The fate of Michaels soul is in the hands of God.

Perhaps we should just leave it at that.

Only God Knows

Those are my thoughts exactly, and I am leaving it in God's hands.

I hope this is true. I think it probably is for some reason.

I hope it's true too. It appears Michael Jackson was a VERY unhappy man in life; I really hope he went home to the Lord.

Not very Muslim of him to be seeking spiritual advice from Christians! :emot-questioned:

A true devout Muslim would not do this - ever.

We can only hope.

It's absolutely true: God is the Final Judge. "Shall not the Judge of all earth do right?" But the Holy scriptures also state that "By their fruits you'll know them." Michael Jackson's "fruits" were expressed in newspaper accounts: perversion re kids, drugs unlimited, Hellyweirdo associations, and a determined flirting with the satanic "Jehovah's False Witnesses" cult. Deeds speak louder than words.

perversion re kids

I'm not sure I believe any of that. One case was totally thrown out and the mother of the 'victim' who was paid off, admitted she lied in order to sue walmart, saying their security people attacked her. I think she also had her son (the 'victim') lie in the Walmart case. As well, what kind of parent takes money over seeing a perpetrator jailed? One who wants money. I do believe Jackson had very stupid boundaries and bad judgment though.

OK - the question is whether or not Jackson accepted Christ into his life soon before his death. What he did or did not do before that time is irrelevant.

We do know there were Christians who spoke to him and prayed with him not too long before he died. Whether or not that bore fruit, we do not know for sure.

Since, none of us will probably ever know if MJ did indeed turn to Christ before his death... how is this thread edifying at all? One poster slams him, another defends him, slam, defend, slam... What is the point of this? Anything that is said about his trials and tribulations while alive are based on speculation - he was never actually convicted of anything... He's been dead almost 2 months now.... Mods - can we put a cap on this one? :24:

That was my point. We are too quick to convict and judge. I tend to try to see the positive whenever I can and give the benefit of the doubt whenever possible. After all, who am I to condemn someone else? Only God knows where his heart was at. I am glad to see he wasn't being a good Muslim by contacting well-known Chrisitians on matters of spirituality, so that gives me great hope.

I didn't know every thread had to be edifying?

Well - they should have a certain amount of purpose that is not to tear another human beings to shreds with conjecture, gossip and hypothesis, etc. I hope his soul finds peace and rest....
