  1. I also wanted to add this for your consideration brother, from Matthew. Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. The gospel will reach everyone, one way or the other, all will hear or have heard the truth. Sadly, many reject it, to their own destruction, like the first passage I shared says, "they are without excuse."
  2. Of course men sin, but according to Romans 3:10, none is righteous. So the question then becomes, how is one righteous. There is only one answer, one can only be MADE righteous, through faith in Jesus Christ. This is the qualifier. Romans 3: 22 the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction: God knows what He is doing brother, and His elect will not perish, when the full number comes in, all that choose God will be present and accounted for. This is one of the very things we have faith in! God bless
  3. Brother, we both know what scripture says on the matter, what you or I view as good is based on subjective human reasoning. Scripture tells us this. Romans 3:10 as it is written: “None is righteous, no, not one; 11 no one understands; no one seeks for God. 12 All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one.” 13 “Their throat is an open grave; they use their tongues to deceive.” “The venom of asps is under their lips.” 14 “Their mouth is full of curses and bitterness.” 15 “Their feet are swift to shed blood; 16 in their paths are ruin and misery, 17 and the way of peace they have not known.” 18 “There is no fear of God before their eyes.” Romans 3:21 But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it— 22 the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction: 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God's righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. 26 It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. 27 Then what becomes of our boasting? It is excluded. By what kind of law? By a law of works? No, but by the law of faith. 28 For we hold that one is justified by faith apart from works of the law. 29 Or is God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also,30 since God is one—who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith. 31 Do we then overthrow the law by this faith? By no means! On the contrary, we uphold the law.
  4. Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. 19 For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. 20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. 21 For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Claiming to be wise, they became fools, 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things. 24 Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, 25 because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.

  6. From the main forum screen, the video section is underneath the Fellowship Center, there are four sections within it.
  7. Thanks for clarifying for me, going to take some time thinking on this, God bless you.
  8. I don't see where man gets any glory, so not sure I am following you here. Out of curiosity though, what would be the difference between inferring man gets credit for having faith as opposed to man being credited for belief? I do know scripture says this. Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who seek Him. And in respect to anyone who draws near to God, again, scripture makes it clear the credit and glory is God's alone. John 6:44 No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day. God bless
  9. Hebrews 11 covers this as well, it is by faith.
  10. I think the root of this problem can be found in the modern day version of the altar call. The one on one counseling that was once a customary action has been lost and diminished to singular verses that don't begin to touch on what the true meaning is. For example, belief in and of itself does not meet the standards according to scripture. Here is an example of what I mean. James 2:19 You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe—and shudder! Luke 4:41 And demons also came out of many, crying, “You are the Son of God!” But he rebuked them and would not allow them to speak, because they knew that he was the Christ. Clearly even these demons know who He is, and believe, but that does not make them saved. So what is it that people are not being told? Hebrews 11 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. 2 For by it the people of old received their commendation. 3 By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible. I highly recommend you invest in a complete reading of Hebrews 11 for further clarification. God bless
  11. The first step is in admitting you are a sinner, and then you must repent and ask forgiveness for this, and embrace Jesus as your Lord and Savior. What follows is removing these things from your life, and renewing your mind. Sanctification is a process, but submitting yourself to God and His ways will be reflected in how you live, no longer as the person you currently describe yourself as, but as a new creation. This is the result of being born again, dying to self, and living for God. God bless
  12. It is possible that the dream means nothing, and that your recollection of it has transferred over to your interactions of the day. I am no dream interpreter, so I can't say one way or the other, but what a person thinks often shapes how they respond. When you say witchcraft isn't new to you, I can't help but wonder if that means you were an active participant at some point? Unfortunately the forum you have chosen to post in limits any ability for a back and forth conversation on the matter. If you are a Christian, it might be best if we move this thread to a different area so a conversation is possible. Praying for you. God bless
  13. Hey brother, I agree with you that they are different in that the times of the Gentiles is the time in which the gospel is still being preached to the Gentiles. The fullness is when the number of Gentile believers is arrived at in my opinion. While I agree that Jerusalem has been trampled under foot before, it appears to me based on scripture that it will be again as well. Can you explain how this scripture factors into your understanding? Revelation 11 Then I was given a measuring rod like a staff, and I was told, “Rise and measure the temple of God and the altar and those who worship there, 2 but do not measure the court outside the temple; leave that out, for it is given over to the nations, and they will trample the holy city for forty-two months.
  14. Colorful attack, but naturally you fail to provide scripture to support your claims. Typical. If you want to insist something is true, shouldn't it be found in scripture, the source of all truth? True, I do not believe in something that scripture does not support. And yet somehow the sudden destruction doesn't happen here according to your theory, care to explain that? Are we redefining English words as well now? Please share this scripture with us, would love to see this. Any scripture that states this claim? If there is any truth to this, then it shouldn't be hard to point us to the scripture that says so, right? Of course, the entire pre-trib teaching is based on additions and inferences, not scripture, as evidenced by the lack thereof in your post. Really? Where do you get this from in scripture? I can disprove this claim with scripture as well. Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Ephesians 1:21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. 22 And he put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church, 23 which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all. Does the dog wag the tail or the tail wag the dog?
  15. 26 For to the one who pleases him God has given wisdom and knowledge and joy, but to the sinner he has given the business of gathering and collecting, only to give to one who pleases God. This also is vanity and a striving after wind.
  16. 24 There is nothing better for a person than that he should eat and drink and find enjoyment in his toil. This also, I saw, is from the hand of God,
  17. 22 What has a man from all the toil and striving of heart with which he toils beneath the sun?
  18. 19 and who knows whether he will be wise or a fool? Yet he will be master of all for which I toiled and used my wisdom under the sun. This also is vanity.
  19. Lawlessness will continue to increase, as it has from the very beginning, but a time is coming when lawlessness will be ruling openly. Like when the man of lawlessness is ruling all the nations? Right now we just see glimpses of it. As for your reference to the church age, scripture only supports one occurrence of an age ending, and it is part of the Olivet discourse. It is the last question the disciples asked Jesus, and He answered it. Matthew 25. Compare what takes place there, with the only place in scripture that tells us exactly when the age ends. Matthew 13:37 He answered, “The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. 38 The field is the world, and the good seed is the sons of the kingdom. The weeds are the sons of the evil one, 39 and the enemy who sowed them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are angels. 40 Just as the weeds are gathered and burned with fire, so will it be at the end of the age. 41 The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all law-breakers, 42 and throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear. The age ends at the time of judgement, just as Jesus says it will. If you disagree, then show scripture stating an age ends elsewhere. They are derived from the same root word, the meaning doesn't change. This is why when translated they arrive at the same word. Wishful thinking, and rather comical. Why would Paul, inspired by the Holy Spirit use a word not in its usual meaning. If Paul wanted to speak about the gathering he would have written harpazo, and it makes absolutely no sense in the context as a departing of the church. Let me display this in plain fashion slightly paraphrased. Concerning the Second Coming and the gathering (rapture), don't be spooked if someone tells you it already happened. The Second Coming and the gathering (rapture) will not come, unless the departure of the church (rapture) and the man of lawlessness come first. A rapture before a rapture, eh? Yeah, that is not what Paul is saying, clearly. No, what Paul is saying is that the Second Coming and the gathering (rapture) will not come, unless the falling away (departure from the faith) and the man of lawlessness come first. And what else Paul is saying, is that the Second Coming and the gathering (rapture) are one event, and he defines that event as the Day of the Lord. II Thessalonians 2:9 The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, What leads up to this? Revelation 12:7 Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels fought back, 8 but he was defeated, and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world—he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. And what activity? Revelation 9 And the fifth angel blew his trumpet, and I saw a star fallen from heaven to earth, and he was given the key to the shaft of the bottomless pit. 2 He opened the shaft of the bottomless pit, and from the shaft rose smoke like the smoke of a great furnace, and the sun and the air were darkened with the smoke from the shaft. Now note that the fallen star is a HE, and this HE has been given a key to open the abyss. The fifth trumpet which begins the activity is the first WOE, as shown in scripture that the three woes are attached to the 5th, 6th, and 7th trumpets. Revelation 8:13 Then I looked, and I heard an eagle crying with a loud voice as it flew directly overhead, “Woe, woe, woe to those who dwell on the earth, at the blasts of the other trumpets that the three angels are about to blow!” And from Revelation 12, when Satan is cast out of heaven by Michael and his angels. Revelation 12:12 Therefore, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath, because he knows that his time is short!” And take note to the mention of the sea, because this is where separating scripture into chapters did a great disservice to understanding. Look how chapter 12 ends, and where chapter 13 begins. Revelation 12:17 Then the dragon became furious with the woman and went off to make war on the rest of her offspring, on those who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus. And he stood on the sand of the sea. Revelation 13 And I saw a beast rising out of the sea, with ten horns and seven heads, with ten diadems on its horns and blasphemous names on its heads. 2 And the beast that I saw was like a leopard; its feet were like a bear's, and its mouth was like a lion's mouth. And to it the dragon gave his power and his throne and great authority. The answer to who the restrainer is, I would say it is probably whomever gave him the key to open the abyss. Ultimately, I would say the answer is Jesus, who holds the key to death and Hades. However, it would appear based on scripture that Michael is the instrument being used to do so. As shown in Revelation 12, it is Michael and his angels that eject him from heaven to earth. So how is Michael taken out of the way? Daniel 12 “At that time shall arise Michael, the great prince who has charge of your people. And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never has been since there was a nation till that time. But at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone whose name shall be found written in the book." What the above passage tells us, is that Michael, once he has thrown the enemy out of heaven, has a new task. He is tasked with protecting the Jewish remnant whose names are found in the book of life. We see this being carried out in Revelation 12 also. Revelation 12:13 And when the dragon saw that he had been thrown down to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child. 14 But the woman was given the two wings of the great eagle so that she might fly from the serpent into the wilderness, to the place where she is to be nourished for a time, and times, and half a time. 15 The serpent poured water like a river out of his mouth after the woman, to sweep her away with a flood. 16 But the earth came to the help of the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed the river that the dragon had poured from his mouth. 17 Then the dragon became furious with the woman and went off to make war on the rest of her offspring, on those who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus. And he stood on the sand of the sea. So the answer to the question is God is restraining, until the proper time.
  20. Tribulation. All that nothing I posted is the meaning of the word.
  21. Which part of the definition of the word do you not understand? 2347 thlípsis – properly, pressure (what constricts, rubs together in a narrow place that "hems in"); tribulation, focusing on internal pressure that causes one to feel confined (restricted, "without options"). 2347/thlipsis ("compression, tribulation") brings the challenge of also coping with the internal pressure caused by the tribulation, especially feeling there is "no way of escape" because "hemmed in." Dealing with 2347/thlípsis ("compression, tribulation") is principally an "inside-out" matter. All pressure is ultimately internal and only truly dealt with by the Lord's inworking of faith. Accordingly 2347 (thlípsis) and 4102/pístis ("faith, God's inworked persuasion") are very closely connected.
  22. The word mean pressure, that is what tribulation is. It has nothing to do with judgement or wrath of God, it is all about what the enemy is doing for that 3 1/2 year period he is waging war on the saints.
  23. Yes, and Paul is pretty clear about it in the passage I think. II Thessalonians 2:9 The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, 10 and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.
  24. 17 So I hated life, because what is done under the sun was grievous to me, for all is vanity and a striving after wind.
  25. The tribulation is not about God's judgement, or His wrath. His wrath comes afterward, at the end, following the great pressure that is applied by the enemy. We don't serve a God of pressure, He isn't pressuring anyone into believing in Him, or there would be no free will.
