I see a lot of people ignoring my post about blaspheming the holy spirit. I also see them ignoring my posts about stone throwing.

Instead of rubbishing Benny Hinn, how about giving actual examples of HOW he's a false prophet. Something that I haven't noticed anyone doing yet.

Go to cbc.ca.....do a search on Benny Hinn......scroll down to "CBC: The Fifth Estate - Do You Believe in Miracles".....you'll see a link to watch the entire documentary. It's 41 minutes long.............watch it.

You can also go to Tangle.com and do a search on him.

Youtube also has some things you should see.

Love God and also your neighbor, judge not lest ye be judged, only God can judge the heart of man. (paraphrases)

It seems some have given up basic Christianity for zealotry.

I haven't followed Benny Hinn, I know he is the guy with the white suits. You won't find me judging him. When I come across questionable interpretations or ministry I don't agree with, I check the Word and trust God for the answers.

I imagine if people spent as much time on compassionate acts as they did accusing the brethren they would have testimonies to share instead of venom.

David Wilkerson had no problem addressing Benny Hinn . . . . he simply let's the word of God be the discerner . . . see here

As do I.

If you have any questions about this individual, do some honest research and see for yourself. If you're truly honest with yourself, you'll see that the claims made concerning this individual are not unfounded.

No one here has given up basic Christianity. The Word is crystal clear as to what we are to do when we come across situations such as the one being discussed here.

"Compassionate acts" take on many forms. One of those forms is the distribution of information that could very well save the soul of someone who is unaware.

I will be the first to admit that much, maybe most of what of what passes as ministry today is likely an abomination. I am just saying that I will not spend my time calling attention to it. I saw that Wilkerson clip, I am grieved for both men because the pulpit should be considered a holy place.

I prefer to devote my time to actually doing things that demonstrate the love of Christ. People see Christ through goodness, not through vengeance.

Making accusations to root out false prophets can only be considered compassion if you choose to ignore what that word actually means.

Let God defend Himself and go about demonstrating the truth you have been given in the Word.

What do these verses actually mean?

Ephesians 5

11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.

Romans 16

17 Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them.

18 For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple.

2 Thessalonians 3

6 But we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you withdraw from every brother who walks disorderly and not according to the tradition which he received from us.

Let God defend Himself and go about demonstrating the truth you have been given in the Word.

God has no need to defend Himself.

The Word gives us many truths. A couple can be found in the verses above.

Speaking the truth can hardly be considered "vengeance".

You have a point in Eph 5: only, and even that verse can be interpreted to mean the same as the next two verses. The essence of which is to avoid false teachers. In Ephesians The word for expose is most commonly used as reprove, which in this instance would be to give evidence why he is wrong. But I don't see any evidence being provided here, I see a lot of innuendo which is not far from a gossip thread.

consider your motivation.

Consider the words of God who can defend Himself . . . .

Nu 25:7 When Phinehas the son of Eleazar, son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he rose and left the congregation, and took a spear in his hand

8 and went after the man of Israel into the inner room, and pierced both of them, the man of Israel and the woman, through her body. Thus the plague was stayed from the people of Israel.

9 Nevertheless those that died by the plague were twenty-four thousand.

10 And the LORD said to Moses,

11 "Phinehas the son of Eleazar, son of Aaron the priest,
has turned back my wrath from the people of Israel, in that he was jealous with My jealousy among them
, so that I did not consume the people of Israel in My jealousy.

12
Therefore say, 'Behold, I give to him My covenant of peace;

13
and it shall be to him, and to his descendants after him, the covenant of a perpetual priesthood,
because he was jealous for his God
, and made atonement for the people of Israel.

To Blindseeker. How would you put that into today's context. Are you willing to be the guy with a spear?

You know that Jesus threw hardly any spears at all. But If He had it would have been acceptable because He knew the heart of man and God. As soon as you reach that level go find that spear.

To Man:

Brother I am trying hard not to offend you, just trying to help you from your own judgments by which you will be judged. My motivation is I dislike Christian backbiting.

edit: I will watch your link when I have more time. You should know however that the CBC has had a strong anti Christian Liberal agenda for a very long time.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
