9 They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them.

Fire coming out of the sky is not hell..........sorry.

Let us both agree that, as we speak, there is no fire burning right now in that hell that you are refering to/ that you are currently believing in.

Surely if that is true, then there will be no purpose at all for the ressurection/ judgement.

So now that fire coming down, will be switching hell ON, that is that will be fire for hell.

The fire coming down from heaven in Revelation 20:9 is God's physical destruction of a group of people who oppose Him. The passage has nothing to do with hell. In verse 10, Satan, the Beast and the False Prophet are thrown into the lake of fire, but we are not told where that is. I feel that Hell is in the deep interior of the earth, but that is supposition on my part. The Bible does not emphatically state where hell is. All we know is that it exists, going there means eternal seperation from God, and we should do our best to get the Gospel out and make sure as many people as possible don't go there.

I am very aware that you always believed what you currently know about hell, you also do agree that you do not know where hell is. Please read Revelation 20:1-15. It tells you that fire came down from heaven to consume satan. Verse 10. theafter the dead verse 12, and the dead were judged according to their deeds.

Please don't be so arrogant. You have been shown wrong many times. Please read the scriptures we have provided because scripture doesn't contradict. Rev 20 is not about hell.

First spoken is the bottomless pit where Satan is bound for 1000 years. He is then let loose for "a season" to gather another army. but he, and his army, is struck down by God and thrown into the Lake of Fire. Then we read where Death and Hades is cast into the Lake of Fire, along with everyone who's name is not in the Book of Life. Nowhere does it say that Hades is here on earth. Hell itself is a spiritual place that we can not see. Just as we can not see the spirits of those who are there. That would mean that it is in it's own dimension, one that we have been told about, but have no idea where it is.

Don't be confused, you understand, in the beginning of your input you say "Jesus parable", it is a parable, Jesus wants to tell us the existence of two classes of people, the rich and poor. Nothing else.

Actually, no one needed to prove the roundness of the Earth - that's a fallacy that somehow got perpetuated. The ancient Greek astronomers already determined that the Earth is round. The question was over how far around the Earth is, the circumference. Copernicus had calculated the Earth's circumference to be one size, someone else had determined it to be a different, smaller size. Columbus was arguing the smaller size. As it turns out, Columbus was wrong; Copernicus had the more correct calculation.

I am so surprised that you could read the entire Bible and you could not pickup/ find out where hell is.

I am surprised you believe the location of Hell is essential knowledge.

The way i am handling this discussion is not poor, but rather different, it will finally make it clear to all who always believed what they are currently believing.

When you talk down to people, it is poor.

Until now, it seems to me that no one can confidently pinpoint exactly where hell is.

It is for this reason that i decided to conduct this discussion this way.

Again, what bearing does the location of Hell have on one's salvation, one's relationship with God, etc.?

So please bear with me as we are unpacking/ discovering that hell is for real and it is here on this very earth that we are living in.

I agree that Hell is for real.

Now we have had more than one debate on this board about Hell - comparing the hand-me-down knowledge of Hell with Scripture.

It's been debated whether Sheol/Hades is Hell, or if Hell is actually the Lake of Fire.

It's been discussed how the valley of Gahenna was the visual representation of Hell that Jesus spoke of.

But you are the first person who has argued that Hell is on Earth.

And you are the first to insist that this is an essential understanding/belief for faith.
