Nice song but found no where in scriptures, but I do believe it is God who leads us to repentance. The Holy Spirit convicts us of our sins and leads us to repentance, forgiveness, and salvation. It is the goodness of God that leads us to repentance. The Lord is not slack concerning [His] promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. - 2Pe 3:9

New Testament Great Commission is this: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. - Luk 24:47 KJV

Yes, but I would rather keep him as Governor of Florida. He is doing a great job for the free people of Florida.

Amen! It teaches that the foolish virgins did not bring enough oil to last the night and their lamps ran out of oil. The wise virgins brought extra oil so that they would be ready when he returned even if the groom did not return as they were expecting. Why didn't the foolish virgins bring extra oil so they would be ready for his return? Maybe they believed the groom would come sooner than they were expecting and were not prepared to endure the long night and when he did not return as they were expecting, they ran out of oil. The bible teaches when tribulation and persecution arise, those who are not grounded will fall away. Jesus speaks about in Mat 24 a massive falling away when tribulation arises. The love of many will turn cold and against one another. Why such a mass falling away? Because they were deceived and they were not prepared spiritually to endure until his coming. "Then they will hand you over to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name. "And at that time many will fall away, and they will betray one another and hate one another. "And many false prophets will rise up and mislead many people. "And because lawlessness is increased, most people's love will become cold. "But the one who endures to the end is the one who will be saved. - Mat 24:9-13

It tells you what the food will be: Then I saw a single angel standing in the sun, and with a loud voice he shouted to all the birds that fly in midheaven, saying, "Come, gather together for the great supper of God, so that you may feast on the flesh of kings, the flesh of commanders, the flesh of powerful and mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all humanity, both free men and slaves, both small and great [in a complete conquest of evil]." Then I saw the beast and the kings and political leaders of the earth with their armies gathered to make war against Him who is mounted on the [white] horse and against His army. - Rev 19:17-19 AMP

How do you get the Marriage Supper of the the Lamb will happen before the tribulation? The Marriage Super of the Lamb happens at the 2nd coming at the 7th trumpet when died will be raised and those that are still alive will be meet him in the air/sky at his coming. This happens at the 7th trumpet and just before the wrath of God (seven bowls of wrath) is unleashed on the Beast and his followers.

All three of the parables (Lost Sheep, Lost Coin, Lost Son) were about repentance and returning to God and about how there will much joy in heaven over one sinner that repents vs. all the others that need no repentance. Lets be real, we both know why you reject Jesus words and teachings as if they do not apply to you today and why you twist his words to mean something completely different. Are you a follower of Christ or is someone else your Messiah? "If anyone hears My words and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge and condemn the world [that is, to initiate the final judgment of the world], but to save the world. "Whoever rejects Me and refuses to accept My teachings, has one who judges him; the very word that I spoke will judge and condemn him on the last day. - Jhn 12:47-48

Hmmm??? What do you mean there was no repentance under the Law. There is repentance under the Old Covenant and New Covenant. Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn [yourselves] from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin. - Eze 18:30 KJV Again, when the wicked [man] turneth away from his wickedness that he hath committed, and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soul alive. - Eze 18:27 NT Great Commission: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. - Luk 24:47 [Paul] Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. - Act 20:21
-
I appreciate the way you think but you are trying to create connections that are not there. If you read Luk 15 in context, first you got the Lost Sheep parable, next you got the Lost Coin parable, and lastly the Lost Son parable (aka Prodigal Son) and then concludes and connects each one of those parables with a similar summary about how there will be much joy over one sinner that repents and returns to God over than the rest that never departed.

The term "church" also referred to Israel. This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and [with] our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us: - Act 7:38 Church refers to the Assembly of God's people. Another word for church means Congregation of God's people, both of which are found all over the OT referring to Israel or God's people. Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly [church] of the congregation [church] of the children of Israel. - Num 14:5 I am not saying unbelieving Jews are apart of the Assembly of God because the bible clearly teaches you can be cut off from the Assembly though unbelief and disobedience to his teachings. Seven days shall there be no leaven found in your houses; for whoever eateth what is leavened -- that soul shall be cut off from the assembly of Israel, whether he be a sojourner, or born in the land. - Exo 12:19 Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear. For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either. ... And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. - Rom 11:20-21, 23 So the true Church or Assembly of God are believing Jews and believing gentiles together as one body.

I don't feel God is transforming me inside out...
Jedi4Yahweh replied to Figure of eighty's topic in General Discussion
Don't give up. Seek God with all your heart, mind and strength. God puts us sometimes in dry lands to test us and see if we will remain true to him and rely on him. A fruit trees needs both sunlight and periods of darkness to grow and produce fruit. Let these scriptures instruct and comfort you: Blessed [is] the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight [is] in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. The ungodly [are] not so: but [are] like the chaff which the wind driveth away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish. - Psa 1:1-6 KJV -
Trump did not make that decision, it was a Supreme Court decision. Yes, it is a hot topic and for a good reason why the Supreme Court decided this issue is not something they should be making and that it should be a state and local decision. Although I am against abortion, this was a good move in the right direction over turning Roe vs. Wade and giving this issue back to the people to decide. So what is your take on abortion?

One of the key features that stands out to me in this parable is the states his son went through after he left his Father and turned to a life of sin and the state he was restored to when he returned. Its clear from the story his son once had a rightful relationship with is Father but decided on his own to leave and fell into a life of sinful living and destitution and later realized his fallen sinful state and said this, "I will arise and go to my father and say, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, And am no longer worthy to be called your son: make me as one of your hired servants." Notice it says that he made the decision to arise and go back to his Father and while he was a great way off his Father saw him coming and ran to him and had compassion on him and restored him to his rightful place as son. Notice what the Father said of his son, "For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry. Notice it says that he was dead and now alive again meaning he was once alive but died but now alive again. Meaning he was alive but died when he left his father and chose a life of sin but when he decided to leave this sinful life and return, the Father had compassion/mercy on him and made him alive again. When someone backslides, leaves the Father, and falls away into sinful life we become spiritually dead, yet there is still hope if we come to ourselves and realize our fallen state and make a decision to leave that sinful life and return to the Father and yet while we are still far away he will see us coming and restore us and make us alive again in his Family. As scriptures says, draw near to God and he will draw near to you. In the same way, there is more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God than over ninety-nine others who are righteous and haven't strayed away! - Luk 15:7

YHWH is God's personal name. The words 'The LORD' is a title rather than a personal name. Translators used a completely different word & meaning, and converted his personal name to a title 'The LORD'. They had their reasons for doing this as I already explained. If your okay with it then enjoy. Proper personal names in most cases are not retranslated into other languages. For instance Abraham is a Hebrew name. Moses or Moseh is a Hebrew name. Adam is a Hebrew name. Israel or Ysrael is a Hebrew name. Jacob or Yacob is a Hebrew name. Joshua or Yahoshua is a Hebrew name. Likewise God's personal name is a Hebrew name and does not need retranslated. Yes there maybe small variations in spelling and pronunciation but still Hebrew and yes they may use English letters and instead of Hebrew charters but still true to the spelling, meaning, and pronunciation. Except when it comes to the personal name of God. I will sanctify (purify) my great name, which has been profaned (polluted/defiled) among the nations [gentiles], which you [Israel] have profaned (polluted/defiled) in the midst of them; and the nations [gentiles] shall know that I am YHWH, says YHWH Elohim, when I shall be sanctified (made pure) in you before their eyes. - Eze 36:23 I thought I already explained this.

No she called him Adon. Look I am not condemning the use of the term 'The LORD' am just saying it was strange to intentionally mistranslate YHWH as 'The LORD' over 7000 times being the YHWH is the personal name of God and not a title where as Lord is a title that can have many meaning to include Baal. Lord is an English term that refers to master, owner, ruler, governor, teacher. Some of the Jewish-English translation bibles i use simply revert "The LORD" back to "YHWH" and I am perfectly fine with that. Adon = reference to human masters, husbands, owners, in English lord. Adonai = A reference to God as master or owner or ruler, in english lord. Baal = also means Lord but in reference to a Canaanite Deity.

The key to receiving is asking according to his will. Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions [the request] that we have asked of Him. - 1Jo 5:14-15 As a good parent, you do not give everything your child ask for, because not everything a child ask for is good for the child nor his parents...but if we know what our parents want us to have then all we have to do is ask and they will be glad and excited to give you what you asked for. The other key to receiving from God is asking in faith. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; [he is] a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. - Jas 1:6-8 God told Israel to go and possess the land the he had promised them. Israel sent out 12 spies to check out the land before they came in. Ten came back with negative and doubtful report of which caused the people of Israel to doubt God. So even though God promised them they would take the Land they were not allowed to enter it because of their doubt, except Joshua and Caleb who came back with a positive report that we are able to take the land.

God is a title...but God does have a personal name: YHWH or YHVH Moreover God said to Moses, "Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: 'The LORD YHWH God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This [is] My name forever, and this [is] My memorial to all generations.' - Exo 3:15 Pretty much every where you see in Old Testament Scripture the words 'The LORD' it is a intentional mistranslation of 'YHWH'. This is done over 7000 times where YHWH is replaced with 'The LORD'. The word 'LORD' in Hebrew means 'Baal' which is a rather odd pick for a replacement. The reason it is mistranslated is because the source Hebrew scriptures intentionally took out the vows out the true name and or replaced his name with the Hebrew word 'Hashem' meaning the 'The Name', because they thought God's name should not be written or spoken. In doing so they have lost the vows that were original apart of YHWH. So today people have attempted to reconstruct that name and now we got so many variations of what people think that name should be: Yahovah, Yahwah, Yahawah, Yahowah, Yahuwah, Yahavah, etc.... We do know for sure that the first vow is correct in Yah... everything else is up for speculation. Sing to God, sing praises to His name; Extol Him who rides on the clouds, By His name YAH, And rejoice before Him. - Psa 68:4 Hope that helps

That is a pretty degrading view of immigrants. You do know that many immigrants are doctors, lawyers, professors, leaders in communities and government. Not all immigrants are restroom works and fruit pickers. Yes, illegal immigrants may fill many of those roles due to their illegal status. So lets differentiate between legal immigrants from those who have illegally entered and are working illegally and taking advantage of jobs, welfare, schools, social, health services that tax payers are funding.

Tribulation of Saints Continues to Spread and Intensify
Jedi4Yahweh replied to BornAgain490's topic in General Discussion
I never said Christians were not apart to the Tribulation, but contrary. My point was that Christians are promised tribulation presently and in the future during the Great Tribulation. There will be Christians during the Great Tribulation. In fact, John said there will be so many that no man could number them that came out of the Great Tribulation. You can not come out of something that you were never in. Notice: The tribes of Israel could be numbered (144,000) but not the number of believers from all the nations, they were innumerable that came out of Great Tribulation. -
Tribulation of Saints Continues to Spread and Intensify
Jedi4Yahweh replied to BornAgain490's topic in General Discussion
Where does the bible say that? All Christians are promised tribulation. "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." - Jhn 16:33 -
Roman Catholics teach the doctrine of The Perpetual Virginity of Mary teaching that Mary remained a virgin, had no children, or sexual relations with Joseph after the birth of Christ and that Mary remains the Blessed Virgin forever. They teach that Joseph had a previous marriage and begot children prior to his marriage to Mary and so the brothers and sisters of Christ were actually half-brothers or step-children of Joseph from a previous marriage. They also teach that Mary is divine and if she would have had any other children they would also be divine children like Christ. Hence, why they call her, "The Mother of God" and "Queen of Heaven". Note the term "half brother" was used by St. Jerome referring to Joseph's children from a prior marriage. St. Jerome has been accredited as the origins of the doctrine of Perpetual Virginity of Mary. Today technically they would be called step-children. The truth is Mary had other children with Joseph and the doctrine of Perpetual Virginity is a clearly false to deify Mary as the source of Christ divinity. There are no scriptures that support that Joseph had a prior marriage or children prior to his marriage to Mary and the birth of Christ. Then Joseph, being aroused from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord commanded him and took to him his wife, and did not know her till she had brought forth her firstborn Son. And he called His name JESUS. - Mat 1:24-25 "Is this not the carpenter's son? Is not His mother called Mary? And His brothers James, Joses, Simon, and Judas? "And His sisters, are they not all with us? Where then did this [Man] get all these things?" - Mat 13:55-56 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers. - Act 1:14 Today I still hear protestant ministers still pushing the RC lie that Joseph had a previous marriage and that his brothers and sisters are from a previous marriage with no biblical or historical evidence. And I also hear ministers using the term half-brothers and sisters of Christ saying "Joseph was not the actual father so therefor they are half-brothers and sisters". Any children born from Mary and Joseph's marriage would have been known simply as Jesus's brother and sisters by the people who knew them and not half-brothers and sisters (as seen in the scriptures), although technically true Joseph was not Jesus's biological father. So why continue to add confusion and feeding into the RC narrative.

Bible Study or Meditating on Scripture...
Jedi4Yahweh replied to Indentured Servant's topic in Bible Study
The hebrew word for meditate (siyach) means to: speak, mutter, commune, ponder, to sing, to put forth. This is why you see people in orthodox Jewish synagogues, when they read from God's word they are singing God's word as they read it aloud in a congregation. Mutter also means to speak under ones breath. So speaking God's word aloud under your breath as you read God word in your personal time. I personally quietly speak God's word aloud as I read the scriptures. The bible mentions that faith comes by hearing the word of God. -
Yes, they have an ungodly amount of lobbying power and bought out many politicians and big media. There needs to be laws enforced that prevent large companies from using their money to influence government decisions against the will of the people, but the people who can passes these laws are the ones who are taking their money.
-
Agreed with one exception. Government will not be taking over pharmaceutical companies. They may pass some regulations with the help of congress and maybe some presidential executive orders, but not a government take over of private companies.

Amen. The new man Paul was referring to is the new body of both believing Jews and believing Gentiles. Gentiles are no longer alienated from the promises that were given only to Israel, because in Christ he has made us one new man made up of both Jew and Gentile. The New Covenant was only promised to Israel not to Gentiles (Jer 31:31-34), but in Christ gentiles are made part to the New Covenant. The Bride is the body of Christ made up both Jew and Gentile joined together as one body. The dispensationalist doctrine that separates Jew and Gentile is entirely unbiblical under the New Covenant. God's has made one new body, one people, one church, one hope, which is made up of both believing Jews and believing Gentiles together. Notice it says in times past you were Gentiles...if you are in Christ you are no longer an uncircumcision/covenanted/strangers/foreigners/gentiles, you are now citizens of the commonwealth of Israel. Wherefore remember, that ye [being] in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition [between us]; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, [even] the law of commandments [contained] in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, [so] making peace; And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: - Eph 2:11-16 KJV
