Any stories of Spirits gifts of miraculous powers
Prycejosh1987 replied to Ervin P's topic in Gifts of the Spirit
I have debated with Jewish rabbis over the words and testimony of Christ. -
How do you test the spirits?
Prycejosh1987 replied to Figure of eighty's topic in Gifts of the Spirit
We test the spirits by examining how much of the text they agree with. What reactions they have and how they implement Christ's nature into their lives. Heresy is around us. Some sects take away from scripture, and other sects add. We must examine the action testimony and character of a person to see if the way they are lines up with what the bible says. -
Basically i believe it says in preferred context that Christ suffered so we did not have to. Christ brought spiritual and emotional healing and its seen through living as a christian our reactions and action tend to be more emotionally secure. We can also see Christ as a doctor in the sense that He healed us from illnesses.

This is an easy question everyone knows about the sinner on the cross. The difference is he was about to die, to spiritually live and remain faithful throughout life requires the Holy Spirit. When Christ says without The Spirit we are not His it means true believers have the Holy Spirit, and those that do not fall away from faith in Christ at some point.

Can you pray for interpretation?
Prycejosh1987 replied to Figure of eighty's topic in Gifts of the Spirit
God was the one that said ask whatever you wish if our words remain in Him, for things to happen for us in Gospel of John. Jesus said in Gospel of Luke that God wants to give us the Holy Spirit even more than we want Him. its dangerous to receive a false interpretation gift because it would lead people astray, it all depends on the heart. I think the persons heart plays a huge part into what God offers the person spiritually. -
a good sense of COVET a command to FORBID NOT
Prycejosh1987 replied to Buddy D. Mouse's topic in Gifts of the Spirit
I think that prophesying is important being able to prophesy means that lives are changed and the implementation of the spiritual gifts are exercised. This is probably why Paul said we must covet this gift. prophesy is incredibly important for exercising goodness in believers and even non believers lives. -
Sounds like interpretation is important for knowing what is being said and more importantly being able to spot truth from a faker.

Sounds to me like you value children alot. I will say when it comes to faith we cannot let people go first, people going first are putting them before our faith in God. Dreams tend to have very real meanings and are relatable to reality. Its just there is alot of symbolism in them.

I believe i have the gift to teach. I cannot perform miracles and can rarely cast out demons. I received this gift through studying the bible, I am not a scholar but i have debated with scholars before about parts of the text. I prayed to understand the bible because before i just saw it as a bunch of stories, i couldnt not see the logical symbolism between what is said and apply it to my life. But i can now. I believe God gave me that gift.

Experience creates ability. The difference between gifts earned and gifts given are based on the giver. Relationships with God make the difference. Always. We must look on the intent of the heart to judge whether we are given the gifts by God or earned them through experience. Genuine works are spiritualised. Non genuine works are short lived and expose spiritual weakness.

Paul goes on to say that speaking in tongues is only good when someone can interpret them. I agree the fruits of the spirit, matter more than speaking in tongues, i shook the Holy Spirit in bible service and thought i received Him because i spoke on tongues in that moment, but weeks later i manifested with demons. The gifts and fruits of The Spirit and His guidance from scripture matter more than all other aspects of The Holy Spirit.

Protection Under the Wings of GOD = Ruth 2;12, Psalm 91;4, Luke 13;34
Prycejosh1987 replied to MizKJVOnly's topic in Theology
Analogical symbolic interpretation of wings. I do not believe God has wings but i do believe we can trust in Him and He will protect us and fly us to safety. Gods reward is believers in Christ. -
Christ is new, and law was the old.

This all points to the Rock, Christ. We should base our selves on Christ, He is the essence of spirituality and divine intervention and the complete standard. Christ says we should build the house on the rock, and to me the wind and waves are problems which effect our spiritual growth and the Rock is trusting and believing in Christ in a pure way.

The Prophecies Of Jesus That Already Came True = Matthew 24;1-2
Prycejosh1987 replied to MizKJVOnly's topic in Theology
Jesus Christ is the messiah that much is clear, to perform miracles, know the future, and raise from death, says it all for me. -
File Your Taxes The Way JESUS Said To Do = Luke 20;21-25

The government are important but so is God and Jesus is saying that we should obey God like we obey authorities and the government. -
Wars and Rumors of Wars = Matthew 24;6-8, James 4;1-2
Prycejosh1987 replied to MizKJVOnly's topic in Theology
The beginning of sorrows not the end, as many people think they are. Take note of that. We must read context and interpretation of the words of Christ. -
Beseech The LORD = Numbers 12;13, Isaiah 38;1-5, Luke 9;38-39,42
Prycejosh1987 replied to MizKJVOnly's topic in Theology
It shows to us the power of prayer and the importance of being ready for death to meet God. Those that do not care about God are worried about dying and do everything they can to stay alive, but death is everything to a believer not to purposely kill themselves but to purposely focus on eternity with God. -
JESUS > The Messiah/The Holy One = Daniel 9;25-26, John 1;41-42
Prycejosh1987 replied to MizKJVOnly's topic in Theology
Holy One is in capitals, this suggests to me that its a prophecy on Jesus Christ. Who is sinless and will never go to hell itself. I believe the first part of the verse is talking about not having a bad life full of problems. hell on earth is problems we face which emotionally wear us out. Because it says after men die once than the judgement. So it wouldnt be talking about literal afterlife hell. -
The church is the people, not the building. If family members meet at houses and pray together thats church. A building is just place where people meet, but people meet at a bar, or pub, it doesnt entirely make them all alcoholics. The same is true for church, friends are made through relationships and so is the church.

My answer is that Jesus said why My God have You forsaken Me, because He was proving and showing that sin separates us from God. He was also showing human emotion, and showing importance to have God with us until we die. The brutality of the beatings and death itself did not worry Jesus, it was being forsaken by God. This is a lesson to us all.

The LAST DAY = Micah 4;1-2, John 6;44, II Peter 3;3-10
Prycejosh1987 replied to MizKJVOnly's topic in Theology
A more spiritually indepth version of John 3.16, which everyone knows even atheists. Its more prophetic than John 3.16 aswell.
