You know, I always believe in God even as a child before going to school or even church. I also have many catholic friends who are good people and believe in God. Jesus loves them as much as He loves us, He died for us all.

This is where God is, the third heaven. 2Co 12:2 I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.

No, not at all. I just search out the scriptures that tell us that God's Heaven, where He exists is in the north, or the northern part of our universe, and I believe what the Scriptures say. I'm curious, where do you think the third Heaven is?

From a study of the Scriptures with an open and honest heart, we see that heaven is located in the Northern part in our universe. When they would offer the sacrifices in the Old Testament they would offer them northward toward the Lord. Notice what Moses said in Leviticus 1:11, "And he shall kill it on the side of the altar northward before the Lord: and the priests, Aaron's sons, shall sprinkle his blood round about upon the altar." The implication is clear that the Lord is in the north. "Northward before the Lord," says God's Word. North is always the same direction from this planet no matter what time of day. If you were to point to the north in the morning, twelve hours later you would still be pointing in the same direction. No matter where the earth is in its orbit about the sun, north is always the same direction in relationship to the earth. So no matter what time of day or what time of year, north is always the same direction. The Bible also implies that salvation comes from the north. In Psalms75:6 we read, "For promotion (salvation) cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south." Therefore, we conclude that salvation comes from the north since it is the only choice left. God and heaven must be located in the north of our universe. Does that sound reasonable? Well we can either believe what is written in the Word of God or not believe what is written in the Word of God, or make up your own pet theory as to where God's Heaven is, Its your choice. Isaiah 14:13; "How art thou fallen from Heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which dist weaken the nations! For thou art hast said in thine heart, I WILL ASCEND INTO HEAVEN, I WILL EXALT MY THRONE above the stars of God: I WILL sit also upon the mount of the congregation, IN THE SIDES OF THE NORTH: I WILL ascend above the heights of the clouds; I WILL BE like the most High,"

Thank you missmuffet. I was raised in the catholic church and was sent to catholic schools. We worshiped, prayed to and bowed down to statues of Mary and many dead saints. I never saw a Bible in any ones hands until I left the catholic church and purchased one of my own. As an alter boy I asked the priest what the latin words meant that we were saying during mass. His reply was, "Never mind what they mean, just chime in where you have to." I virtually knew nothing about Jesus and His plan for mankind until I left the catholic church.

"In the beginning" [literally by periods or ages] God created the heaven, [Hebrew, heavens] and the earth, not 6000years ago God created the Heaven and the earth. When we speak of the six days and the creation of the present life on Earth, we can speak with Bible authority that it was about 6000 years ago. This can be seen by the lengths of the various dispensations since Adam. In no Scripture are we taught to believe that the heavens and the Earth were originally created during the six days and at the time of Adam about 6000 years ago. Some use Exodus 20:8-11; 31:17 to try and prove that the heavens and the Earth were created in the six days of Gen. 1:3-2:25, and therefore, that they were created about 6000 years ago. However, nothing is said of the original creation of the heavens and the Earth in these passages. In these Scriptures the Hebrew word 'ASAH,' meaning to make out of already existing material, is used instead of the word 'BARA,' to create. These verses picture the re-creation work of the six days and not the original creation "In the beginning." 'ASAH' never means to create. It is translated 'MADE,' 659 times; 'MAKE,' 449 times; 'MAKETH,' 59 times and 'MAKEST,' sixteen times; 'MAKER,' thirteen times; 'MAKING,' eleven times; and 'MADEST,' three times. When God said, "In six days, the Lord 'MADE' heaven and Earth," he had in mind the restoration of the heaven (firmament, or clouds) and the Earth to a habitable state as it was before the destruction of Lucifers kingdom by the flood and Gen. 1:2.We read in John 1:1, "In the beginning was the Word and the word was God and the Word was with God." In verse three, 3. "All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made." The Word, who became flesh, (John 1:14), is an eternal being, having no beginning and no end. The Bible teaches, He was in the beginning as well as teaching, "In the beginning God created . . . . " God the Father and God the Son have never been sitting in Heaven doing nothing throughout eternity past. They have been working, planning and creating all throughout eternity past, present and on into the future. Jesus Himself said; "John 5:17, Jesus answered them, MY FATHER WORKETH HITHERTO, AND I WORK. The Bible teaches that the world, the universe is thousands of years if not more old, as does archaeological records, geology, geography, geophysics, soil science, oceanography, hydrology, limnology, glaciology, and atmospheric sciences. Heaven is a planet Just like the Earth only a better country, as Scripture clearly teaches. . Many Scriptures teach that Heaven is inhabited. (1 Kings 22:19; 2 Chron. 18:18; Matt.18:10; 22:30; 24:36; Rev. 12:12; 13:6). Armies and hosts of Heaven are mentioned an number of times as seen in these passages and in Dan. 4:35; Luke 2:13; Rev. 19:14. These inhabitants are listed in part as common angels, archangels, seraphim, cherubim and other spirit beings. Heavenly bodies are mentioned in 1 Cor. 15:48-49. Rejoicing in Heaven is referred to by the inhabitants in Heaven (Ps. 96:11; 148:1, 4; Isa.44:23; Rev. 12:12). 8. Paul speaks of "the invisible things" in Heaven as being like the visible things on Earth; that is the things in Heaven are just like the things on Earth. (Rom. 1:20). The word "things" is used in many passages in referring to realities in Heaven. (Phil. 2:10; Col 1:16-20; Heb. 8:12; 9:23). We know from Scripture that in Heaven there are Cities (Rev.21), mansions (John 14:1-3), trees, rivers (Rev.22:1-3), fountains of water (Rev. 7:17), food (Ex.16:4; Ps.78:25: 105:40; John 6:31-51: Luke 22:16, 18, 30; Rev. 2:7, 17: 19:1-10; 22:1-3). Animals are mentioned as being in Heaven in these following Scriptures; (2 Kings 2:11-12; 6:13-17; Zech. 1:8-11: 6:1-8; Rev. 19:11-14, 21: Rom. 1:20). All these things are mentioned as being in Heaven, furniture, tongs (Isa.6:6), fire and coals (Isa. 6:6; Rev.8:5) censer and incense (Rev. 8:4-6), smoke (Rev. 8:4; 15:8), musical instruments (Rev. 5:8; 14:1-5; 15:2-4), clothes (Dan. 7:9; Rev. 1:13; 6:9-11), stones (Rev. 2:17), books (Rev. 3:5; 5:1-7; 10:1-11; 20:11-15), Also mentioned in Scripture are things that are here on Earth such as, vials or bowls, crowns, thunderings, lightnings, clouds, lamps, a sea of glass, singing, worship, palm trees, temples, silence, so there must also be noise at other times, trumpets, hail, mountains, keys and chains, measuring sticks, olive trees, the ark of the testament, doors, posts, girdles, pearls, diamonds and other precious stones, walls, gates, gold in abundance, streets, fruits, banquets, and many other innumerable things. If the invisible things in the heavenlies are clearly seen by the things on Earth, as Paul taught in Rom. 1:20, then we have a right to believe that there are in Heaven the same kind of things that we have on Earth. We have no right to make an exception of any good thing that God created and intended for man to have before the fall. The Bible asserts that the stars are innumerable (Genesis 15:5, Genesis 17:7, Hebrews 11:12). This does not necessarily mean that we are incapable of mathematically expressing their number. It means that no human has the ability to count them individually. It is claimed that there are 100 billion stars in our galaxy alone. If stars were counted around the clock at one star per second, then it would take over 3000 years just to count these. Add to this the fact that there are as many as 100 billion galaxies. However, there were many scholars prior to Galileo who believed that the stars could be counted, and several attempts were made to do so. Many of these counts arrived at around 1000 stars.” All of this brings Psalm 8: 3-4 to mind When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained; What is man that You take thought of him, And the son of man that You care for him? How, when and where the Catholic church began. The city Babylon was built by Nimrod, the mighty hunter (Gen. 10:8-10). It was the seat of the first great apostasy against God after the flood. Here the Babylonian Cult was invented by Nimrod and his Queen, Semiramis. It was a system claiming the highest wisdom and ability to reveal the most divine secrets. This cult was characterized by the word "Mystery" because of its mysteries. Beside confessing to the priests at admission to this cult, one was compelled to drink of "mysterious beverages," which says Salvert (Des Sciences Occultes, Page 259) was indespensible on the part of those who saught initation into these mysteries. The "mysterious beverages' were composed of wine, honey, water, and flour. They were always of an intoxicating nature, and untill the aspirants had come under the influence of it and had their understanding dimmed they were not prepared for what they were to see and hear. The method was to introduce privately, little by little, information under seal of secrecy and sanction of oath that would be impossible to reveal otherwise. This has been the policy of the Roman Church and the secret of the power of the priests over the lives of men whom they could expose to the world for their sins that have been confessed to them. Once admitted, men were no longer Babylonians, Assyrians, or Egyptians, but were members of a mystical brotherhood, over whom was placed a Supreme Pontif or High Priest whos word was final in all things in thelives of the brotherhood regardless of the country in which they lived. The ostensible objects of worship were the Supreme Father, the Incarnate Female or Queen of Heaven, and her Son. The last two were only objects of worship, as the Supreme Father was said not to interfere with mortal affaires (Nimrod 111, Page 239). This system is believed to have come from fallen angels and demons. The object of the cult was to rule the world by these dogmas. Much more can be said but to simplify things, Damasus, Bishop of the Christian Church at Rome, was elected to the office of Supreme Pontif. He had been bishop for twelve years, having been made suchin 366 A. D. through influence of the monks of Mount Carmel, a college of the Babylonian religion originally founded by the priests of Jezebel and continued to this day in connection with Rome. So, in 378 A. D., the babylonian system of religion became part of Christendom, for the bishop of Rome, who later became the supreme head of the organized church, was already Supreme Pontiff of the Babylonian Order. All the teachings of pagan Babylon and Rome were gradually interspersed into the Christian religious organization. Soon after Damasus was made Supreme Pontiff, the rites of Babylon began to come to the front. The worship of the Roman Church became babylonish, and under him, the heathen temples were restored and beautified and the rituals established. Thus, the currupt religious system under the figure of a woman with a golden cup in her hand, making all nations drunk with her fornication, is called by God "MYSTERY BABYLON THE GREAT." The first practice that grew up after this union was the introduction of the worship of the saints, especially of the virgin Mary. Thousands of pagans entered the church in those days who were accustomed to worshiping the gods of towns and places, who were not thoroughly Christianized. The veneration of saints and holy men became a worship. Saints were considered lesser dieties, whos intercession availed with God. Places connected with the lives of holy men were considered sacred and pilgrimages were started. Relics or bones of saints were believed to have miraculous power. The worship of the virgin Mary was set up in 381 A. D., three years after Damasus became bead of the Babylonian Cult. Just as the Babylonian cult worshiped the "Queen of Heaven and her Son" and did not worship the Supreme Father because he simply did not interfere with mortal affairs, so the Roman Chrurch has a similar worship in that they worship Mary as the mother of God and her Son. The image of mother and child was an object of worship in Babylon long before Christ was born. From Babylon it spread to the ends of the Earth. The original mother was Semiramis, the beautiful queen of Nimrod, who was a paragon of unbridled lust and licentiousness. In the "mysteries," which she had the chief part in forming, she was worshiped as Rhea (Chronicon Paschal, Volume 1, Page 65), the great "Mother of the God's" with such atrocious rites as identified her with Venus, the mother of all impurity. She raised Babylon, where she reigned to eminence among the nations as the great seat idolatry and consecrated prostetution (Hesiod, Theogonia, Volume 36, Page 435). The apocalyptic emblem of the harlot with cup in hand was one of idolatry derived from ancient Babylon, as they were exhibited in Greece, for thus the Greek Venus was originally represented (Herodotus, Historia, Book 1, cap. 199, Page 92). Ironicilly the Roman Church has taken this as her emblem. In 1825 a medal was struck bearing the image of Pope Leo X11 on one side and on the other side Rome symbolized by a woman with a cross in her left hand and a cup in her right hand and a legend around her "Sedet Super Universum"; that is, "The whole world is her seat." From this original practice, practically all nations have copied a similar worship, but in each land the same figure is carried out under different names. In Egypt the mother and child are known as Isis and Osiris; in India, Isi and Iswara; in Eastern Asia, Cybel and Deoius; in pagan Rome, Fortuna and Jupiter-puer; In Greece, Ceres or as Irene with Plutus in arms, etc. In Thibet, China, and Japan the Jesuits were suprised to find the counterpart of the madonna (the Italian name for virgin) and her child as devoutly worshiped as in Rome itself. Shing Moo, the mother of China, is there represented with child in her arms and a glory around her exactly as if a Roman artist had paintd her. Where did these nations get this common worship if not from Babylon before the dispersion by God in the days of Nimrod (Gen. 11). Thus the worship of Mary in connection with her Son is of Babylonian origin for there is no mention of such worshiping Scripture.

Does your church pastor and the entire congregation condemn homosexuality, same sex marriages, abortion, gay rights and same sex marriages? If not, God is not associated with it. God absolutely HATES all these things. Find another church if that's possible.

Daniel’s 70 Weeks (Dan. 9:24-27) - The expression “70 weeks’ literally means 70 sevens of years. If days were meant it would be so expressed, as in Dan. 10:3. Daniel’s prayer, to which this vision was an answer, did not concern days, but years (Dan. 9:2). Also, we know from Scripture that the last week (Dan. 9:27) is divided into two parts of 3½ years each (Dan. 7:25; 12:7; Rev. 11:2-3; 12:5, 14; 13:5). The whole period of 490 years is marked off from all other years and concern only “thy people [Israel] and thy holy city [Jerusalem],” for which Daniel was praying (Dan. 6:10; 9:1-23). There are six prophetic events to take place during these 490 years relative to Israel and Jerusalem, for six purposes: 1. To Finish the Transgression - The Hebrew word for “transgression” here is pasha`. It means “to revolt, rebel, or sin against lawful authority.” It is often translated “transgression” (Ps. 51:13; Isa. 43:27). This transgression has reference to Israel in her rebellion against God. This prophecy foretells the culmination of that rebellion. The law was added because of transgression until the Seed should come, and it served as a schoolmaster to lead Israel to Christ (Gal. 3:17-25). Israel failed to receive their Messiah so they were broken off in unbelief from God’s favor as a nation. They will not be received again fully until the Second Coming of Christ, who will “turn ungodliness from Jacob” and cause a nation to be born again at once (Rom. 11:25-29; Isa. 66:7-10; Ezek. 36:24-30; Zech. 12:10–13:1). 2. To Make an End of Sins - Israel’s sins, if collected as concrete matter, would fill the earth. She has been in rebellion against God from her beginning and she will continue in this state until the fulfilment of this prophecy at the return of Christ. This “end of sins” will not be made until after the tribulation, but from that time on Israel will obey God forever (Ezek. 36:24-30; 37:24-27; 43:7; Zech. 14:1-21). 3. To Make Atonement for Iniquity - The Hebrew word for “iniquity” is `avon and means “perverseness, to be crooked, or wrung out of course” (1 Sam. 20:30; 2 Sam. 19:19; Job 33:33). Atonement was made on the cross for the whole world, but Israel as a nation has not yet appropriated its benefits and won’t do so until Christ’s return (Zech. 13:1-7; Rom. 11:25-27; Isa. 66:7-8). 4. To Bring in Everlasting Righteousness - When the transgression has been finished, an end of sins made, and the full benefits of the atonement will have been realized by Israel, then everlasting righteousness will be ushered in (Isa. 9:6-7; 12:1-6; Dan. 7:13-14, 18, 27; Mt. 25:31-46; Ezek. 43:7; Rom. 11:25-29). 5. To Seal up the Vision and Prophecy - This means to make an end of certain prophecies concerning Israel and Jerusalem. The word “prophecy” should be translated “prophet,” as elsewhere. It means that there will be no further need of inspired men to rebuke Israel in an attempt to lead them into the way of righteousness “for all shall know the Lord from the least unto the greatest” (Jer. 31:31-40; Isa. 11:9). 6. To Anoint the Most Holy - This refers to the cleansing of the Holy of Holies, the temple, and the city of Jerusalem from the abomination of desolation and the sacrilege of Gentiles, and to the establishment and anointing of the Millennial temple of Ezek. 40-43, which is yet to be built by Christ at His Second Advent (Zech. 6:12-13). Not one of the six events above has been fulfilled as yet concerning Israel and Jerusalem. They must be fulfilled in the future in the 70th Week (the last seven years of this age) between the rapture and the Second Advent. They will parallel the seven-year covenant made between Antichrist and Israel (Dan. 9:27; Mt. 24:15-22). The seven-year period will be the time when all the events of Mt. 24:4-31; 25:31-46; Rev. 4:1–19:21 will be fulfilled, and when the whole seven-year tribulation will run its course. What is to happen during this Week was not revealed to Daniel in detail, but it was made known to John in Rev. 4:1–19:21. Other details were revealed by Jesus in Mt. 24:4-31; 25:31-46; Lk. 21:1-11, 25-36. This Week of years will begin after the rapture of the Church and continue to the Second Advent. The present Church Age comes in between the 69th and 70th Weeks, or between Israel’s rejection as a nation (Mt. 23:37-39; Rom. 9-11) and her conversion as a nation at the Second Advent of Christ (Isa. 66:7-8; Zech. 12:10–13:1; Rom. 11:25-29). That there must be at least three more European wars before the battle of Armageddon and the second coming of Christ is shown in Daniel 7:23-24. Here we have a prophecy that ten kingdoms must be formed inside the Old Roman Empire territory in the last days. These ten kings referred to are the same ones as are symbolized by the ten horns on the beast of Rev. 13 and 17. In Rev. 17:12-17 it is stated that they will give their kingdoms to the future Antichrist, and then will fight against Jesus Christ at His second advent. This proves that they all must be in existence when Christ comes. There are about twenty two states inside that territory now. Therefore, if these countries must be formed into ten kingdoms and be in existence when Christ comes, changes must be made sometime in the future that will affect these states. It will take one war to form these ten kingdoms before the Antichrist comes. This is the first war. Then in Daniel 7:23-24 it states "after them," that is, after the ten kingdoms are formed, then the Antichrist will arise and subdue three of them. This is the second war. In Daniel 11:40-44; Rev. 17:12-17 it is revealed that the Antichrist will finally get power over the whole ten kingdoms. The third war will be fought between the ten kingdoms under the Antichrist and the nations that are north and east of the ten kingdoms. In other words, Russia, Germany, and other countries north and east of the ten kingdoms inside the old Roman Empire territory, will fight these ten kingdoms during the last three and one-half years of this age. Antichrist will be the victor and he will then lead the nations against Jerusalem and the Jews, but Christ will come and defend the Jews and destroy the Antichrist as set up His Kingdom in the world forever (Zech. 14:1-21; Ezek. 38-39; Joel 3; Isa. 63; Rev. 17:14; 19:11-21; 20:1-10).

1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. One in unity in all things. Scriptures clearly teach that the Word created, made, all things. Some believe all things were created by them, the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. John 1: 1, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2, The same was in the beginning with God. 3, All things were made by HIM; and without HIM was not any thing made that was made. Notice the Scripture clearly states all things were made by HIM, not THEM, or by HIM, THE FATHER, AND THE HOLY GHOST. And verse 10, He was in the world, and the world was made by HIM, and the world knew HIM not. The world He lived in knew the Father. Jesus claimed to be the Son of God and they killed HIM for it. God will hold men responsible for what He says, not for what alleged bible experts interpret His words to say.

John 1:1-3' In the beginning was the Word and the Word was God and the word was with God. The same was in the beginning with God. ALL THINGS WERE MADE BY HIM; and without him was not any thing made that was made. John 1:14, And the Word became flesh . . . . . . (Jesus). So He actually did create everything as the Word before He became flesh.

The answer to all questions asked is YES!

Ezekiel 28: 13-16; 13, Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. 14, Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. 15, Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. 16, By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

The devil told Eve that if she ate from the forbidden tree, “YE SHALL NOT SURELY DIE.” God had told Adam that he would die if he ate of that tree. Genesis 2:16,17 says, “And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for IN THE DAY THAT THOU EATEST THEREOF THOU SHALT SURELY DIE.” Despite what God had clearly said, the devil lied and told Eve that she would not die if she ate of the tree. Even though they did not immediately die they did eventually die. Thus, the devil was responsible for the death of Adam and Eve and all mankind because of his lie. Therefore He was a murderer and a lier from the beginning.
