Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. The reason I don't is because the church has the pew Bible which is the one that is preached from and my Bible although good has different wording so I prefer to follow the church sermon with church pew Bible and than double check my Bible at home.

my understanding is weather its social drinking or drinking to get drunk and you can not stop than your probably adicted to drinking. You don't have to get drunk to be an alcholholic even though that is what most people think about when it comes to drinking.

Where do you seek comfort? Good Day one bad event. I know I'm suppose to seek comfort from the Lord but immediatly bad news or one bad event ruins the day I don't seek him first. What I seek first is comfort food. A gallon of my favorite ice cream, bag of chips, bag of cookies, or take myself out for binge food. OR The first thing I seek is to feed one of my other addictive bad habits and all I do is feel guilty later. Even though the negative comfort brings temporary relief now I feel bad about two things. What are positive ways to seek comfort? How do you avoid falling into temptation when one event ruins your day? I think this might be the wrong room so move it if it needs to be.

I heard they caught the gun man on the 10PM news they are not realsing his name yet but as much wrong as he did whatever his name is he and his family need prayers too. Also pray for the victims in to incendent and for their families. May God Bless them all.

OK I missed the point and I'm still missing it. No I have never studied or learned a lot about the KKK except how bad they were. Yes the south may have been mostly baptist but they were not the only denomination of the south. So I don't know how you can focus on one denomination for the KKK. Can you link me to some web-site or historical book that documents what you are indicating to be true historically. I don't doubt that they had some part but to claim they had the whole part is hard for me to believe. Also I don't think your facts are to far from the the truth either but I would like to see it and read it somewhere on historical document other than based on what you are saying alone.

I was just suggesting that those were some of the scriptures they use. It does not convince me either but you can do whole lot when you decide to twist the truth.

Where is the proof for this comment? What kind of "proof" do you want? I know the churches in my area, and I know all of the larger predominantly black churches are Baptist. I don't know of any "studies" or "surveys" I can cite, if that's what you want. Or were you asking for proof of my confusion? That would be this: . Oh, but I guess I told you that already. I don't mean to be flippant, I just don't know what you're asking for ! I never heard that the Baptist were supporters of the KKK I just wanted to know where that information came from?
