Most every church in America is on Zoom now, find a local church to meet with people, even during a lockdown. SALVATION is encouraging as is assurance, memorize John 3:16 - “God loved the world in this way--He gave His Son, so whoever trusts Him shall never perish but has eternal life."

But bad advice to tell you "just stop your addiction". You need to understand God's power is required, and not just willpower, which fails. Assurance is based on Bible facts. How you understand salvation colors how you understand assurance: Heaven is a perfect place where morally imperfect sinners cannot live (without ruining life there). Jesus died and rose for our sin, trust Him today to make you perfect when you meet in person--when He brings you to Heaven. I trusted Jesus, not me, in the past, for perfection. In the present and future I have 100% asssurance. If you're not 100% sure about salvation (assured) trust JESUS NOW FOR SALVATION, not your own efforts to someday (never!) achieve moral perfection / right action 100% of the time).

Start with verses about salvation, like John 3:16. You definitely need to find a local church that will have Zoom meetings now, during this pandemic time, so you can have helpful Christian friends and fellowship.

Visit a Pentecostal church for people to heal you via intercessory prayer. Talk with a CHRISTIAN professional counselor for help with clearer thinking.

Since it promoted false Roman doctrine, it is a letter written in Hell, but by Satan. JESUS saves, not "understanding the [false] Eucharist", etc.

False teachers can be self-deceived or charlatans who perform fake miracles or have the power of Satan to perform miracles. Have you not heard of people who pray in the name of Jesus and others and see miracle healings and life changes, but know neither the saving gospel nor Jesus Christ?

How did we get so beaten down that we forgot: 1) Affirm that all lives are godly gifts 2) Use our pro life stance to topic switch to the saving gospel of Jesus Christ, for example, did you know Jesus died for not just unborn children, but for you and I . . .

Time to love your spouse harder, show affection, fall in love with them again, laugh about the in-laws (when they cannot hear you). GO FOR IT! This will change your life and your outlook on life.

When dealing with severe demonic oppression, there are two chief escape routes: 1) Read the Bible--Satan will stop doing actions that CAUSE Bible reading and study! 2) Visit a Spirit-filled/full gospel/Pentecostal church and ask to be put in touch with DELIVERANCE ministry workers!

The Return of Christ. What other story could substitute?

Yes and no? Millions recognize 9:6-7 as a clear prophecy of Jesus Christ.

Something like 30% of the men in the Bible who start well, finish well. FINISH well, men and women of God!

1) Find out if Mazikeen is a highly sexed TV show character, then urge the parents to change the name based on THAT association--a request they may take better than "demon name". 2) Search Hebrew and Greek for a great nickname for Mazikeen that is godly. Some here may have suggestions. 3) Sometimes you have to bear with it--Daniel's friends had their names changed from "Jehovah names" to "Bel names" in Babylon.

Even a cursory reading shows this is a prophecy about Jesus. My Jewish brethren love to say it's about King Hezekiah, who is of course not an ETERNAL Father, was of David but not born in Bethlehem, was a wartime King who did not reign over peace, etc.

Have we not yet answered the OP? Depression comes in different forms. Some is chemical, some from past abuse, some is demonic. Prayer helps, particularly guided prayer to address root issues. Talking with fellow sufferers helps. Visiting a physician or counselor, particularly a born again one, helps. Some depression can be cured quickly/instantly, some more slowly.
