  1. Intriguing how man is constantly turning to the animal world in desperately attempting to " advance " himself , both , physically & morally . Animals not being nearly as wicked or depraved .
  2. Also ethnicity has nothing to do with being the 'elect' or chosen. That not all Jews are the elect , but all the elect are Jews .
  3. "her seed " " seed of the woman " , is a direct reference to the Jews . This " remnant " being the " elect " , yet another OT term for the Jews , that will come to Christ .
  4. Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Unfailing Presence, how many heretical doctrines do you suppose have been created by an argument from silence? It is not so much the silence of Jesus regarding His church , but His words of promise to a group of worshipers assured by Him to be confounded , disheartened , filled with dismay and fear , as a direct result of their devotion to worshiping a " holy place " . A "holy place " identified by Jesus as being ground zero of the tribulation. A form of worship which would be pure idolatry for any member of His Spirit filled " church ". " When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place . " ( Matthew 24 : 15 ) It is not so much Christ's total failure to mention one syllable regarding His faithful , especially at this most pivotal point of the tribulation , but His obvious pro-active expenditure of heartfelt concern for a population obviously engaged in a form of worship that would never be tolerated by God for those already having obtained the Presence of Holy Spirit through Christ in their hearts .
  5. Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Unfailing Presence, to answer your question we must qualify what is meant by Christians. Steve, Greetings in Christ to you as well . By " Christians " as a group I feel the term Jesus used is accurate , we are simply His " church " : " I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it ." ( Matthew 16 : 18 ) Given the specific moniker Jesus gave to His true believers do you not find it odd that in the prolific amount of tribulation passages you quoted , there is not one mention of His " church " ?
  6. SAME THING, same way of living, they are DOing during TODAY. That does not sound so bad . Jesus really was exaggerating the tribulation conditions .
  7. Why not? Where does it state God will remove you from tribulation? Just try it . What will present day Christians be doing during the tribulation ?
  8. This sort of reply is unworthy of any person, let alone one who purports to be Christian. Why demand answers when nothing I say will change your mind? Obviously it will be the ungodly people of the world, who will worship the beast. Revelation 13:4 Any 'rapture to heaven' position is false teaching and such a thing cannot happen. Our destiny is on earth and we must fulfil our God given tasks here. The confounding you face due to a Jewish " holy place " being the tribulation's flashpoint as stated by this Jesus who is the Christ is not unique . The entire post-trib theology is similarly hobbled at every turn of looking into the scripture in this way . Personally I would become quite frustrated myself with the constant round peg , square hole pounding required
  9. The Christians, that is: every faithful believing person, are in the holy Land before the Anti-Christ conquers them. Zechariah 14:1-2 Half of them go into exile, to the place of safety and the rest remain. Daniel 11:32 and Revelation 12:6-17 They do not worship the AoD. Somebody is worshiping the " holy Place " that Jesus details as being the tribulations flashpoint . That is not even debatable . Your slippery squirming and refusal to state exactly who is worshiping the " holy place " notwithstanding . Jesus obviously knew who He was speaking to , and so do I . And it comports seamlessly with the pre-trib position . The post-trib position , not so much .
  10. It was all done that we might become children of the second Adam . What we lost in the 1st Adam we have gained a gazillion times in Christ . Even the angels are amazed and perplexed seeking to " look into " what is our inheritance in Jesus . No angel in heaven right now has any privilege so exalted as to come into His immediate presence to make intercession for our fellow man & woman . " in your prayers make intercession for all men ." ( 1 Timothy 2 : 1 )
  11. I have been to the Giza and seen this , but at the time I was not even aware that the Sphinx pre-dates the pyramids by a good amount . Another interesting fact is that the head of a man on the sphinx was ad-hoc , and the original head was obviously destroyed on purpose for some reason .
  12. An easy enough passage to breakdown from believer's standpoint based upon the central spiritual activity engaged in by the population Jesus is speaking to . That the people Jesus is speaking to are engaged in the worship of a " holy place " is not even debatable : " When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation , spoken by Daniel the prophet , stand in the HOLY PLACE. " ( Matthew 24 : 15 ) This presents absolutely no problem for the pre - trib belief since we are not on earth to be involved in what would be for the Christian the blasphemous , idolatrous worship of a physical location . However for the post-trib theory this idolatrous , blasphemous worship of a " holy place " they place themselves in the midst of results in them engaging is some of the most mind-bending bizarre , spiritual gymnastics you will ever read in order to justify the worship of a " holy place " by Christians . Stand by for yet more round peg , square hole pounding .
  13. Until you can say what believers in Jesus Christ are doing worshiping a " holy place " : " When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet ,stand in the holy place ." ( Matthew 24 : 15 ) Then you cannot make these people being given all of Jesus's attention in Matthew Christians . So for me to say these are not Christians worshiping at a " holy place " as the pre-trib position states is in complete accordance with this Jesus who is the Christ being the focus of all our praise and worship , and with His Word . All believing Christians present having been removed from the earth . Whereas the post- trib position of placing themselves in the midst of a Jewless tribulation , must concoct a scenario where believers in Christ are for some reason practicing the blatant unholy Idolatry of worshiping a " holy place " , rather than worshiping Christ . Scriptural proof that the population Jesus is speaking to in Matthew concerning the " holy place " can only be a bunch self-important , don't know how to decrease , chest beating Christians by the most extreme violation of idolatry , combined with extreme spiritual gymnastics .
  14. I know of two people who were " whisked up to heaven " so far this month . And the " first sign of troubles " in their lives began decades ago . It is interesting to me that you say believers " ARE on the earth during the great Trib" yet you seem to be unable to provide any detail of purpose in them being there , or you are afraid to say ?
  15. A believer cannot place him or her self in heaven without making themselves good enough to be there. They certainly can . By the blood of this Jesus who is the Christ they can place themselves in heaven . Interestingly enough the same cannot be said about the believer placing themselves in the midst of the tribulation . Only by self -glorification and lifting up of the heart in pride can they place themselves there .
  16. A believer cannot place him or her self in the midst of the tribulation short of giving themselves the preeminence . It is all about me, myself , & I There is literally no reason for them to be there short of self -glorification . God simply not able finalize the scripture with out them they would have you believe . This is not the first time that pride and lifting up of the heart has caused a believer to boast about their preeminence in the future plans of God , ultimately to their own dismay . " Although all will be offended yet will not I " ( Mark 14 : 29 )
  17. After six pages failing to provide any post-trib rapture rationale that does not point to themselves as being the tribulation's preeminent super hero/ show horses it is quite typical and very consistent of post-tribulation theology . The theory literally has no place to go other than self magnification , placing themselves in the middle of everything . Their underlying premise that God could never accomplish what will be done in the tribulation without them . However being so enamored with one's self lends no credence, and actually detracts from the feasibility of the self -congratulatory post-tribulation rapture theory . Biblically speaking . Whereas the pre-tribulation theology which actually diminishes the importance of current believers in the tribulation is quite in keeping with Christ's Word concerning meekness & humility .
  18. So the verse means nothing to you?Okay so let's get a 2nd witness of being known before birth.. Jeremiah 1:5 "Before I formed thee in the belly I know thee It means exactly what I said to me . And the verse you supplied here shows that God " knows us " even before we are born , in addition to what decisions we will make as adults . God says He " know us before we are born " , not that He hates us before we are born . This whole question deserves further theological unpacking and I will start a thread based upon it in the " theology " forum . Feel free to meet me over there and we will unpack this whole question further .
  19. Since we are assured from God's Word that there are no infants in hell, and we know from God's Son that " such is the kingdom of God " we know that Paul is not referring to infants or children being the source of God's displeasure . Based upon that I would have to say Paul is speaking of Esau's decision , and God's ability to know Esau's decision before he was ever born .
  20. Romans 9:11 "(For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of Him That calleth;" The original passage that is " written " in Malachi makes no reference to Esau being hated in the womb , only his " forsaken heritage " as being the source of God's displeasure . And it also makes clear that hate before birth is not what Paul is referring to either . The emphasis on the womb in topic post being a mis-application of both scriptures .
  21. I understand that Jesus died upon that cross bearing my sin , but as far as the thoughts of God , God's most supreme thought that occurred at that moment between God the Father and God the Son , I don't believe any human being can comprehend . I believe that even when we are in heaven & in His presence that is one thing that we will never comprehend . To deep it is for us . Full of God's own tears , suffering unto death, redemption by the passion of God Himself . A thought of love so excelling that God Himself can think no greater .
  22. Got it . Thank You . And this is why I like to look into these things . I have read the passage and I see nothing that refers to the womb 0r before birth . Nothing . It only speaks of his forsaken " heritage " as being a source of God's displeasure . " Was not Esau Jacob's brother ? Saith the Lord yet I have loved Jacob . And I hated Esau and laid his mountains and his HERITAGE waste for the dragons of the wilderness ." ( Malachi 1 : 1-3 )
  23. curious that wherever these words are "written" prior to Paul quoting them is so hard to find ? I'll keep looking .
  24. The motivations of Lamb that was slain tell us why the Father loves us .
  25. Mary , Don't you know the purpose that Jesus has for you , being neither an inhabitant of Judea , or a worshiper of the " holy place " , for being in the midst of the tribulation ? Well do not feel to bad , you are not the lone ranger in this regard . To this day not one post-tribulation advocate has been able to formulate a biblically cogent purpose for placing themselves in the midst of this prophesized people who are in wonderment of the " holy place " either . " When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation , spoken by Daniel the prophet , STAND IN THE HOLY PLACE ... " ( Matthew 24 : 15 )
