  1. I minister to others as a leter from Christ, not written with pen but with the Spirit of the Living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts. - 2 Corinthians 3:3 I am a minister of the Spirit since God has made me fit and worthy and sufficient as a minister and dispenser of the new covenant. - 2 Corinthians 3:6 As the Spirit of the Lord works in me, I become more and more like Him. - 2 Corinthians 3:18 Since God, in His mercy, has given me this wonderful ministry, I never give up.- 2 Corinthians 4:1 For God who said “let the light shine out of darkness”, made His light shine in my heart to give me the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. - 2 Corinthians 4:6 Every day I experience something of the death of Jesus, so that I may also show the power of the life of Jesus in my body. - 2 Corinthians 4:10 My eyes are fixed, not on the things that are seen, but on the things that are unseen: for what is seen passes away; what is unseen in eternal. - 2 Corinthians 4:18 I live by faith and not by sight. - 2 Coirinthians 5:7 The love of Christ controls me. - 2 Corintians 5:14 He died for me so that I who live - having received eternal life from Him - might live no longer for myself, to please myself; but to spend my life pleasing Christ who died and rose again for me. - 2 Corinthians 5:15 Since I am ingrafted in Christ I am a new creature altogether: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. - 2 Corinthians 5:17 God has given me the ministry of reconciliation, that through Jesus Christ, I might bring others into harmony with Him. - 2 Corinthians 5:18 I am an ambasador for Christ. - 2 Corinthians 5:20 God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him I might become the righteousness of God. - 2 Corinthians 5:21 I am the temple of the living God. - 2 Corinthians 6:16 ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  2. "Therefore, since we are receiving a Kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire." - Hebrews 12:28-29 Even though things are being shaken where we currently stand we have access to a Kingdom that is shaken by NOTHING. If He has spoken that we win, then, we must continue to fight in FAITH until we win! Our God is with us and He is an all-consuming fire! Part of our mandate as Christians is to raise the breathing dead who have no life and no hope - they exist everywhere. (Ezekiel 37) ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  3. Hello, First of all I want to say hi I am new at the forum. I really need advice and help from other Christians in a situation that's been a problem for me since I was a little girl. I'll try to make this post as short as possible. I've always had problems with my mom. She has always been very immature and irresponsible. I remember being 5 years old and thinking about how immature she was when she had tantrums against my grandmother, who practically raised me. My parents were both teenagers, but my dad has always been more responsible. My mom wanted to "live life" and enjoy youth so it was my dad and mostly my grandma who took care of me. During this time my mom was very irresponsible and had a lot of boyfriends..one of this relationships resulting in a pregnancy and we never saw the dad again, we live in a small town, so it was scandalous. My mom and I lived with my grandmother until I was 5 when my mom remarried and my stepdad took my brother as his. I was physically hurt by both my mom and stepfather, my stepdad used to hurt me a lot emotionally I still struggle with those things. Until my teenage years I was an excellent student, I earned a lot of awards and my mom was never there, she became addicted to her job, she left the house before 6am and got home after 10pm. During all this time I was very active at church and even a leader at teenager spiritual retreats. What I mean is, that instead of going rebel I became model child. This didn't stop my mom beating me for me getting a B or just being mad and me thinking it was unfair. I went back to live with my grandma. During all this time my mom kept on having more children... none of which she made the time for. She has never been maternal, still she kept on having more and more kids. For all my life I've always been closer to boys than girls. A therapist told me it was because of my relationship with my mother I didn't trust women. I saw women being promiscuous and emotionally hurting my male cousins and it gave me emotional breakdowns, I wondered if I was the only woman on Earth to not be a bad person or use my body and sex to manipulate others. It still gets me nervous to see girls showing skin on social network. At age 20 I moved with my boyfriend who had also been one of my closest friends since I was 14. We weren't married since he was an atheist and I stopped going to church. We had a lot of problems and he didn't want to go to couple counseling or anything else. We also had a son during this time. Thank God, in 2013 and my then boyfriend now husband accepted Jesus as his savior and is now an amazing man and leader at our Church. He loves to serve God and other through our Church. We got married. I have been blessed. Still... my husband's conversion to Christianity came along with the confession of things I didn't yet know that he did through our relationship. Like him talking to other women on social media during years... one of which he had sex with. Even though my husband has done everything a woman could ask to rebuilt the relationship, I know I will never fully heal, and this made my feelings against promiscuous women a lot worse. Do not get me wrong, I know it was my husband who failed me, but since I had the repulsion for seek attention, promiscuous women... and then seeing the woman... that was it. As I said, I just cant stand the look of a woman showing her bodyon social media , offering themselves and trying to get married men, etc. It was my mom all over again. I now link these women to that woman my husband had an affair with and my mom. About 5 years ago my mom and I seemed to fix our relationship. My stepdad and my mom were going to Church and both were leaders there also. Late last year my stepdad and mom separated. And ever since my mom is back into her old ways. So far she's been with at least 4 men that we know of and is neglecting my brothers. She even asked for my approval for this behavior !!!! I replied with an extense and loving letter telling her to do things right, and telling her how much her behavior had hurt me to this day and that I don;t want my brothers to suffer the same... she never even replied. Not even "ok". She just kept on doing it. My brothers are hurting and are starting to hate her. She comments on my social media pictures saying that i look ugly or that i look like a man.... she makes fun of me all the time about EVERYTHING.... just like an immature teenager. I have nightmares all the time and spend all my evenings crying over my husband's shoulder. So recent as this morning she showed me pictures of yet another guy who my grandma know to be a married man. I had a breakdown today and I talked very nasty against my mom. Not to her directly but other people.I said the most terrible things about her and finally said out loud that I hated her.... I don't know what to do. I know I am not being a good Christian and that I am supposed to honor my mother and father.... but then.... does this mean that my mom can do all kinds of sins and then just ask for forgiveness and God will take her back... but God will not take me because of the terrible things I feel against my mom??? Will I not be saved because of the hurt other people has caused me ?? I've had therapy, they do help, but nothing heals. I KNOW it will never heal. I wish it wasn't so, but is reality I just know myself. I am afraid for my relationship with my mom... I know it wont belong until i have a breakdown every time I see her, it is as if this whole situation activated the way I felt with her when I was very young. I am afraid for my relationship with God... I know God is not proud of my words thoughts and feelings against her. What do I do !? Please help. Thank you.
  4. Luke 8:47 is the story of the woman who had an issue of blood who desperately pressed through the crowd to lay hold of the hem of Jesus' garment: "Then the woman, seeing that she could not go unnoticed, came trembling and fell at His feet. In the presence of all the people, she told why she had touched Him and how she had been instantly healed." When she reached out and touched Him, full of faith and expectation, Jesus stopped and said, "Who touched Me? His disciples replied, "Lord, many are touching you...we are in a crowd!" But Jesus said, "No, someone purposely touched Me because I felt virtue/power go out of Me." (See verse 45-46). And the woman was immediately made whole. GOD IS WAITING ON US TO SET THE TIME Most of the time when Jesus was healing the crowds of people He was doing that which He saw the Father doing. But in this instance it wasn't Jesus that "set the time" for this woman's miracle, but rather the woman "set the time" through her faith, desperation and determination. Many times when we are believing for a miracle we may feel we have positioned ourselves and we are waiting on God, when in fact, God is waiting on us to activate our faith to "set the time" for the release of the supernatural turnaround. In the words of John G. Lake, "If the Spirit doesn't move me, then I move the Spirit!" Now is the time for us to "set the time" and put a demand on the anointing of God to release miracles of provision, turnaround and healing. Pull your future miracle into the NOW by activating your faith and pressing into His presence as never before. Remember, every day is Jubilee when you are in Christ! ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  5. Since the moment we first came to Christ, there has been an updraft of the Holy Spirit, a constant drawing from God lifting us upward toward the fullness of His Presence. Lets surrender to this wind of God and allow Him to carry us into our holy future (our DESTINY). The disciples did not just pray and sit around waiting for God to enter the "playing field" to convert the world on His own. They went out into the world so that the Holy Spirit might go into the World. "The Lord worked with them." - Mark 16:20 God plants His purpose in our lives in the epicenter of our heart and it will fuel new exploits in our lives. The first step to getting out of the box is to fellowship with the God of the breakthrough. The Holy Spirit will charge you with fresh vision and boldness. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  6. Psalm 91:1 He that dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. The secret place of the Most High is the human spirit which is the habitation of God. The spirit is deeper than man’s consciousness: it is the place unreachable by man’s findings. It is the place that man fellowships with God. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. God’s order is spirit, soul, and body – the spirit controls the soul, the soul controls the body. The fallen order is soul, body, spirit. John 6:63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life. Jesus tells us that the spirit gives life and that is why we want the spirit to control the soul. Luke 1:46-47 And Mary said: My soul doth magnify the Lord, and my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Savior. My soul ‘magnifies’; my spirit has exalted. The spirit must first exalt before the soul can magnify the Lord. The spirit firsts communicates the exaltation to the soul; the soul expresses this exaltation through the body. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  7. It's time for your DESTINY to be set in motion. Nothing will stop you now! His Love for you overshadows you and those dreams that were incubating in you almost birthing at times will now come forth. There is a glory - a glory of love coupled with your faith that is bringing in that which He has promised. What price can be put on this glory realm? The entrance to the door of this realm is your 'overcoming spirit', wanting at times to give up but not giving into that. You will ride the wave of an overcoming spirit. You overcome in the onslaught of the thoughts of your mind. You overcome in the mundane daily activities. You overcome in the rejection of man. You overcome in the betrayal of those who persecuted you. You overcome in the darkness. You overcome when all you could see was the opposite of what you had living inside of you. He has hidden manna for you (Rev. 2:17) ,that will sustain you and nourish you in ways you have not known. He has given you big dreams to dream and walk out and greatness of heart and bounty of spirit. There is a readiness -- you will go forth NOW and overcome. You will conquer, and as you go and as you pursue, you will increase and you will overtake, for He is with you and His Word is in you! You thought you lost it all but carry this as you go: today you are recovering your dreams He gave you, for you will see what He has said all along become your reality. No more backing up and no more backing down. IT'S TIME! It's yourDeuteronomy 1:11 that says -- "....He will bless you just as He has promised you." ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  8. One of the dimensions of living the way of Christ, besides living a life of love, forgiveness, and service is embracing the spirituality of DOWNWARD MOBILITY. This is a willingness to modify our career, change our location, or whatever other sacrifices we are called to make, for the sake of following Christ's purpose for our life (our destiny). Jesus came so that His Blood may cover our sins. His grace and mercy overflow to us so that we may be all that He has created us to be. He is determined to help us find our destiny into His perfect plan for us. His grace has made it possibe for us to see our destines fulfilled. SIEZING OUR DESTINY Nothing takes the place of stepping out of your comfort zone and out on the limb. Faith is always spelled R-I-S-K! In order to seize your destiny -- step out, God's not only good, He will catch you if you fall and help you to get up and try again! Don’t worry about the people in your past, for the Lord placed them there. He has an important reason why they won’t appear in your future. "Forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 3:13-14 Are we willing to spend and be spent; not seeking to be ministered unto, but to minister? ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY

  18. Luke 17:20,21 - "The kingdom of God comes not with observation. For behold, the kingdom of God is within you." IF WE WAIT QUIETLY BEFORE GOD AND LEARN TO TURN THE EYES OF OUR SOUL TO THE INWARD PARTS OF OUR BEING -- OUR SPIRITS -- WE WILL ENCOUNTER HIM IN THE DEEP LEVELS, AS THAT IS WHERE HIS SPIRIT DWELLS. Matthew 25:30 - "And cast the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth." Affirmation: THE HOLY SPIRIT IS GIVING ME WISDOM AND COURAGE TO STEP OUT AND BEGIN TO FULFILL THE DREAM HE AS BIRTHED SO DEEPLY INSIDE ME. Jude 22 - "And of some have compassion, making a difference." Affirmation: MY HEART RELEASES THE COMPASSION OF JESUS CHRIST TO HELP DELIVER PEOPLE CAUGHT IN THE DECEPTION OF SIN AND DARKNESS AND SET THEM FREE. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
  19. Do you think that a christian woman marrying an unbeliever (muslim in this case) is a sin or not? And what if they love each others? Do you think this kind of love is wrong? Also, if they are to have children and the children become muslims, is it wrong that the christian lets them become muslims (even if she tells them about her own christian beliefs) ? This kind of marriage is not a good idea anyway in my opinion because of the religion issues, but if these things just happen?
  20. I was wondering that what do christians think about christians who veil/use hijab? I put pictures to here to show the type of veiling i mean. I think it's very rare to see any christians veil as this or even using any headcovering, so it's interesting to hear what christians think about it. Do you think it is a good thing or a bad thing ? And say reason why do you think it's bad or good. This topic might be on wrong place here, but i didn't know where else to put it so if there is any possibility to change the place, tell me.

    question's

In the bible at 1 timothy 2:12 it says this "I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man" do us christians still have to follow this today? also i have heared an argument saying that christians think that 1+1+1=1. This is because of the holy trinity it says that the father is god,the son is god and the holy ghost is god. But yet there is only one god. How does that work? Im confused thanks for your help
  22. When it comes to reading and studying the Bible, people often become overwhelmed and confused about versions of the Bible. While the KJV can often be used by many churches, new babes/converts may not always understand the language. Some versions that have helped me to learn more about God and grow spiritually include: The New King James The Amplified Bible The Message Bible They all basically say the same thing, but they are presented differently. There are many others, Check them all out and decide what is best for you.

  24. Has anyone read Pilgrims Progress? This seems like it would be an awesome movie. I haven't read the book, but I've heard a lot of good things about it. Info about the film . **Link removed** HeavenQuest is based on the original work of John Bunyan and his 1678 allegorical masterpiece, The Pilgrim’s Progress. The movie will be directed by Matt Bilen, written and produced by Darren Wilson and the team at WP Films. It will be a highly stylistic, fantastical, and beautiful story with themes of hope, sacrifice, and ultimately salvation. Like Bunyan’s original work, HeavenQuest will feature exotic creatures, eccentric characters and beautiful locations as the story follows a man desperate to escape his dark past and the impending doom that will befall him. He undertakes a dangerous journey filled with peril in hope of finding his freedom. Although reimagined, you’ll still find yourself overlooking the city of Destruction, caught in the Slough of Despond, escaping the caverns of Mt. Sinai, and traveling to the Wicket Gate in this epic retelling. The 300-year-old book that inspired the likes of C.S. Lewis will become an all-new ambitious, heart-warming, action-packed, and inspiring film as it reaches the big screen in 2016. You were disappointed with Exodus. You were upset with Noah. As Hollywood has tried to make films about faith-filled stories, they have too often forgotten that faith also needs to be a part of the story itself. Our goal with this film is to change things. We want to make the Christian film you’ve always wanted to see--one that is exciting, entertaining, with high production values, but that doesn’t shy away from faith, struggle, and redemption. For years now, people have been asking us when we are going to make a feature film that isn’t a documentary. Well, the time is now. While we will continue to make God-honoring documentaries, we have always had a heart for narrative film, and are excited to begin that journey with one of the most iconic and beloved stories in literary history. As we began to look at doing this story, we delved into some of the reasons other Christian films with lower budgets didn’t fare so well, and we’ve built both a story and a style that will allow us the kind of flexibility that you need to be able to make a movie with more limited resources. While $1.2 million may sound like a lot, it is a low-budget amount in the world of narrative feature films. So we’ve made the tough decision to make HeavenQuest only about the beginning of the overall journey. The focus, obviously, will be on the main character, Christian. As with any adaptation, we have had to change certain elements and reshape others, but we have tried hard to stay true to the core story and message of the book. One of the trickier aspects to deal with was the fact that the original story is a blatant allegory (where everything has a very literal and obvious meaning), whereas modern audiences are not used to this kind of storytelling. To that end, we’ve kept some of the core allegorical elements of the characters (Christian, Mr. Worldly Wiseman, Mr. Legality, etc…) but we’ve set the action in a more realistic world--albeit a fantastical one. Matt Bilen came to us with a very singular, fascinating vision for this film, and it was one that appealed to us artistically, but also was very pragmatic in its approach. The film will have a visceral, stylistic, and realistic feel. Our experience making documentaries has taught us many techniques in creating a hand-held “you are there” approach, and we will use lighting and negative space in creative ways to create various moods, but also to avoid expensive details in the background. Matt has done great work in gathering a first rate team together, from award-winning special effects artists to amazingly talented post-production personnel. We are working hard to make this not only a powerful film, but one that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
