  1. That would make Jesus statement false for saying he would be dead and buried 3 day and 3 nights...and it does not matter if your following the Jewish definition of a day that starts at sundown or current day that starts at midnight. You still need three days and three nights. By way I don't believe Jesus was crucified on Friday but on the Preparation day before the Passover which would have been on a Wednesday or Thursday based on the Jewish calendar for that year. The first day of the Passover is treated like a Sabbath meaning their is a Preparation day prior to the first day of Passover.
  2. Because Jesus had to be dead and buried for 3 full days according to his own words: 3 days and 3 nights (For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. [Mat 12:40 KJV]) and not partial days as you seem to suggest. So according to easter tradition he was placed in the tomb on Friday evening, so Saturday evening would be the first full day, Sunday evening the second full day, Monday evening the 3rd full day.
  3. What part do you disagree? How do you interpret those scriptures, otherwise? I understand that there are some bad marriages out there but that still does not overthrow the institute of marriage that God created. Each man and women will have to answer for their actions be it good or evil. I am sure we can all find hypotheticals and emotional based arguments to say otherwise, but at the end of the day God's word still stands true.
  4. It is obvious the stance from the bible regarding women submitting themselves to a godly husband. The question is, should a women submit themselves also if they are married to unbeliever who does not submit to Christ? Well I think the bible addresses this as well. First of all, The bible says we are not to be equally yoked with unbelievers, but their are situations where a spouse becomes a believer after they were married. What does the bible say in this situation? And a woman who has a husband who does not believe, if he is willing to live with her, let her not divorce him. For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband; otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy. But if the unbeliever departs, let him depart; a brother or a sister is not under bondage in such [cases]. But God has called us to peace. For how do you know, O wife, whether you will save [your] husband? Or how do you know, O husband, whether you will save [your] wife? [1Co 7:13-16 NKJV] Be subject for the Lord's sake to every human institution, whether it be to the emperor as supreme, ... Servants, be subject to your masters with all respect, not only to the good and gentle but also to the unjust...Likewise, wives, be subject to your own husbands, so that even if some do not obey the word, they may be won without a word by the conduct of their wives, [1Pe 3:1 -1Pe 2:13, 18 ]
  5. Kingdom of God and Kingdom of Heaven are interchangeable. You will find places in the scriptures where one author will use Kingdom of Heaven and another author choosing to use Kingdom of God to describe the same quotes from Jesus. Compare the following example: And Jesus said to His disciples, “Truly I say to you, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” Matthew 19:23-24 (NASB) And Jesus looked at him and said, “How hard it is for those who are wealthy to enter the kingdom of God! For it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” Luke 18:24-25 (NASB) Here are few more examples: He answered and said unto them, “Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.” Matthew 13:11 (NASB) And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: Mark 4:11 (NASB) -- He presented another parable to them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed . . . Matthew 13:31 (NASB) And He said, “How shall we picture the kingdom of God . . . It is like a mustard seed . . . Mark 4:30-31 (NASB)
  6. So, why don't you explain the different forms slavery listed in the bible that God permits, so we can all be clear?
  7. Then add in the fact that Jesus could not have been raised on easter Sunday morning given the following: If he was crucified on good Friday and buried that night. That would make Saturday night the first full day in the tomb. Sunday night would be the 2nd full day in the tomb. Monday night would be the third full day in the tomb. Otherwise that would make the following quote from Jesus inaccurate: For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. [Mat 12:40 KJV]
  8. She was in the right because God had already spoke to her that Jacob was going to receive the blessing instead of Esau. And not only so, but also when Rebekah had conceived children by one man, our forefather Isaac, though they were not yet born and had done nothing either good or bad...she was told, "The older will serve the younger." As it is written, "Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated." [Rom 9:10-13] And Isaac prayed to the LORD for his wife, because she was barren. And the LORD granted his prayer, and Rebekah his wife conceived. The children struggled together within her, and she said, "If it is thus, why is this happening to me?" So she went to inquire of the LORD. And the LORD said to her, "Two nations are in your womb, and two peoples from within you shall be divided; the one shall be stronger than the other, the older shall serve the younger." [Gen 25:21-23 ESV] Plus, Esau sold his birth right to Jacob. She was being obedient to God. And yes she could have prayed for God to intervene but often chooses to work though people. In the same way David could have prayed for God to defeat Goliath without ever facing Goliath in battle but that was not the case.
  9. I think I agree with your statements. I also feel most church's are misusing money. Most church's have a big budget for their staff pay, big budget for their facility, and big budget for future facility plans, but then have a tiny or no budget for evangelism, and the same for taking care of the poor. I think churches should have a full disclosure of where the money goes posted out front so everyone in their church can see where the tithes and offerings goes.
  10. Both the husband the wife have an obligation to obey God first. Also, both the husband and wife should value and honor each other as God intended. When it comes to obedience a wife should respect and honor her husbands request as long as they are within God's will and commandments. God always comes first. A good example of this type of disobedience is Isaac and Rebeka. Isaac wanted to bless Esau his firstborn but Rebeka knew that God intended to bless Jacob and therefor misled and even disobeyed Isaac's wishes to ensure the blessing went to Jacob as God intended.
  11. I am sure this topic is going to go well in this generation.
  12. In your world view you think slavery and love can not coexist, but that is not how God viewed it. Read the following: For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land. [And] if thy brother, an Hebrew man, or an Hebrew woman, be sold unto thee, and serve thee six years; then in the seventh year thou shalt let him go free from thee. And when thou sendest him out free from thee, thou shalt not let him go away empty: Thou shalt furnish him liberally out of thy flock, and out of thy floor, and out of thy winepress: [of that] wherewith the LORD thy God hath blessed thee thou shalt give unto him. And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt, and the LORD thy God redeemed thee: therefore I command thee this thing to day. And it shall be, if he say unto thee, I will not go away from thee; because he loveth thee and thine house, because he is well with thee; Then thou shalt take an aul, and thrust [it] through his ear unto the door, and he shall be thy servant for ever. And also unto thy maidservant thou shalt do likewise. It shall not seem hard unto thee, when thou sendest him away free from thee; for he hath been worth a double hired servant [to thee], in serving thee six years: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all that thou doest. [Deu 15:11-18 KJV]
  13. You are not making any sense?? Joseph did not impregnate Mary, it says that she was impregnated by the Holy Spirit (God). So, Joseph is not the biological father. This means the human side of Jesus' DNA came from his mother. The other half of his DNA came from God. This is why he is both Son of Man and Son of God.
  14. Not sure what your asking?? Joseph was not the biological father of Jesus. Jesus human bloodline comes through his mother.
  15. I was put in a similar situation being that I worked as contractor for the military. Initial they said all contractors were exempt from the covid vaccine mandate but later changed their stance and said any employee including contractors are required to get vaccinated to retain employment. So I did the religious exemption but was denied by the commander of the organization. Then was given an ultimatum to get the vaccine or be terminated so I walked out the door and never came back. I regret walking out the door I should have forced them to fire me so that I could have brought a legal case against them.
  16. You stated Abraham nor his ancestors worshiped idols. I simply showed you that was incorrect and gave you the verse that stated otherwise. What further clarification do you need? Joshua 24:2 And Joshua said to all the people, Thus said the LORD God of Israel, Your fathers dwelled on the other side of the flood in old time, even Terah, the father of Abraham, and the father of Nachor: and they served other gods.
  17. The truth is there is no organization out there called Christian Nationalism well at least in the US. This is a strawman created by the left to label politicians and supporters who hold and fight for Christian values. Yes, some of them have accepted this label but its not an official organization.
  18. So Paul says God is wrong on slavery???
  19. Terah Abrahams father did worship idols. Joshua 24:2 And Joshua said to all the people, Thus said the LORD God of Israel, Your fathers dwelled on the other side of the flood in old time, even Terah, the father of Abraham, and the father of Nachor: and they served other gods. There are many Jewish historic books and ancient manuscripts that tells how Terah Abraham's father was an Idol maker.
  20. Also division happens based on God's word...his truth. When people do not accept truth it divides people. Jesus said is he is the Truth and his word is Truth. "Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. And a person's enemies will be those of his own household. Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. [Mat 10:34-37]
  21. I am finding more and more that if you want to know the truth of a matter just believe the opposite of how mainstream media wants you to view that matter.
  22. I believe my mother died from the vaccine. Within a few months after my mom got her first vaccine she developed blood clots all over her lungs and barely survived and was placed on permanent oxygen. We did research about Covid vaccine one of the concerns was blood clots in the lungs especially elderly people. We asked the doctors at the time if this may have been due the vaccine and the doctor quickly dismissed it but still could not give us an clear explanation of what caused the blood clots. Well, my mother eventually was released from the hospital but died within a short span due the complications with her lungs and low oxygen intake levels.
  23. Its true that his Son died for all, but only few are going to be saved and make it into his Kingdom. Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, Strive [work fervently] to enter in at the strait [narrow] gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all [ye] workers of iniquity. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you [yourselves] thrust out. [Luk 13:23-28]
  24. Here is the UK law on religious freedom: The right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion this right includes freedom to change his religion or belief and freedom, either alone or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest his religion or belief, in worship, teaching, practice and observance[…] The freedom to manifest one's religion or beliefs shall be subject only to such limitations as are prescribed by law and are necessary in a democratic society in the interests of public safety, for the protection of public order, health or morals, or for the protection of the rights and freedoms of others. Notice that government puts several limitation in place on religions freedoms such limitations prescribed by law, public safety, public order, health or morals, protection of rights and freedoms of others, etc... Those all may seem fair and legitimate to religious freedoms on the surface, but at any time UK law enforcements could use and any of these limitations such of public safety, public order, health and moral, protection of rights of others as factors to arrest and shut down religious freedoms. For example if a Church teaches that abortions is wrong well they could easily say your violating public order, mental health and moral, public safety, rights and freedoms of those seeking an abortion, and can shut you down and or arrest you at any given time. This same goes for any topic that government wants to enforce on a church or its members, be it abortion, COVID, teachings about other religions, homosexuality, public preaching, etc... Notice the contrast of the US constitution that says "congress shall make no law" regarding religion and the exercise thereof.
  25. You know that phrase 'separation of Church and State' is found no where in our constitution? However the constitution does state congress shall make no law regarding the establishment of religion and the exercise there of. Meaning that congress (law makers) are not allowed to govern religious freedoms and the exercise there of. This is what allows for freedom OF religion not freedom FROM religion.
