  1. Very well put, Mike!.You explained it alot better than me and I liked the part about the sheep making sheep! your friend, john
  2. My sister looks like Dolly! When she goes out, like Walmart or someplace, the kids flock to her!...Apparently, my sister looks like Hannah Montanas aunt, who is played by Dolly! Its a GASS! I just saw the tv show tonite with Dolly...Not all of it, but the part that she thanked God for giving her all the opportunities shes been given. That made me feel good...Made me like her more! Oh...at any rate......God gave women different curves than men for a reason...To draw mans attention! I like how she looks....and how nice she is..and How thankful to God she is for all she has....One day tho,....All the looks will leave....They leave for everybody eventually..some sooner than others! If you dont believe me....you oughtta see ME "Then" and "Now"...Good thing I have Charm! Also, on the TV show tonite....did you see the part where they mentioned about her husband and how meek and humble he is? your friend, john
  3. I dont go to church...I have no legitimate excuse for you WHY I dont go...I just dont go. Unfortunately, If I explained my reasons, then I'd be guilty of Judging the clergy. However, while talking about this, I remember when I was first "Born Again" in the late 70's or early eighties, I went to all kinds of churches, bible studies, prayer meetings, and some BIG conventions(charismatic)...When i would go to church back then, I would just look around at all the people who really didnt know Jesus. I figure that they were mostly all there because it runs in the family, or perhaps, because they read that theyre supposed to go.THATS why I always went to church before being saved, just because I was supposed to go and thats all I knew. If I do go now, which is not very often, I'm dissapointed that the truth isnt preached..Its not just at my church I go to, but I feel its alot, if not most of the churches nowadays...How many pastors counsel young couples who "Live together" as if its acceptable? How many pastors tell the congregation to go out and protest abortion?...and on and on and on....Sometimes I wanna get up and yell,"C'mon, tell us about hell!"...Or, "Tell us about how wrong homosexuality is and fornication is, and divorce is!"....As mentioned earlier in this thread....Sort of....We dont like the truth because it hurts our feelings... Some preachers know this....and they dont want to hurt peoples feelings...for whatever reason. oh well....and I wasnt going to be judgemental your friend, john
  4. Ive had a small cross, about 8 inches tall..Ive had this cross since as long as I can remember..It has a body of Jesus on it which GLOWS in the dark! I like this cross as it reminds me to hold on to the faith I had as a child. It doesnt have any secret powers in itself, but it is a reminder of What Jesus did for me and for all people in the world...And, it still glows! I think I'd like to be buried with it. your friend, john
  5. My biggest problem is wasting my time...Not doing anything bad, nor doing anything good...just doing nothing. I do alot of nothing. your friend, john
  6. She probably would go for it...I wouldnt put her thru the wringer tho, as when the wiccan came into the chat room.I wasnt there, but it didnt sound good. But, I bet, if I asked her to tell people about what she believes, she'd be open to it! your friend, john
  7. Hmmm...I'm married to an atheist....Honest....It sux from my point of view but janelle is just like any other person, as mentioned earlier...as a matter of fact, IF she was a Christian, she'd be seen as a better Christian than most of us. You know what? I oughta get her to come to a room some nite and chat to all the people who have questions about atheists. your friend, john
  8. I thot it was good! Especially the part"He is especially fond of you".....That was coool... After reading this, I felt good! I felt good about reading a Godly type of book....Alot different than stephen King or Dean Koontz..And, there are answers to many peioples questions as to "Why" God lets things happen... However, I do realize this is a work of fiction. New Age...Thats silliness...The way I immediately interpreted this book was this........In my words.."If God can talk thru a mule to get somebodys attention, He can surely talk thru a book of fiction to get His love acknowledged". your friend, john
  9. Hi John, thanks for the story.. I actually got gored by goat right under my chin when I was about 5 years old. I had stitches right under my chin.. my sister ran to me when she saw what happened and she got hit right where I got hit too! She also has stitches on her chin! hehe... So the goat tore through the car or just put dents in it? I had a friend who had several dents because of hail and the body shop told her it would cost $20 per dent.. she told me this was cheap but it's really expensive if you ask me. Is that how much your friend paid as well?? hail damage dent repair is more like a paintless repair..... they use rods and such to repair ding or small dents from inside the panel.... the place here that does it, starts at about 35 bucks a dent..... takes about 15 - 30 min per dent, depending on the size and shape of the dent. I had one in my tailgate of my truck, the only way you could see it was with the light going across the light would waver good, the total size was about that of the old IKE dollar... after they got done, even knowing where it was at, I could not find it.... and I watched them do the entire repair..... the paint is going to be one of the larger factors in the repair. color matching is now done by computer. when our van was done, they took and cut about a 4 inch circle out of the old (messed up) fender and sent it in for a computerized match, and you can not tell the difference between the painted new fender and the rest of the vehicle. mike Nawwww blien, I dont know what it cost for that guy..it was 20 years ago at least!LOL!! your friend, john
  10. A picture you put in my mind ... Dad - Blien - Dad - Blien - Dad - Dad - Dad - Blien - Dad - Dad and Blien - Dad - Blien - Dad - Blien - Dad - Blien - Dad - Dad - Blien - Dad - Now that is cool!! Good stuff. LOL!! I cant stop laffing!!! You remind me of the movie,"Ferris bueller", where they took that hot car, ran the miles up.( via a car parker) then tried to get the miles to go backwards, and the car went out the back of the garage!! Shoot blien...Tell me another story!!! I might even send you a few dollars if it makes me laff like this one!!..And, dont worry.....You dad will get over it!!..OH YEH...THERES A GOOD CHANCE HE WONT NOTICE.....AFTER ALL HE SHOULDNT BE GETTING IN THE THE RIGHT SIDE ANYWAYS!!!( not yelling...just hit caps lock!) That means he should never see it! I knew a guy one time who had a goat....and the goat smashed up his passenger side door, i suppose, because of seeing his reflection.....But he never knew it, until hw was showing his buddy his great deal,...and he said something like."Yeh, it only has a few dings in it"....Then his buddy said,"A few dings? it looks like youre gonna need a whole new side to this car!"(refferring to the goat dents)....The car owner bout fainted after seeing what the goat did!! your friend, john
  11. with body repair, your going to get what you pay for...... even if the body work is taken care of pretty good, the paint job may be more important in the repair..... some will just mask around all the trim work and sand it down a bit and then shoot it..... this will leave an edge that can later collect water (or moisture) and then cause it to start blistering or peeling..... some times the insurance thing is the best thing. for one, it can be fixed and drivable faster then if a person has to wait until they have the money to fix it.... most places will not release the vehicle until....UNTIL.... all payments are received for the work done..... with insurance, you will pay your deductible, and with some companies, you may not even have an increase for the first accident...... full coverage (comprehensive) is the only insurance that will cover your vehicle in a single car accident or one that is deemed your fault...... they also have a deal now, that when a car is repaired, it is listed with it's VIN so that any one wanting to purchase it later can access the information about accidents and such..... now.... was there any damage at all to the pillar you hit? I remember this guy that had to get to K.C. airport early in the morning, so he took off and a few blocks down the road, hit an owl with his windshield, busted it good..... drove back home, got his wife to follow him to the shop, left a note to have the windshield repaired (explaining how it happened) and when he returned home from his business trip, was ticketed for leaving the scene of an accident and failure to render aid...... (no joke) just something to think about... mike NOW THAT IS FUNNY!!!!!!....."STOP SIGN?????" Did your dad notice yet? I would say, "Tell your dad you never noticed it"......But thats not being honest...This was always my excuse when I was a kid! your friend, john
  12. What is it that you are looking for dear sister? A friend in Him. Lou F. I'm not looking for anything special. Just wanted to see if there were any books you all have read and found really good. The Shack was awesome!!! Really some eye opening stuff in there, wasnt there!. It had answers to all kinds of questions non believers(and believers) have brought up so many times!! I recently discovered Ted Dekker books..VERY UPLIFTING books!! One of my favorites is "Blessed" the first ov two....About a little boy...with faith.....Wonderful book!!...Black, Red, And White were cool too...alot of jumping back and forth in 2 dimensions sort of, but very good! your friend, john

  15. If I was going to say something, it wouldn't be about abortion, it would be about selective values. There is no such thing as "palestians." It's a made-up term. Perhaps if this humanitarian effort would have went through the proper channels and not tried to run a naval blockade, this wouldn't have happened. The fact of the matter is, if Hamas was not lobing missles and mortars into Israel daily, the attacks on Gaza would never have taken place. Where is your outrage over that? Life is precious, and it's just as precious to Israel. Hey...So what if Cobalt changed the subject to abortion....Abortion should be a main course for Christians to digest!! The boat was still floating anyways! Theyre probably lucky they werent shot to pieces!! your friend, john
