uh no, missing a step and its a mile away from ground not my idea of hiking, I tend to steer away from cliffs like that. My idea of a hike is at a park...lol

I am sure he does, we were made in His image and we have a sense of humor so it only stands to reason He does too.

i have mixed feelings with this one. I can see the funny side but its not a positive one, where you can walk away with a good feeling, its a bit on the negative side saying.

May I ask why you have both a landline and a cellphone? i have landline since i have long distant calling discount, cable tv, and internet, its all in a bundle bill. Then I have my cellphone separate bill.

this is neat to know....i can see landline phones disappearing, (i have both landline and cellphone). The others well, it goes with new techie stuff, always improving, always changing, nothing stays the same anymore. Communication is always a great thing!

my heart goes out to you, I can't say I have ever faced something like this and hope I never do, but in life I have had some real hard stuff come my way....I do know troubles come to pass, not to stay.....And after you have done all you can do, just stand. God has a purpose and a plan for you. Meanwhile, to get your mind off your troubles find a hobby or join a new activity, a chorus, a bird watching group or treat yourself to some lovely music or a book of poems, or walk up to a scenic hillside--anywhere you find beauty, and enjoy.

Times when my life seemed to be so hard and felt so discouraged, just knowing God's presence is constant. He promises to hold us up and not let us fall farther away. I know His blessings and protection is upon me. I just prayed and prayed during that time for God to open my eyes of my heart, for it to be opened to the inheritance I have as God's child. This kept me going.

We all are at different levels in our christian walk so keep that in mind as well. Some do straddle the fence. You can't keep one foot in the world and put one foot in God's Kingdom. Lessons are learned through practical life situations. It's not always easy to get an "A" in this class...it takes some work. I admit at times in my own life lessons didnt pass the test or not quite gotten the gist of a lesson and had to repeat it. But what an incredible privilege to be God's student.

Hello 19Duggarfan, Yes a New Year can bring up old things. I have found this to be true in my own life. The very thing I try to avoid is when God is telling me something, and its usually with is how I grow in relation with others. When I become humble this is where I seem to learn the most. When you have stress and strain this is where growth comes from, God is stretching you. Look at this way part of our emotion healing is to give up any grudges, guilt or grief, accept what can't be changed, sometimes we can get defensive when other people challenge us. And know that it gets worse before it gets better. Shining the light on things makes us not wanting to deal with it. Play it down, and Pray it up to God. praying for you~.
