OK. listen close to this answer. Where were you, with all of the knowledge you are using to judge God, when God needed help in Creating and bringing creation about? The bible is literal. If you can not believe it, there is something wrong with the way you think. The Word of God is the truth. Every thing else is a Lie. For instance God created a mature heavens and earth with the light from the suns already lighting the heavens and the earth. Ask God for His Spirit. When you receive His Spirit He will lead you into all truth.

    Is OSAS true

Once saved always saved is true because you are not saved until you are counted worthy to attain the resurrection from the dead and the catching up to meet the Lord in the air at His return. Luke 20 "The sons of this age marry and are given in marriage. 35 But those who are counted worthy to attain that age, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry nor are given in marriage; 36 nor can they die anymore, for they are equal to the angels and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection. Receiving the end of your faith doesn't come until Christ returns. The only exception are the lords two witnesses who will be resurrected 75 days before the return of the Lord. So those who are saved will be saved when the Lord returns. Then and only then will the sons of God be revealed. 1 Peter 1 7 that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, 8 whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, 9 receiving the end of your faith--the salvation of your souls. Romans 8 19 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. Matthew 10 22 And you will be hated by all for My name's sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved.
  3. Dear Sister First I suggest occupying most of your free time with the Word of God and worship. The Lord says that the battle field is your mind. Occupy it with the word and it will renew your mind because faith comes by hearing the word of God. Pastor Joyce Meyers has a wonderful book called the battlefield of the mind. It will give you the tools you need to walk in the peace that God has for you.
  4. No, Satan is the great deceiver himself. Jesus simply realized who was behind what Peter had said and that he (Satan) was using Peter as a mouthpiece. Satan is an evil spirit entity, not a mere human. The term 'satan' in Hebrew means adversary at its root though, this is true. If satan was a evil spirit Christ would have cast it out of peter, just like He did in all other instances. Christ was talking directly to Peter and what Peter was doing.
  5. It is important that one does all that they can to stop what they know is sin against God. Because the wages of sin is death. One of the elementary principals of Christ is repentance from dead works. Salvation does require that at least the elementary principals be understood and followed. Hebrews 6 1 Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, 2 of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. John 15 13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends. 14 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.
  6. Satan is any man woman or child that loves the things of man and is not mindful of the things of God. Satan the adversary of God is busy at keeping you busy with other things rather than God. Being the adversary of God was what Peter was being when Christ called Him Satan. Matthew 16 23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.
  7. There is a mention of America in Isaiah chapter 24 and chapter 34. Also a mention in Revelation 11. Isaiah 34 1 Come near, you nations, to hear; And heed, you people! Let the earth hear, and all that is in it, The world and all things that come forth from it. 2 For the indignation of the Lord is against all nations, And His fury against all their armies; He has utterly destroyed them, He has given them over to the slaughter. 3 Also their slain shall be thrown out; Their stench shall rise from their corpses, And the mountains shall be melted with their blood. Isaiah 24 1 Behold, the Lord makes the earth empty and makes it waste, Distorts its surface And scatters abroad its inhabitants. 2 And it shall be: As with the people, so with the priest; As with the servant, so with his master; As with the maid, so with her mistress; As with the buyer, so with the seller; As with the lender, so with the borrower; As with the creditor, so with the debtor. 3 The land shall be entirely emptied and utterly plundered, For the Lord has spoken this word. 4 The earth mourns and fades away, The world languishes and fades away; The haughty people of the earth languish. 5 The earth is also defiled under its inhabitants, Because they have transgressed the laws, Changed the ordinance, Broken the everlasting covenant. 6 Therefore the curse has devoured the earth, And those who dwell in it are desolate. Therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, And few men are left. Revelation 11 6 These have power to shut heaven, so that no rain falls in the days of their prophecy; and they have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to strike the earth with all plagues, as often as they desire. 10 -------- because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth.

    To Endure!

Amen Suzanne Enduring to the end is part of the gospel of Christ.
  11. A Time, Times, and a half Time is three and a half years which corresponds with revelation 11's "42 months" or "1260" days. Daniel 12 7 -it shall be for a time, times, and half a time; and when the power of the holy people has been completely shattered, all these things shall be finished. The beginning of Daniel 12 tells us about the coming of the Great tribulation and the "time, times and half a time" tells us how long it will last.

    To Endure!

A few endures in the new testament. Mark 4 17 and they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the word's sake, immediately they stumble. 1 Corinthians 4 12 And we labor, working with our own hands. Being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we endure; 1 Corinthians 9 12 If others are partakers of this right over you, are we not even more? Nevertheless we have not used this right, but endure all things lest we hinder the gospel of Christ. 1 Thessalonians 3 1 Therefore, when we could no longer endure it, we thought it good to be left in Athens alone, 1 Thessalonians 3 5 For this reason, when I could no longer endure it, I sent to know your faith, lest by some means the tempter had tempted you, and our labor might be in vain. 2 Thessalonians 1 4 so that we ourselves boast of you among the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that you endure, 2 Timothy 2 3 You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. 2 Timothy 2 10 Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. 2 Timothy2 12 If we endure, We shall also reign with Him. If we deny Him, He also will deny us. 2 Timothy 4 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 2 Timothy 4 5 But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry. Hebrews 12 7 If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? Hebrews 12 20 (For they could not endure what was commanded: "And if so much as a beast touches the mountain, it shall be stoned* or shot with an arrow."+ James 5 11 Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord--that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful. 2 Corinthians 1 6 Now if we are afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effective for enduring the same sufferings which we also suffer. Or if we are comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation. Hebrews 10 34 for you had compassion on me in my chains, and joyfully accepted the plundering of your goods, knowing that you have a better and an enduring possession for yourselves in heaven. Hebrews 6 15 And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise. Hebrews 12 1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls.

    To Endure!

Amen Suzanne The Lord is our Strength. Our sword and our shield. Our leader in battle on the world battle field. Our bread when we're hungry. Our drink when we're dry. Our Hope for tomorrow. If in Christ we might die. The Lord is our savior. He died and rose again. To silence the accuser and free us from all sin. The Lord is our Author. The Lord is our King. The Lord is our honor, and His praises we'll sing. Fore our Lord conquered everything. Our Father made him King of Kings and of His Glory we will sing and praise the King of Kings.

The easiest way to explain is with scripture. John 4 24 God is Spirit, - Psalms 139 7 Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? Colossians 1 15 He is the image of the invisible God, - John 14 9 -He who has seen Me has seen the Father;- Ephesians 4 4 There is one body and one Spirit,

    To Endure!

The day draws near when everyone who names the name of the Lord will hear the Preaching of Jonah. Those who will endure will respond the same as the people of Nineveh who could not discern their right from there left but knew that you did not want to fall under the wrath of God. Forty days it was then and forty days it will be.
  18. Surprised and regretted? translated by men who didn't get it? John 4 24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth." Psalms 139 7 Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? 8 If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. 9 If I take the wings of the morning, And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, 10 Even there Your hand shall lead me, And Your right hand shall hold me. 11 If I say, "Surely the darkness shall fall on me," Even the night shall be light about me; 12 Indeed, the darkness shall not hide from You, But the night shines as the day; The darkness and the light are both alike to You.
  19. Amen OneLight One must know who Jesus Christ is and what He taught. Or how else can one truthfully say "I believe".
  20. Amen tsth A dot and a collection plate. A way of life that doesn't even resemble what Christ showed or taught. Those "Enduring" will be getting back to the first Church that Christ built real soon. The Lord will be pouring out His spirit without measure across the globe one last time as a witness to all nations and then the end of the world and the beginning of the kingdom.
  21. This mirrors my thinking when asking about the silence of Lazarus, and how there is no unquestionable, incontrovertible "words" spoken by him in Luke's parable. Only cross-"rationalization" and "assumption" makes one arrive at the position that he is an active part of the interaction. Here Samuel, upon "rising" possesses a conversational ability, but only upon being disturbed/disquieted to be "brought up". We do not haveunquestionable, incontrovertible scriptural verse evidence which allows us to know if he possessed and utilized this ability while he was "down" where he was (grave/paradise). I don't think it impossible to comprehend that the "good" get to "rest" and await Christ, and the "bad" get to be "awake" so that their punishment/torment may be felt. What is also interesting about 1 Samuel 28:19 is that whether "awake or asleep", Samuel "rises" having a foreknowledge of events that have not yet occured relating to Saul, his sons, and the Israelites. Blessings to you brother, in His service, Christian That was a great point about Samual having foreknowlegde about certain events that were to take place. I believe that when we die saved or unsaved Judgement takes place at the moment of death which is why the rich man is already suffering eternal torment and Lazarus is resting. Both were recieving their just rewards from the choices they made before their death. Samuel always had that knowledge from God while he was alive. So being brought back to life by the witch why wouldn't he have it still. Everyone who has ascended into heaven ascended alive not dead. Christ came back to life to ascend into heaven. Enoch was taken up alive. Elijah was taken up into heaven alive. As a mater of fact there is not one single person who has went to heaven when they die. This is why there is a resurrection from the dead at Christs return.
  22. Salvation is this: For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. This is all that is needed to become saved, to believe in Jesus. What you have listed comes after salvation. OneLight There is a whole new testament written about that statement "Believe in Jesus Christ". How can one believe in someone they don't know? If one says they believe and don't know what they believe in, they become a liar and a pawn in someone else's treachery. Paul told us in this scripture in Hebrews 6 what the elementary principles of Christ are. These are the elementary principals, part of that which is Christ Jesus. If a person doesn't know and understand the principals of Christ how can they know Christ? Christ came preaching Repent and believe the Gospel. Mark 1 15 and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel." that is not a statement of hope....are you implying that if I don't know the doctrine of Christ I am not really saved and bound for hell? I am saying that there is no time like the present to learn everything you can about our Lord and Savior who loved His friends enough to go to the Cross so that all who will come to Him will be saved. John 15 13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends. 14 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. John 14 23 Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.
  23. The actual sabbath is when Christ returns and sets up his kingdom on earth. It is God's rest. God set one day out of seven for us to remember what is coming and in like manner keep it holy. Not doing our own thing or our own will on His Holy Day. A mirror of what is to come. Prior to the day of the Lord, The sabbath, God's rest. The world built and run by man will fall and never, ever rise again. The Sabbath is "the day of the Lord". And a day to the Lord is a thousand years. 2 Peter 3 8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
  24. Exactly, and God is all good...So why would God create something that He is absent from? People use Isaiah 45:7 to say that God created evil...which I think is a bunch of bogus...Some translations say darkness instead of evil. Is God talking about the "thick darkness" that God used to camp with the Isrialites out in the desert so that they wouldn't fall over dead from His Glory? Anyone study this out? Walking in Victory, J Deuteronomy 32 39 'Now see that I, even I, am He, And there is no God besides Me; I kill and I make alive; I wound and I heal; Nor is there any who can deliver from My hand. Isaiah 45 7 I form the light and create darkness, I make peace and create calamity; I, the Lord, do all these things.' Jeremiah 25 33 And at that day the slain of the Lord shall be from one end of the earth even to the other end of the earth. They shall not be lamented, or gathered, or buried; they shall become refuse on the ground.
