It was a promising one and people still look at me like I'm crazy. I look in the mirror everyday and my youth is fading fast, my hair line receding, that adventurous look in my gleaming blue eyes is fading. That risk taker is now afraid half the time and left with no one but You, Jesus. A Raggedy Man, torn from the pages of this meaningless life. Yet, yet, look there behind the eyes and into the mirror of his soul, there's that man in the vision. The one whose sole hope is You, he carries a burden and it's a secret to everyone who see's nothing but peace. He carries the Gospel and the Truth and it's a heavy burden, he's even thought stupid and sometimes irrational because of it. He doesn't fit into the cookie cutter shape of this American Dream anymore and he's Raggedy about the edges. God gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Wait on Him! He comes with power and His arm rules for HIm. See His reward is with Him and His recompense accompanies Him. Oh' Jacob, Oh' Israel He hasn't forsaken thee!
