Ohhh, do it!!! The first time we smoked tuna we didn't care for it, ...placed it in the fridge for the cats, ...the next day I curiously took a bite... Oh man, ...it needs to rest in the fridge, like cheese, for the smoke flavor to come out. That evening, ...when wife came home she asked, "What's for dinner," ...I said, "Tuna sandwiches," she curled up her nose, ...until she took a bite! LOL Beef is expensive for us, but fresh caught tuna, is $4.50 a pound,...yes!!!

I took my wife on our honey moon, ...22 years after we were married in '17, ...first time we left the island since we had been married, ...I mean, ...where can we go when we live in Paradise, ...went back to my church in Nevada, ..couldn't wait to see a couple of brothers that were so "brotherly" to me, ...they were both younger than me and when I arrived found out they had gone home to be with our Lord... Beloved, I am speaking for myself, ...I abused my body, I was a young proud, arrogant carpenter, ...and took bets as to what I could carry, ...nothing that was proposed to me was too heavy, ...I've carried 300 lbs, ...just because of my pride and the money. Now, I can't lift a small child, ...I've torn the biceps muscle loose from the bone and snapped the tendons in my left arm, the doctor said I risk doing it in my right arm also, ...and my legs and back too if I lift anything too heavy for them. Sister, we all are going to die, ...the closer we approach it the more cognizant we are of it, ...it's a ratio of mankind, ...100%, ...no one gets out alive, ...except those that will be taken in the Rapture. Brother, "who" wrote the "textualism" if it wasn't man? God hasn't shut the door on my church, ...in fact the Holy Spirit is "very" active in it... And He isn't "waiting" for me bro, ...many years ago I stepped off of the Throne in my heart and let the Holy Spirit take His rightful place, allowing Him to rule, reign and direct my life 24/7. In fact, since I work with my hands and am currently a cabinet maker, ...years ago I read where God "anointed Bezaleel to build the furniture for His Tabernacle, ...so since I'm the kinda guy who just believes what God has said in His Word, ...and since I'm a former house framer and don't have the slightest idea how to build the furniture and cabinets my boss asks me to build, ...I asked Father to anoint me the way He anointed Bezaleel, ...and He has, ...it's like when I'm working in the cabinet shop I'm not the one who is thinking, ...it's the Holy Spirit doing the thinking for me, ...He gives me the plans as to "how" to build, He gives me the necessary "jigs" to hold the material I'm working on with the power tools, ..He gives me the order of "how" I should precede with the build... But it doesn't stop in my cabinet shop, the Holy Spirit teaches me as I open up the Word with Him, 1 John 2:27, ...He tells me which route to take as I go to work and cross town to avoid the traffic, He tells me what store to go to to buy the necessary materials I need, ...I'm also the maintenance man for 78 apartments, when I have a scheduled appointment to repair something in a apartment He tells me what tools I need to take, ...sometimes telling me to take a tool I "think" I won't need for the repair I need to make, and while there I find I need the "exact" tool He told me to bring. I could go on and on, ...I could write books on how the Holy Spirit is alive "practically" in my life for all of these years, ...no bro, I'm one of many that proves the Philadelphian Church of Jesus is not dead, ...far from it! There's quite a story behind it... Back in the early 2,000's I was craving some deep pit" cooked" beef that we always ate at the County Fair, so I went on line to learn how to cook it in the oven, TVWBB site popped up and I read everything and drooled over the pics, ...a few years later the WSM showed up in our Ace Hardware store! I was good friends with the manager and since they were all still in there boxes, stacked on the highest shelf, ..I asked him to give me one and I would buy it, ...he said NO! What??? He said they were no good, cooking on them made your lips and tongue tingle, ...of course I knew immediately that was from using the wrong wood. He still wouldn't sell one to me, ..so I told him if he didn't have some one climb up there and bring one down for me I would do it myself! Still he resisted, ...said he would knock of 50% on a Weber Gas BBQ Grill; I walked over to the ladder on wheels and rolled it into place, ...he said okay, but don't bring is back for a refund! I bought it, some charcoal, wood chips and stopped at the store for some chicken! LOL When I stared to assemble it it was the same story from the father-in-law, ...he even told my wife not to eat the chicken! HA! ...more for me, ...well the chicken was delicious for the first time smoking, and as my wife watched me "scrafe" it down, ...she finally asked me if my lips and tongue "tingled," ...of course not, ...so she tried a piece and has been hooked ever since... That WSM caused a Smoker revival here, I took some chicken, lamb, brisket, pork to my manager friend to try, ...and the WSM's came down from the shelf and sold out, ...even caused a BBQ Cook Off where a local Tahitian man was a celebrity from Kolanta, the French version of Survivor, came to judge. Then came the Great Smokey Mountain cabinet smoker that I modded with PID controlled electric stripe heater for sausage making, I finally took my friend up on his offer for a gas BBQ Grill and then a charcoal grill and finally, living and working for a while at the Central Coast counties of San Luis Obispo and Santa Maria, I built myself a Santa Maria style BBQ and talked the meat guy into ordering some Tri-tip for me. Man, I've been down the Smoking meat and BBQ'en road, ...in Tahiti!!! Father has been so good to me!

May I humbly suggest the reason you don't understand is because you haven't realized, come to the rational and logical conclusion, ...that the LAW was written on "stone" in the Old Covenant. For those who are "in," ...and are the "recipients" of the New Covenant, ...which is so often confused, ...actually the "New" Covenant was put in place before the "Old" Covenant Law; Gen 15, ...God made a "Covenant" with Abraham and "his" descendants in which Abraham didn't participate, ...he prepared the sacrifice, ...but God himself ratified the Covenant. So back to "what" you seem to be missing is in the "New" Covenant, ...while we are "sleeping" like Abraham "was" when God ratified His Covenant with mankind, ...we are given new hearts of flesh, the Holy Spirit "removes" our hearts of stone, ...and then on those hearts of flesh He "writes" His Law, ...but not only there, in our minds too. This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; Heb 10:16 So, hopefully you see, ...those living under the "Old" Covenant had to be reminded of the Law by some "external" means; Those of us who are actually "living" in the New" Covenant, ...we have the Holy Spirit "living" inside of us, guiding and directing our lives, ...any "thought" of murder, rape, lying, adultery, thievery, ...is just a "temptation" from the enemy of our souls, ...it' certainly doesn't come from the Holy Spirit, ...immediately, when the temptation "is" presented, ...I don't have to run to my Bible and look in Exodus 20, ...no, ...He gives us a Scripture verse to defeat the temptation, ...in our minds, ...and since He has written the His Law in my heart, ...and it's with our hearts we love our God, ...depending of course, ... on how much we love God Luke 7:47, ...well, ...I'll let you decide how much you love God and what you will do with the temptation... Personally, ...while I understand the pre-packaged Communion elements are more convenient, ...I prefer the way my Church did Communion back in the States, ...plates were passed with a loaf of bread and each one "torn" off a piece for themselves, ...sure made, "This is my body, broken for you," ...more real and substantial, ...like the way Christ instituted Communion.

Just finished off a batch, umm, umm chili, ...with beans! Chili beans and corn bread, chili burgers..., might have to make some more now that you mentioned it. We have beef imported from New Zealand and Uruguay, we prefer the New Zealand beef, ...it's 100% Angus and the bizarre thing is it's cheaper for us to buy the the New Zealanders... Here's the third verse of Psalms 22, ...I hope that it will comfort, encourage and strengthen you: But Thou art Holy, O Thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel. Father knows your despair and pain, ...He is listening to your cry, ...He is with you at this very moment, ...He had to be separated from His Son for our Salvation, ...but now that we are "His" children He promised He would never leave us or forsake us... I agree with Wayne, except for the 15,000 miles, ...what I've heard is the mansion that Jesus is building for me, ...will be about 75 acres, ...knowing the desires of my heart, ...He could fill up the 75 acre cube, since He knows how much I love the forest, with mountains, streams, a small lake, ...I wouldn't mind a log cabin either. It's called the New Jerusalem, ...the Jerusalem of today is filled with houses, ...why would the New Jerusalem be any different?
