Smith. Smith plays an associate pastor/worship leader of a wealthy mega-church who is "sent to minister" at The Second Chance, the poor and forgotten-in-all-but-donations inner city church founded by the senior pastor of the mega-church. The reason for being sent? He's being punished for giving the pastor of The Second Chance some pulpit time, where the pastor used the opportunity to harshly rebuke the mega-church for forsaking them (the "we don't need your money, we need you" kind of rebuke). My brother is a youth leader to some inner city teens, and they expressed that this movie did an excellent job at portraying what the inner city is really like. Because I can't read for long I love watching movies, but these days I lean more towards sermon-type dvd's and Christian debates. Gets the brain going, but unfortunately isn't so relaxing as a movie, and doesn't go so well with popcorn and chocolate! John Macarthur does some great sermon-type dvds if you are interested.
