Do you ever feel like people are influenced by dark forces to...

I believe that their pets may also act up. Just an observation. -
I've learned that thanking God daily brings me closer to him

I've come to the conclusion recently that it is very important to have hope in Jesus' return and a future in which holiness and righteousness dwells supreme. Where there is no vision the people perish. -

I have found that the easiest way to begin praying is through thanksgiving. Fighting through the mental block(s) is not something I succeed at often, lately. Perseverance is a difficult attribute in the decadent West. -
How about Proverbs 6:16-19? (ESV) There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.

Oxygen is part of the God created world and you choose to elevate it to a god by declaring it divine. How familiar are you really with scriptures?

Satan may view humanity as competition. Think of the business world as an example. The very foundations of business is based upon human greed, which is a satanic value and thus part of our sin nature. Businesses compete with each other and have no objection to using any available means to destroy the competition. The children of wrath - the unconverted -accept this nature as natural and part of life. Cooperation is much more difficult for those under the sway of Satan and his minions. Ezekiel 28 and Isaiah 14 will expound upon his character.

Look for the presence of the Spirit in your life

Even a hermit can find ways to be useful to others. Who am I to judge the servant of another? Some people may be so damaged they may need to work on themselves before being of any use to others. -
Want to be fascinated by something? View Christian, Dr. Kurt Wise's video on YT titled: How does DNA uncover a Biblical History of Humankind? Just shy of over 25 minutes long.

Science also cannot define consciousness, energy or gravity. To be able to make use of something doesn't necessarily define what it is.

Nobody grows as a Christian without the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Growth can also happen at home! -
A fine reason to financially support a Christian outreach program!

Luther, you quote my post but I'm failing to see a connection. Please enlighten me.

The mixing of paganism with Christianity is probably viewed as defilement by God Almighty as it was by the nation of Israel in the wilderness after leaving Egypt. That first generation perished in the wilderness for rebellion and idolatry, and in the N.T. it's stated that their sins are an example for us today in the church era. Recall also that God is the same today as He was yesterday and will also be tomorrow. Why be a rebel?

No Problem, just curious about West Virginia
D. Adrien replied to Neighbor's topic in Do you want to just ask a question?
The following is what I discovered in a query: Coal-fired Power Plants: West Virginia has historically been a major coal-producing state, and as a result, many of its power plants are coal-fired. However, the cost of operating these plants can be high, particularly when compared to other forms of energy production such as natural gas or renewable energy sources. Energy Mix: The energy mix in West Virginia is primarily composed of coal, with some natural gas and renewable energy sources. This mix can contribute to higher energy costs, as coal-fired power plants are often more expensive to operate than other forms of energy production. Comparison to Other States: Compared to other states, such as Virginia, West Virginia’s energy costs may be higher due to its reliance on coal-fired power plants. Virginia, for example, has a more diversified energy mix, with a greater emphasis on natural gas and renewable energy sources, which can help to reduce energy costs. I live in small Virginia city that has its own power generation plant and provides the residents with a very affordable energy cost. The larger city next door has much higher rates and fees. Something to consider. -
I've listened to many of his sermons online. I wish the audio was better though. I've always been impressed by his zeal and the approach he used which isn't heard now-a-days. Thanks for reminding me!

I do feel lukewarm about it though.

God won't bless degeneracy. Individuals that walk with Him? Indeed.

Israel means, one who strives with God. Jacob was named after wrestling with God all night. Apparently, the Eternal is not impressed with yes men. :)
