The Greek word translated as "mark" in those passages emphatically refers to a visible tattoo or scarring....carving, gouging. I have no doubt that whatever else is involved there will be visible evidence on those who take it.

this is definitely going to be used to push toward a cashless society. Cash as a vector for disease is too juicy a target for them to overlook. The ultimate decimation of the dollar/global reserve currency system (coming soon) will be all that is necessary to finish the job.

I think we're going to find that prophecy is very literal, and will end up having both a spiritual and a natural fulfillment.

The Vatican may have been immersed in this stuff longer than most, but it's now infiltrated just about every evangelical/protestant denomination as well to varying degrees. I suspect the events unfolding now are going to result in some very, very deep exposures. I believe that is something very "present" in the Lord's heart in this season. It's not going to be satanic attacks that bring disgrace to the so called "church". It's a righteous King cleaning up His own house....hide and watch.

I think if you were telling the truth you'd be figuring out what you need to do instead of setting traps you can snap closed.....

you can't "unbelieve" your new birth. until that question is settled the message will remain beyond the hearing of those who can't see past that until it is settled. It takes belief to get opened up to the Spirit and allow Him to bring life to a dead spirit. But doubt, or disobedience does not reverse His work. At the new birth, your human spirit is born again of INCORRUPTIBLE seed...you couldn't gain that by being good enough, and even rebellious works, or refusal to work cannot kill it. The price of disobedience is HIGH.....it CANNOT be ignored or overlooked. But disobedience after the new birth makes you a disobedient SON. Not a lost man destined for the lake of fire. It will cost you your responsibility, authority, sphere of influence, and even lesser ability in the resurrected body, but it will not cost you the lake of fire. Again, thorough study and understanding of the three different elements of our being and how salvation operates on each, as well as understanding eternal judgement leaves both of those things clearly answered.

Otherwise, EQ activity in general has ticked a bit higher in all the spots I'm watching....though nothing really remarkable...just an uptick. The only truly interesting new development is along the west coast of South America. Five 4+ quakes in less than a day, and 4 of those are blot echos (deep quakes) which statistically create a higher possibility for a 6+ within 72 hrs. It's also interesting to note that deep quakes in South American tend to happen east of the Andes, and all four of these are on the coast, west of the Andes. Hawaii has fired up with a new swarm as well, though all very small so far. There was a 4+ at Ridgecrest again, big enough to make me hope maybe the Lord will rip China Lake wide open one of these days.... Those 4 South American quakes are worth watching for the next three days or so.

Another New Madrid quake....still a squeaker but unusual to see, these don't happen very often and three within a few days makes me interested...

again, this whole dispute is just so unnecessary. Once spirit, soul and body are clearly understood, and the fundamental doctrine of Christ mentioned in Hebrews 6:1-3 called eternal judgement is understood, we can get past this talking past each other and bickering and actually focus on the core message Gideon is trying to disseminate. Until the fear of losing salvation is laid to rest once and for all, the rest is going to get totally lost in the chaos, and that saddens me.

I'll sure be glad when the Lord finally moves to resolve this OSAS/lose it mess. :/ It's clouding/tainting so many important topics. Understanding what the Bible teaches about spirit, soul and body, as well as the doctrine of eternal judgement causes the whole conflict to just evaporate into meaninglessness once apprehended.

This was the other interesting bit i forgot to post other than the Idaho swarm. Just two 2.7 squeakers that happen to be right on the New Madrid fault just a few miles across the river from New Madrid Missouri, which the fault is named after. Interesting for both rarity, and the fact that the New Madrid represents a significant threat of a very large, very devastating quake. There weren't any seismographs present in 1811 and 1812 when the famous New Madrid quakes happened, but at least 3 quakes somewhere between 7.2 and 8.6 occurred over a period of about two months. Designating earthquake magnitudes based on historic eye witness reports and observable remnants is dicey at best, but some geologists argue that one of those three (and thousands of aftershocks) might have been 9+ and possibly the largest ever quake on the continental US. Scientists currently are concerned that it again has that potential, and may be overdue for release.

Hubble has been an incredible instrument giving us incredible pictures almost unimaginable 30 years ago. It has now been joined by a host of new space telescopes even more powerful, which are beginning to put together even more detailed pictures and providing even more definition to our universe than Hubble has...and that is no mean feat. It's been a fascinating thing to me too...and still is. The fact it is now being joined by a host of even more powerful instruments is equally so. This is one of the most interesting quake spots on earth (my opinion) because it is not on any major fault, though very minor faults do run through this area, from Helena Montana all the way to southern Nevada. Yet EQ activity is certainly much rarer than along major fault areas. This particular swarm began about March 24th resulting in a 6.5 on March 31st, and has been throwing off significant aftershocks in the 3+ - 4+ range ever since. It's just under 100 miles NE of Boise and just over 200 miles due west of Yellowstone Lake (Yellowstone Caldera). This is not so uncommon it's interesting for rarity alone. This general area (within 300 miles) has had swarms in 2005, 2015, 2017 and a 6.9 in 1983 that did considerable damage. What does make it interesting to me is the size of the biggest quake in the series (6.5) which is pretty rare, and the frequency, intensity and longevity of the swarm, which is still throwing off 3+ - 4+ quakes just about ever day, and sometimes several a day. I haven't found any articles published by any experts reference this current swarm yet, but past swarms have been associated with magma movement, not quake faults. I speculated that might be the case, and it still seems the most likely answer. Eventually I'll find a paper where some geologists weigh in... Anyway, the shallow depth, and previous history of the area, nearness to the Yellowstone Caldera, the plausible potential for a volcanic cause....all make this one particularly interesting on my watch list.

I'm a little surprised nobody else felt that I guess you're our only LA representative. In reviewing the thread during my normal daily quake awareness excursion I realized I missed posting on one of the most interesting swarm hotspots ...near Cascade Idaho. I'll get that one added next, plus an interesting pair of small quakes on the New Madrid fault zone...

Ask the Lord what the difference is between faith and presumption You'll know what time it is....as long as you're not sure, it's not time. The only way to miss doing His will, is to resist it. In order to resist it, you must already know what it is.

Many businesses will go bankrupt before the economic issues settle. There will be a push to rebuild critical manufacturing capability globalism sent to China in the last 20 years. When capital is finally available again, and factories are built...they will be automated....AI managed, and require few people to produce goods...far fewer than will need work. And that will be an issue even if war significantly reduces the population...

a lot of people who have lost their jobs in the past two months will never work for a wage again. We've turned a corner folks....tomorrow is not going to be like yesterday.

Without entertaining any more of this slicing and dicing, the point is He HAS warned His people to come out of, separate from and cease being entangled with this idolatrous world system which He is going to judge. If we consider ourselves to be His people, and I certainly do, He bought me with a horrifically high price, which He deemed worth suffering to pay to have me as His own. However else I want to slice anything, that warning is an exhortation to ME to check up, find out just what it is I am NOT to be giving myself to and come out.....or suffer the inevitable consequences. And the consequences of failing to heed His call to come out, will eventually be suffering judgements that were never meant for me...but will be experienced by me due to disobedience. If we believe we are in Him, well and good. Those in Him can still be walking in a manner He does not approve of, has warned against, and warned of consequences if we don't heed the warning. Laodicea cannot HEAR this warning because those who are His, but lukewarm about the sin in their lives, BELIEVING they are wealthy, fat, full, having need of nothing will assume that warning applies to "others"....and will not heed it themselves. Those of us who are certain we are in good stead are the ones who most urgently need to check up...and make sure they understand exactly what that warning means...and how to obey it. His people....who are walking in places of danger.... The Church at Laodicea is HIS Church....His people. Are we Laodicea?

Ok....so you found a lot of passages where God called Israel His people. Agreed. But it doesn't eliminate the born again as His people, in fact it confirms it. It seems to me we have to account for the fulfillment of the prophecies which would include gentiles in the "one new man", His Body.....which can only mean those born again.."My people"

I certainly do. Does He call anyone else MY PEOPLE? Who else could He be speaking to?

how in the world can you put aside who He is talking to without gutting the whole warning? Who He is talking to IS the point...
