God's Word is our guideline for life and it is eternal. Through His word we can know God. The bottom line is this that the things we spend so much emotional energy on will one day end, but Gods Word will continue forever. His presence is with us.

I'd say that was Godly Wisdom calling out to you from the tv. God is the only bread of life you need.

I come up with an understanding of this scripture is... Fragrance meaning people are thankful to God. It is like how Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, people around him with despair, desperation, crying and moaning. Jesus first words were, "thank you Lord". With Thankfulness is like a Fire that consumes all the bitterness and leaves a sweet aroma of grace, we draw attention and blessings from God.

Did you notice that angels will be preaching this message in the great trib. Pretty interesting wouldn't you say? I wonder again- maybe they are doing this job because the church is no longer present to do it. Just sayin...... interesting, I must say I have found God is the first to send Angels, should I call upon Him. If everyone just respected each others end time views that would not happen.Everyone has to right to interpret the end times as they wish.No one should ever belittle another on a Christian website regarding their view. I know. I agree. As a rapture 'Switzerlander', I always find the rapture wars quite amusing, but I imagine that it can be frustrating for everyone else. I do not like the nasty debates.Sometimes they get heated and people get angry and very inappropriate.Why not just admit everyone has their own views and let it go I agree.

Your feelings are normal to me. I can understand why your turned off by his drinking. You can tell him it bothers you and see where it takes you in how he responds back. Communication is the key here.

hello Remnantrob, what does it mean to believe? well, baby steps at first. Even though I have been a christian since i was a child, alot of things like my character for one having strong convictions about my beliefs were there instilled in me, in my 20s, 30s my faith and belief stayed the same until my 40s things changed... my life was tested through trials, and my faith, looking back I remember standing there and felt like being up against fears in my own life, and nobody around to hold my hand, it was just me and God, learning to stretch my faith and beliefs, some painful trials but it was all well worth it, my faith gets stronger the older I get, and i found such meaning in my life, its all a process. blessings, desi

I really don't know either. We all have to filter our views in how we see the world, how we see issues through biblical perspective some are complex. Just exercising faith in God more.

My understanding is As God, He knows everything and He can direct our paths without taking away our freedom as to whether to follow that path. Because God is love and He knows us so well.

Lovely psalms to read. You have nicely broken it down into detail. As I recall the one story concerning David being chased by Saul in the wilderness because he didnt want david to be king and how remarkable to see David write down the pain and suffering he had to endure of his hardships and how he turned to God for strength. And here we are reading with delight for encouragement in our own dispairs in life. It's all amazing to me. I love it. It does make you feel homesick thinking about it. I would say no as well if afterlife runs on clocks. Colossians 3:2424 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ. so I'm thinking its pretty awesome.

Amen. So, thankful I don't live without God in my life. I feel so loved when God comes through for me. God gives me strength. Sometimes I limit Him and I do it all myself. I trust you Lord. I want to see people with your eyes and ears. Lessons in life that i am still learning. Such blessings that came from things i didnt see coming. Living a life for Christ makes you find meaning.

"God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference." I think God made us all uniquely different,1 out of 7 billion people are none just alike. I believe that is awesome, and alot of really good advice from others have replied. God Bless you.
