  1. I understand. I bet you understand why I cannot trust a teacher who said Satan had sex with Adam and Eve, rather than that they ate fruit and knew good/evil for disobedience...
  2. I accept your stones, but saying X Christian network has heresy does not allow Y Christian network to be tolerated for heresy. How to parse heresy/how to learn who to trust? Bible study, not watching other people talk about the Bible. How to see others saved? Evangelism, not watching televangelists, etc.
  3. If eating fruit means "sex with Satan" then Adam and Eve had sex with Satan. Avoiding a teacher who teaches such a heresy/inane thing/non-biblical thing isn't telling you what to believe, it's telling you who to TRUST. We are to trust Jesus for salvation and distrust false teachers.
  4. THEY/WE don't do this. My fellowship emphasizes prophecy/encouragement/words of knowledge etc.
  5. Part of the Shepherd's Chapel's doctrine follows British Israelism, as well as a version of the "serpent seed" doctrine that identifies a "Kenite" lineage of people who are descended from Cain who slew Abel. So . . . bad doctrine, using pseudoarchaeology.
  6. Then you've not studied the arguments. Trans people deal with phenomenally high rates of sexual violence and suicide, one of many reasons why it's VERY difficult to get the trans procedures performed. One other argument--the Bible firmly describes genders and rebukes gender fluidity. By the way, "God knows what He's doing/doesn't make mistakes" is not a silly argument. He is perfection, and perfection comes from His nature to us.
  7. Faith equals TRUST. Abraham and others trusted God's promises were to come true, before they knew the Christ.
  8. Eve and Adam had free will, by birth from God, not from faith. Faith equals TRUST. TRUST JESUS FOR ETERNAL LIFE.
  9. It's the same gospel with kind and bitter people. Would you like eternal life? Are you perfect? Trust Jesus today for salvation and for moral perfection (ability to live in utopia) when He meets you in person.
  10. Has a church elder anointed you with oil, for illness prayer?
  11. It is an it isn't. David and the prophets cried out to a sovereign God during trials, but realized God had deeper plans, blessings.
  12. No. I've studied the issue from all sides extensively, and heartily recommend this book: https://www.amazon.com/Last-Days-Calendar-Steven-Sherman/dp/1579215874
  13. The pre-trib rapture is incorrect. "In the world you shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer . . . "
  14. Whenever the spirits assault you, READ THE BIBLE! Satan will never do anything to anyone that makes them READ THE BIBLE. Try it--it's worked for others with poltergeists!
  15. I'm glad you stopped with porn, that is NOT condemned, that is BLESSED! "Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit" is, biblically speaking, not saying something bad about the Holy Spirit, but rejecting Jesus and His offer of salvation. Have you done THAT? Trust Jesus today for eternal life. You need to find a biblical/Spirit-filled church where folks can pray and counsel you through your self-condemnation issues. I had these for years but you CAN find freedom in Christ!
  16. Having a "spiritual" or "moving" experience is different than having correct relationship with Jesus. Jesus said if you mix works with your trust in Him (RCC), you do not have eternal life. Trust me, you can find God far more real at almost any evangelical or Pentecostal church than any RCC church.
  17. The Roman church is not the best vehicle to grow as a Christian. A Bible-based church is. Trust Jesus for eternal life then get to a Bible church. I say this to you gently, but as someone who knows God He's never asked anyone to be with a church that isn't Bible-centered.
  18. Witness the gospel to all these people (treat them the way you'd like to be treated). No, you don't have to spend time together or be friends
  19. Self-defense is allowed. Cold-blooded murder is disallowed. Christians were warned by Jesus that to live as a soldier/warrior like David can be dangerous--"He who lives by the sword, dies by it." David was a giant of faith but disallowed from building the Temple because the church is built by peacemakers.
  20. Is he reading random Bible passages? Have Him read John's gospel and set times to discuss what he's reading.
  21. A lovely idea, thanks for sharing it.
  22. Absolutely. As a Messianic Jew, I understand how Hanukkah is the Festival of Lights and how that ties to Jesus in John 10, the Light of the World.
  23. Yes, the Menorah outside the Knesset and the Menorah outside Ben Gurion Airport--and on Israeli currency, etc. (I lead tours to Israel) has seven lamps. The seven churches in Revelation are therefore REALLY IN Christ's body--seven inside one base. The Hanukkah oil was said to last eight days--the ninth candle lights the other eight candles. The Menorah is said to have eight branches, the servant is raised above the other eight on the main trunk. See the pictures of Christ there?!
  24. The Temple Menorah/Revelation Menorah is branches into one base--the way Yeshua describes His relationship with His people. A Hanukkah Menorah has nine branches, not seven, for the eight nights of Hanukkah plus a ninth holder for the Shammas or servant candle that lights the eight. That represents Jesus and the Spirit igniting believers but is a different Menorah.
  25. God answering and/or hearing prayer, etc. doesn't mean they have a relationship.
