  1. I guess I've missed out on alot in the last 6-7 years. We have a tv but just a dvd player hooked up and all is good. Unless I turn on the pc..... I have no idea if its even going to rain tomorrow.
  2. What if it had something to do with cleanliness/holiness? I interpret this as Jesus telling Mary that even though joyful and excited, He still had much business with the Father. He knew her sorrow and showed compassion by showing up to cheer her up. But didn't need to delay in His business with the Father.
  3. Maranatha! Amen. Revelation 6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? 11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled. Our brothers and sisters in Christ face increasing persecution every day, but its only for a little season compared with eternity.

    Is Jesus Yahweh?

Is Jesus Christ God? Simple question, please answer if you will. If you dont wish to answer please let us know why......
  5. Amen! Philippians 2:14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings: 15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; 2 Peter 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. 14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
  6. And you WILL, Marnie. I think we will hear Marnie shouting and singing praises of joy all across heaven.....thats gota be far across heaven....thats gota be lots of joy.
  7. I've read somewhere before that its reached a point to where only sound remains as the smallest thing. Don't ask me to post where I've read this as it was months ago but I thought it was interesting non the less. Genesis 1:3 And God said,

  9. I believe they will be well aware of their unforgiven sins. John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. The presence of our Lord Jesus Christ in all His glory will reveal even whats thought to be hidden. 1 Corinthians 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God. His pure Holiness will bring shame upon the sinner. Only in Him can we have no shame. 1 John 2:28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
  10. Amen, Everyone will see Jesus for who He is....for many it will be to late to suddenly have a change of heart. For the only carpenter certified to change the heart will no longer be available. Philippians 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
  11. Ooo but it does matter. Matthew 4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
  12. Matthew 11:25 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, Matthew 28: 18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Could you please explain who you believe has the power over both heaven and earth as God.
  13. I think if we listen to the Spirit he will let us know when, how much, and who to give to. Let me give you a story of how the Holy Spirit taught me a lesson of how given something simple as a bottle of water can bring joy and love. I was out riding my streetbike enjoying my time alone with the Lord. The day was hot and humid and I was riding some back roads so I got on the main highway to head back to town. I was about 11 miles out from town when I passed by an elder lady pulling a wagon filled with empty jugs. I felt the Holy Spirit telling me to go back. I kept going and again I felt strongly the need to go back so I turned around and went back. I pulled over and at first she seemed worried (maybe I was this outlaw biker....the flames painted on my bike? ) I asked her if there was anything I could do to help, she asked if I had some rope to tie the wagon behind my bike because she was heading to town to get some water. 11 miles out, walking down the highway in heat probably close to 100 degrees. I told her to wait there and I would be back in my truck. I went to the house got my truck and came back and to my surprise she had already walked another mile or two toward town. I loaded the wagon and jugs in the back and she told me which gas station to carry her to that had a water hose. I pulled up to the hose ready to fill the jugs and she told me to wait until she went and got permission from the worker in the station. I went with her and told the worker I would pay if needed for the water and the lady said it was fine to get what we wanted. As I was filling the jugs I looked at the ice cooler that I keep in the back of my truck and it was filled with a case of ice cold bottle water that I usually keep on ice. I thought to myself wow how much more does the Lord bless us with. I gave her the bottles of water that I had and she chugged one down right there. I took her back to where she lived and it was nothing more than a camper with no electricity or water. We got to talking as I unloaded the wagon and she asked why I was doing this for her. I told her that Jesus wants her to know that he cares....she stared at the ground in a daze for a minute then asked if I would pray for her....which I did. She gave me a hug and I handed her whatever amount of money I had in my wallet, she thanked me and I was on my way. That day the Lord used both I for her and her for I to show me the need to love and help others through His love. I felt a joy and love in my heart as drove home that caused me to laugh and give praise to the Lord. I tell you...our God is amazing!
  14. 2 Corinthians 9:6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. 7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: 9 (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever. Theres a few verses which come to mind. I've seen some who's generosity cuts into my heart because they're so willing to give yet not having much. You can see the joy on their face. Then I personally know of friends who gives cheerfully and I've watched God simply pour more blessings on them than they can handle. They turn around and give it cheerfully. Its amazing how God can work no matter what 'material level' we might label ourselves at.
  15. justaguy, I trust my wife with my life... because she has shown me that she loves me. Yet I don't trust her with my life after death in case there is such a thing, because I don't trust that she has no more power over death than I do. I trust Jesus with my life after death, because he has shown me that he loves me, claimed power over death and hasn't yet been proven wrong by the words he spoke and the actions he took. Lets say that Jesus faked the world out like no man in history has ever done, and there is no heaven or hell after trusting Him for the rest of my life. Why I haven't lost a thing when I die.... I will never know that I ever existed. Everything that every person on this earth has ever done will be for.......nothing. Some claim thats what everything started from. Lets say that the words spoken by Jesus turns out to be truth and I chose not to trust Him before I died, what have I lost? love, peace, hope, joy, fellowship with a God that offered to share His Kingdom with me. He asks that we trust Him.....which is the same as believing Him.
  16. I got you, thanks for correcting me about your statement. Trust Its hard for us isn't it? Specially in this cruel world.
  17. You've confessed Christ as your Saviour a few post back justaguy as an example, then say that you're still waiting on God's plan. Hope this verse helps with understanding God's plan for you. Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Gota believe with your heart......then confess.
  18. Bingo! justaguy has had issues in the past that makes it hard for him to trust someone with all his heart. But I'm still praying for you friend.
  19. I think thats just one example of what the entire world of government will come to in the end. Just read in Revelation where the vials of wrath are poured out. Revelation 16:8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial..............and they repented not Revelation 16:10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial.............and repented not of their deeds Revelation 16:17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial.........and men blasphemed God
  20. Amen, Luke 5:39 No man also having drunk old wine straightway desireth new: for he saith, The old is better. Once we get a taste of the Holy Spirit we then want Him to remain the same so we don't have to change. But God offers a fresh and new wine every day for those willing to drink up. And the new wine is alive and expanding so it can't be put into old wine bottles or you lose both. Our minds are like the bottles we must ask of God with an new and open mind each day, allowing the Holy Spirit room to expand because God is a God of increase.
  21. Amen! Speaking about the return of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is prophecy for the future.
  22. Just a reminder that your faith is indeed great. John 20:29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. It wasn't until Jesus appeared unto Paul before he finally, got it. How much more faith does it take for those that believe yet have not seen?
  23. 1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. Men and women alike should assemble themselves as a body of believers to worship and praise the Lord.....not the world.
  24. I often thought about this Luke and I can honestly say that I always try and remember to pray for the safety of my wife and daughter. If the Lord ever allows for me to face a situation where I have to choose between the safety of my wife and daughter or the life of someone who has just entered into my house for who knows what.........well in short I'm pulling the trigger and will even give my life to protect my family. I do pray often that I'm never faced with this choice.
  25. Honouring our father and mother seems to play a big role in how long we live. Ephesians 6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. 2 Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) 3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
