How true, Behold......the World sees God as the great “Cosmic Kill-Joy” ......That “ Mean Old Man in The Sky!” Satan isn’t called “ The Father Of Lies” for no reason .....these are among his biggest....

No sense beating around the bush with anybody......People need to see that they are Lost Sinners who MUST have a Savior to pay the price for their sins....I think they must know the Bad News before they are ready to receive the “ Good News”......I would tell them about the Reality Of Hell and The fact that only Christians are going to escape it.....that might get their attention.....then I would tell them the Gospel Of 1Cor15:1-4.....and if they simply believed “ that”.....they will be fit for Heaven..... I could also use a shorter way.....tell them that God will save anybody that asks to be saved.....it is up to the individual to see the NEED to ask .....It is the Job Of The Holy Spirit to open the heart of a person and convict them of sin......Perhaps the first prayer for an unsaved man is to pray for a visit from the Holy Spirit that can give him “ ears to hear” and a “Contrite Heart”—- a “ Heart” ready to hear and receive the Gospel That will Save Him ....IF he Believes it....... God says, “ Turn to me and I will turn to you”....... uttering That First Prayer or Any facsimile would be considered “ Turning” to Him.....Like the Sinful Tax Collector, who cried out from a Contrite Heart — “Lord, have Mercy on me, a Sinner”.......That will get the job done.....the secret behind any of these approaches is to see that one is a Sinner and that only Jesus can Save Him.... Sorry, But I keep thinking of stuff.....here’s another way to explain Christianity and hopefully get somebody saved ........Just tell them— “ You Are Dirty and only Jesus can cleanse you to get you to Heaven.....ask Him to Cleanse you and “ make you fit for Heaven” and He WILL! OK......i’m Done.....

Pffttt.....The Mighty and Wise Cecil will see through that farce faster than Oprah on a baked ham!

You are Dirty.You don’t make it to Heaven if you are Dirty.Come to Jesus for your Cleansing.Ask him to cleanse you and Save you.He will.He, and ONLY He can make you “Fit For Heaven” ( paraphrased) “Anybody that asks to be Saved will be Saved”....... it’s all about seeing that you are a Hell-Bound Sinner That needs a Saviour.......May God open your heart to these Truths.....You will be in my Prayers.......

Somebody once observed, “ Patriotism— the last refuge for a Scoundrel”.........In a similar way.... “James— the last refuge for a Legalist.” Nothing Wrong with James.....lotsa good stuff in his Book! Great as it is, it is NOT the place we Gentiles go for Doctrine .Jesus said “ follow Paul.” When I can find where God says for Gentiles like you and I to “ Follow James” , I will do as ordered.Even Peter referred to “ the Wisdom given to Paul” and he did not mention James at all.....James says he is addressing the “ twelve tribes.” I am Scotch- Irish— not Jewish. I go to Paul for Doctrine.All Scripture is FOR us but not necessarily TO us. I don’t go to Leviticus for Doctrine nor do I follow James .My latest Marching Orders are to “ follow Paul as he follows Christ.Jesus personally gave the Gospel to Paul to give to us in order to be saved.To Paul was given the “ Mysteries” that were hidden by God ever since the Beginning Of the World.....Paul’s God-Given credentials vastly outweigh those of James.....I’ll go with Paul until it says somewhere that “ James is the Messenger to deliver the Gospel to Gentiles” BTW...... “ Dead Faith” is STILL FaIth.....it is just not doing what God wants it to do, which is to do good works and carry the burdens of others......Those who have Faith in Jesus are Saved.Those with “ NO FAITH” are damned.....those with Dead Faith will spend an Eternity with Paltry Rewards......Saved, But Barely Saved.....They will stand Ashamed on Judgement Day.......

Another Friday.......my best estimate? 20 weeks since the unspeakable murder occurred.....so sweet, so lovable , so dead. “Proud” is the opposite of “Contrite”.....Remember the story Jesus told to the crowd? The “ Proud Pharisees” thought they were “ Good Enough” for Heaven—- boasting over the many “ good” things they had done, deluding themselves that they “ kept the Law.” They were nothing but “ self righteous”..... a quality Paul assured us later in Romans 10 would guarantee an Eternity in Hell. The Man That was “ JUSTIFIED”, or made fit for Heaven, on the other hand, was CONTRITE to the point that he would not even look up to Heaven.All he could say in his humility ( Contriteness) was , “ Lord , have Mercy on me, a Sinner”.......THAT was the Man that went back to his home JUSTIFIED .......Every person in Heaven will have this Contrite Spirit......Every Person That is Proud to the extent that they see no need for a Savior will go to Hell A Jewish English Teacher I had in college.....an unsaved man at that time...almost 50 years ago...was not a Believer in Jesus yet even HE had the smarts to know this .. “ Anybody who thinks that they are “ good enough” for Heaven is Damned”......

“ The Righteous shall LIVE by Faith”........Faith is simply taking God at His Word...... God's Word says, “ I am the Lord That Healith Thee”...... Some Believers get their healing here on Earth.....Some get it in Heaven.....God was faithful to His Promise to Dr.Wenliang.....The Good Doctor is enjoying Perfect Health as we speak.......

The Smokie Mountains are great! Especially on a Harley.......about 6 hours away from where I live.....been there many, many times.....even saw a live Bear once! He was locked up in a cage behind a gas station......kinda sad.....
