Hi Onelight.

Forget the Mormons and any other religious sect. Its "what is written," and what Jesus said that matters regarding the heavens and the Earth.

Forget the word planet if it doesnt suit you. Its just a word.Gather all the scriptures provided in the above two posts and see how similar both Heaven and the Earth are. In Hebrews it is stated, "But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city." (Hebrews 11:16). The disciples called heaven a "better country" than the one they were in. Country, planet, who cares what its called. It does exist and its as real as the ground you and I are standing upon right now.

Its not dissimilar to us being created in the "Image and likeness of God." There is nothing pretend or maybe about God, His children,(us), and His creation. Its all there, its real, all we need do is look up.

Is there life out there in the vast endless universe? Scripture says there is. "Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time." (Rev. 12:12).

Rejoice YE, (plural), Heavens, (Plural), and Ye that dwell in Them, (Plural).

It was never about scripture, but how you worded it. I agree that there will be a new earth and new heavens, as scripture tells us. I also agree that the New Jerusalem, being 1500 cubic miles will rest on the new earth, which has to be larger then the one we now have to have such a beautiful structure rest on it without throwing out of balance. Yes, this is a place.

We will definately know each other as Jesus knows us, right now.

By the way, did u know that our Heaven is not some where up there?

The scripture says, the Lord will descend as you see him going up.

Then we will be changed instantly for eternity, we will never die again, and our GOD will live with his people on these very earth, i still LOVE SOUTH AFRICA, during resurrection i will chose to build my house here.

I forgot to remember to remind you that GOD's original plan was that we live in or at this very same earth, then satan and his angels derailed GODs plan. So after resurrection GOD will finally complete his plan.

Satan is not capable of derailing God's plan.

what was the devil's first lie?

Please read Genesis 3:4. It says, satan said to Eve, you shall not surely die. He said sin will not bring death.

It is very clear that God did not want that to happen, read further the whole chapter 3.

Are you happy with the explanation?

Do you believe that Satan has the power to actually surprise God, or do something that will thwart God's eternal plans?

now let's take this very slowly,

I believe we will have the same bodies we have now, only they will be redeemed, glorified, just as our Lords body.

I don't think so. Some bodies are beautiful and some, well, aren't so beautiful. I'm talking specifically about faces. I don't think we can have a face in heaven because wouldn't we be able to say "oh what a beautiful face" or "oh how ugly is he". And if it is a sin to lust another person's body or face, why would He put that same body in heaven? I kind of think that we're all going to be recognizable spirits.

I know what I'm saying but I just can't say it right. How frustrating. Sorry if I confused you all.

The answer to your frustration is simple, just look at Jesus, when he appeared to his desciples on the 3rd day when he rose, we will be exactly like him, he did not change, uglier or otherwise the only change was the eternal part that he will never die again.
