  1. Have I commited a sin by asking. If so show us all.... which. Im not feeling much love here. Maybe I should leave it here and go and ask the Prostitutes and Tax collectors at the gates of the forum. I will pray for you.
  2. Ok, Thank you Butero. And yes thank you Justin Adams I have never owned a KJV so thought it best to ask. It proves to me one thing, scripture can be twisted, added to and have content removed etc etc Which is partly whu you may or may not notice I am critical in comparing the books contained in the bible with its "overall" flow or consistency. I also ask to be shown whu some books are judged canon and others rejected as apocraphy. I have a goodnews and read mainly online sourced compared, biblehub etc to compare or quote here or elsewhere online. We have been given a brain to discern but it would be much easier if we all were able to agree on what is or should be authentic. I wouldn't like to undertake that task on my own. Someone did explain to me of certain ones to avoid and am learning and seeing why as they are very distant in meaning from others, just like you mentioned.
  3. Why specifically the KJV? Scripture doesnt mention KJV.
  4. My personal relationship with Christ is just that, personal.
  5. Can I ask then what purpose is of an internet forum to have with regards to learning if like you quite rightly say. The forum itself is not the bible so what is its use? I will put this out there too. I like to see what these false teachers write. It helps me better discern the truth and be able to see falsehoods and identify the methods in which these false teachers operate by. I like to see how of what they say actually stands up to scripture. Some of the worst teachers of the book I have noticed are those who are "closed" in mind and cannot (for human pride) humble themselves or say why they believe something to be true or false when questioned. They recoil in fear that they might of got it completely wrong and in the same time ignore the gift of recieving or giving more of the biblical message. Another thing I notice is this need for forums to include a like button type thing which all in all is a pavlovian trick that can and will be used to alianate new members ...thats if existing members choose to indirectly insult them by ignoring them like a petulent child. If someone needs help ..... If you are talking about individuals (which I am to assume you are regarding perhaps one particular new member) then that belief system is shoved in a drawer somewhere and is allergic to the light of scrutiny or reasoning. If you have the truth you have the armor also to defeat the lies.Jesus taught as an individual and didnt rely on group-think popularity in numbers. Wolves hunt in number too. 1 man with the truth is more powerful than 100,000 duped liars. Many of these preachers spotlight the need for "warning" others in a way that they feel some inherant immunity from the very things they warn about. Satan comes as a shining light at first offering much but giving or delivering zero. A very short snippet of scripture tells : by their fruits ye shall know them" So you really have nothing to fear apart from God. Dont expect to make friends from this either, this is a place of great division. Seek the truth always and you will find it (it will set you free not try to imprison you or your mind)
  6. That is correct. We are not expanding the church while only preaching to the already healed in Gods grace..we are to become fishers of men, heal the sick (mental sickness as well) like the great teacher showed us example of. " While Jesus was having dinner at Levi’s house, many tax collectors and sinners were eating with him and his disciples, for there were many who followed him.16 When the teachers of the law who were Pharisees saw him eating with the sinners and tax collectors, they asked his disciples: “Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?” 17 On hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” I wonder sometimes how the internet compares to good old getting out there and making more of the deeds. While it is healthy for the church to have discussion it needs to expand on snatching more people oit of the flames so to speak, a much harder task imho with greater rewards for both.
  7. Gideon, do you think it is a lost cause now (the physical earthly churches/denoms) and that something altogether not learned yet will become the catalyst? P.s I read your opening of this thread to my closest and although non denominational and me being the youngest, we all enjoyed it very much. Thank you
  8. I like all the eloquent prose of biblical verse spoken of by some of the preachers here, wandering through the poetic nature of light scripture and the use of more sobering serious versus that render the reader offering their full and undivided attention, when the neccessity dictates. The intricate debate of the seasoned Christian who can quote and display a wide range of biblical knowledge invites a better understanding of what is really as stake. I very much dislike the cognitive dissonance and scriptual sophistry displayed here when a truth is put foward that challenges the common mistakes regarding what are very simple terms, simply to be ignored for both their inconveniences of mind or deliberate connotation to unhinging poor understanding. It must be said that this is not a competition to be placed amongst eachother, because as long as you seek the truth with a sincere heart you always stand to gain. Ignorance is dangerous but willful ignorance is very deceitful and will only confuse and scatter the sheppards flock. When I get something wrong I am expected to humble myself to the learning of error. I welcome it.
  9. The olive branch was a small remnant of the Tribe of Dan who escaped capture and eventually settled in Ireland before the two periods of captivity, later to be grafted (joined) with their kin who had made the same journey through the land and was identified by their language and recorded history. Besides.... A withered unproductive Fig branch will not graft onto a healthy productive Olive tree successfully. The marks I have provided are quite striking are they not? Can you apply all 100 to an area of Palastine renamed Israel that is sustained from the help of many countries but oddly not by itself? Genesis 4:10
  10. Nope. That has not been fullfilled at all. You are confusing people with Jews being Israel (Jacob) who are imposters. The nation of Jews are adherants to Judaism and follow the Talmud who curse our savior. Look to the marks of Israel and you will clearly see which people carry these marks. But since it has happened, that the marks of Israel have been fulfilled by the Anglo Saxon and kindred people, do you think it mere accident or coincidence?
  11. My observation is that much words are spoken or written, which carries its own limitations (remember: it is but an internet forum at the end of the day ...all word and not much deed). The majority act hear is preaching to the mostly already converted, which leaves more time being spent on the details and bikkering (sharpening eachothers swords!) Much action is now needed (I speak about myself here) As I become weaned off the milk of the forums and introduced to the meat of this spiritual pradicament out into open warfare, where Gods armour comes into effect and correct use. Trivialities will be dropped quite easily in the near future as the veil drops, everyone will see this is a two horse race. We are walking through the valley of the shadow of death, no so much of a melting pot but a bottle neck of sorts, trying to find the straight and narrow path helping eachother along the way, offering security, comfort and love, in amount to what we have held onto in reserves for so long. 12. "When Scripture admonishes the believer concerning the lifestyle of a Christian, the intention is to reveal what can identify one who is reborn. " We must pray and make positive changes that can be seen by ourselves and everybody around us. However.... There must be a fixed measurment or law or compass giving directions. You have to recieve the gift of knowing and being able to determine with belief, faith and surety which way is up from down. "Are we singing from the same hymn" Cause and effect, determined by our free will to make choices and decisions gives us either... A: Positives (security, benefits etc and gives life a clear path to grow and multiply). B: Negatives (failiure, spiritual degradation, poor health/death curses and punishments etc). Everyone has to be in agreement as to what the "fixed" LAW is (or how to calibrate the compass so to speak) this is why it must be fixed (in our hearts) and written down for future posterity. Knowledge to what the effects, become self evident or the consequences (fruits) of these decisions brings us either closer to Jesus and God and a greater appreciation of what real love is... Or seperates us from God.
  13. I was looking for answers to this question and came to read this. If God has made this covenant FOREVER in Exodus 31:16-17 ..why does Paul (Saul) say that each individual Christian should decide whether to observe a Sabbath rest, "One man considers one day more sacred than another; another man considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind" (Romans 14:5). ://www.gotquestions.net/Printer/Saturday-Sunday-PF.html "What day is the Sabbath, Saturday or Sunday? Do Christians have to observe the Sabbath day?" Answer: It is often claimed that "God instituted the Sabbath in Eden" because of the connection between the Sabbath and creation in Exodus 20:11. Although God's rest on the seventh day (Genesis 2:3) did foreshadow a future Sabbath law, there is no biblical record of the Sabbath before the children of Israel left the land of Egypt. Nowhere in Scripture is there any hint that Sabbath-keeping was practiced from Adam to Moses. The Word of God makes it quite clear that Sabbath observance was a special sign between God and Israel: "The Israelites are to observe the Sabbath, celebrating it for the generations to come as a lasting covenant. It will be a sign between me and the Israelites forever, for in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day he abstained from work and rested" (Exodus 31:16"17). In Deuteronomy 5, Moses restates the Ten Commandments to the next generation of Israelites. Here, after commanding Sabbath observance in verses 12"14, Moses gives the reason the Sabbath was given to the nation Israel: "Remember that you were slaves in Egypt and that the Lord your God brought you out of there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. Therefore the Lord your God has commanded you to observe the Sabbath day" (Deuteronomy 5:15). God's intent for giving the Sabbath to Israel was not that they would remember creation, but that they would remember their Egyptian slavery and the Lord's deliverance. Note the requirements for Sabbath-keeping: A person placed under that Sabbath law could not leave his home on the Sabbath (Exodus 16:29), he could not build a fire (Exodus 35:3), and he could not cause anyone else to work (Deuteronomy 5:14). A person breaking the Sabbath law was to be put to death (Exodus 31:15; Numbers 15:32"35). An examination of New Testament passages shows us four important points: 1) Whenever Christ appears in His resurrected form and the day is mentioned, it is always the first day of the week (Matthew 28:1, 9, 10; Mark 16:9; Luke 24:1, 13, 15; John 20:19, 26). 2) The only times the Sabbath is mentioned from Acts through Revelation, the occasion is Jewish evangelism, and the setting is usually a synagogue (Acts chapters 13–18). Paul wrote, “To the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might win Jews” (1 Corinthians 9:20). Paul did not go to the synagogue to fellowship with and edify the saints, but to convict and save the lost. 3) After Paul states, “From now on I will go to the Gentiles” (Acts 18:6), the Sabbath is never again mentioned. And 4) instead of suggesting adherence to the Sabbath day, the remainder of the New Testament implies the opposite (including the one exception to point 3, above, found in Colossians 2:16). Looking more closely at point 4 above will reveal that there is no obligation for the New Testament believer to keep the Sabbath, and will also show that the idea of a Sunday "Christian Sabbath" is also unscriptural. As discussed above, there is one time the Sabbath is mentioned after Paul began to focus on the Gentiles, "Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ" (Colossians 2:16"17). The Jewish Sabbath was abolished at the cross where Christ "canceled the written code, with its regulations" (Colossians 2:14). This idea is repeated more than once in the New Testament: "One man considers one day more sacred than another; another man considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind. He who regards one day as special, does so to the Lord" (Romans 14:5"6a). "But now that you know God " or rather are known by God " how is it that you are turning back to those weak and miserable principles? Do you wish to be enslaved by them all over again? You are observing special days and months and seasons and years" (Galatians 4:9"10). But some claim that a mandate by Constantine in A.D. 321 "changed" the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday. On what day did the early church meet for worship? Scripture never mentions any Sabbath (Saturday) gatherings by believers for fellowship or worship. However, there are clear passages that mention the first day of the week. For instance, Acts 20:7 states that "on the first day of the week we came together to break bread." In 1 Corinthians 16:2 Paul urges the Corinthian believers "on the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with his income." Since Paul designates this offering as "service" in 2 Corinthians 9:12, this collection must have been linked with the Sunday worship service of the Christian assembly. Historically Sunday, not Saturday, was the normal meeting day for Christians in the church, and its practice dates back to the first century. The Sabbath was given to Israel, not the church. The Sabbath is still Saturday, not Sunday, and has never been changed. But the Sabbath is part of the Old Testament Law, and Christians are free from the bondage of the Law (Galatians 4:1-26; Romans 6:14). Sabbath keeping is not required of the Christian"be it Saturday or Sunday. The first day of the week, Sunday, the Lord's Day (Revelation 1:10) celebrates the New Creation, with Christ as our resurrected Head. We are not obligated to follow the Mosaic Sabbath"resting, but are now free to follow the risen Christ'serving. The Apostle Paul said that each individual Christian should decide whether to observe a Sabbath rest, "One man considers one day more sacred than another; another man considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind" (Romans 14:5). We are to worship God every day, We are to worship God every day, not just on Saturday or Sunday. ??

  18. http://www.fulcrum7.com/blog/2016/5/14/god-is-sending-islam-to-punish-the-west Islam is experiencing an extraordinary resurgence, and is now the world’sfastest growing religion. The hatred between Ishmael and Isaac is coming to a head. The world’s two largest religions will not cleave. Like iron and clay, Islam and the Christian West will never mix harmoniously. The West is rediscovering Islam’s age-old imperative of jihad, something not seen since the 17th Century. We in the West were not prepared for this new wave of Islamic violence. But it should remind of us some biblical history, when God allowed theenemies of Israel to have their way with His chosen people. Pagan nations were given access to just come in and take what they wanted, ruling with exacting cruelty. God’s people chafed under the Persians, Babylonians, Egyptians and Romans as a result of their disobedience. So let me propose that God is sending Islam to the West again, the stronghold of democracy and freedom underpinned by Christian values, to punish us for our debauchery and wickedness. God sometimes allows more sinful nations to punish his people—look at the Assyrians who swept away Israel, or the Babylonians who marched Judah into captivity. But it is interesting that our Muslim punishers hate the very sins the West is now known for: homosexuality, feminism, and consumption of alcohol among other things. Muslims deal with homosexuals in shocking ways. Feminism is not tolerated in Islam and alcohol is a forbidden drink. Consider western decline in the following areas:
  19. Thank you brother. I might be filling my mind with the wrong information, that is always a danger I face every day. Jesus studied the law. I also need to recieve the commandments correctly or have a firm grasp on them so that I can love God with all my heart and all my soul. The racial aspects of the LAW contained in scripture are part of the "whole" of scripture and perhaps I am only seeing this as the main assault on my brothers and sisters. I am genuinely concerned and passionate about my kindred peoples and seeing their inheritance being snatched away from them by nothing more than fear of political correctness and false teachers. In doing so I neglect myself perhaps, from knowing and getting closer to God. I understand your warning. I very much appreciate you saying what you have and I will take it on board. Im hungry for knowledge as well which takes over sometimes. Dan
  20. I agree. The truth has nothing to fear from scrutiny, nothing at all. Censorship is to lead in the opposite direction. Wilful ignorance or cognitive dissonance is the great earthly curriculum. Be on guard. By their fruits ye shall know them.
  21. The writer also puts foward that the flood was not universal (suggesting post flood non adamic nations) ?
  22. The origin of the name Cush is irretrievably obscure, and none of the translators have more to say about it than that it is related to Ethiopia and to perhaps having a dark countenance. The prophet Jeremiah rhetorically asks, "Can the Cushite change his skin?" (Jeremiah 13:23), which may or may not suggest that the Cushites were known for being black. Still, this says very little about the meaning of the name Cush.
  23. Exodus 20:4
  24. The curse occurs in the book of genesis and concerns Noah's drunkenness and the accompanying shameful act perpetrated by his son Ham, the father of Canaan (Gen. 9:20–27 Has Ham (the father of Cush) lost his inheritence? A clue is given "as seeing his fathers nakedness". Leviticus 18:7 King James Version (KJV) 7 The nakedness of thy father, or the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover: she is thy mother; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness. It has been suggested that since Noah was drunk at the time in his tent and on account of marriage "two become one in the flesh" He uncovered his mothers nakedness also: "Canaan, Moab, and Ammon were the consequence of incest." To determine if Cush is a black person will require closer look at scripture. On the face of it I have not found anyhting that determines Cush by black skin color so far. I am reading this link from the same website as bible commentary to try and understand your question. http://www.hope-of-israel.org/TableofNations.html
  25. Yes. I have read this too. Noah was also given the duty to collect and preserve. The days of Noah are referred to pre and post flood in the bible and are both connected by common factors signified. (Genesis 6:5). Verses 11 and 12 say, “Now the earth was corrupt in God’s sight, and the earth was filled with violence. And God saw the earth, and behold, it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth.” However, “Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord” (verse 8). ....... Matthew 24:37-39 New English Translation (NET Bible) 37 For just like the days of Noah were, so the coming of the Son of Man will be. 38 For in those days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered the ark.39 And they knew nothing until the flood came and took them all away. It will be the same at the coming of the Son of Man.
