I think it's a great idea to get people motivated and involved with fighting evil. I also like the idea of encoraging people to learn more about Church/Christian history. I have some concerns with some of the theology expressed, though. What do you mean by "continuing your help in Heaven"? I didn't have time to look through all of it but it is a good idea. One thing that bothered me was you ask us for our names if we should decide to join you, but I don't see anywhere you offered your own. If you are serious about doing this you will have to become close to those who are involved. I know from experience when you start fighting the battles with the dark side, you should know who you're fighting with and how each of you/us might see what and who the fight is with. Ephesians 6 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, One needs to be well grounded in the Word of God. The passage of the armor of God is Ephesians 6:10-18 for anyone interested in reading it. 10 Finally, my brothers, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the world's rulers, of the darkness of this age, against spiritual wickedness in high places . 13 Therefore take to yourselves the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Therefore stand, having your loins girded about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness 15 and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. 16 Above all, take the shield of faith, with which you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching to this very thing with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. As Jesus told us, some of them take prayer and fasting to deal with, and if you are seriously going to be involved in spiritual warfare, you have to pray almost constantly to keep a upper hand on what "might" come your way. It's really hurtful to watch someone who has been listening to people like Kenneth Copeland who tells people to go looking for some demon butt to kick around. I've seen many good Christians beat up a bit over such actions. While Jesus and the power of his name will overcome the dark side, you have to be very involved with the Spirit so handle some of it....... as verse 18 says " praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching to this very thing with all perseverance and supplication for all saints" Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
