Well it seems that no one read the original post. I've already mentioned that it's impossible for angels to father children. They're neuter beings.

The bene Elohim are righteous men; the Nephilim are fallen. The two categories are not even mentioned as being the same. Again, read the ORIGINAL POST.

you will not find anywhere in the OT that God calls men "bene Elohim." So to conclude that is a personal decision not something based from scripture.

Nope:

"Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before the Lord GOD." (Exo 23:17)

The commandment is issued to the sons of God:

"Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them." (Job 1:6)

Satan was the accuser of the brethren, who accused them day and night before God:

"And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death." (Rev 12:9-11)

The term "sons of God" is singular (ben elohiym) in the Hebrew in the following verse, and so are the Hebrew words for "mroning stars" (Hebrew boqer kokab - morning star):

"When the morning star sang in unity (Hebrew: yachad), and with fullness the son of God (Hebrew ben elohiym) shouted for joy?" (Job 38:7)

Actually, he uses the term for men in Gen 6 and for heavenly malachim (angels) in Job.

The three times a year are the feasts of God where all are to gather together and we see Yeshua doing just that for Passover as well as other times, Exo. 23 cannot be refering to the Job verses. The Job passage is what is considered the Divine council and where oh where do you see God, humans and Satan gathered together? The Job 1:2 is repeated in Job 2:1 where does the sons of God present themselves? in heaven? on earth? Job 38 is speaking of creation, man was not yet created so how can you attribute the sons of God and the host of heaven to man? God is in some ways mocking Job, 'Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Who determined the measuring line? Or who laid the cornerstone When the morning stars sang together and All the sons of God shouted for joy' man cannot be seen here so these sons of Gods are angels and not men. There is no place in the OT where sons of God are refered to as humans it is only after Yeshuas death and resurrection that we are now qualified to be sons of God.

Well put mizzdy

Naah, not so well put, IMO. Where were the brethren while Satan was accusin' them before God as Revelation 12 says he was - in heaven, or on earth? So why should the sons of God (a.k.a the brethren) have been appearing before God in heaven with Job while Satan was accusing them before God?

Check it out - where had Satan been just before HE appeared before God to accuse the brethren?:

And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? " (Job 1:7-8)

So ya see, it's really simple: Job was the LORD's faithful remnant in the earth and went with the sons of God to present Himself before the LORD in the earth (probably at the place the temple was later to be built), and because the LORD IS OMNIPRESENT, the sons of God in the earth could present themselves before the LORD, and Satan, because he's the accuser of the brethren, says,

"... Doth Job fear God for nought?... (Job 1:9)

It takes a little imagination of course, but one CAN turn this reference to the sons of God (aka the brethren) into a reference to angels/fallen angels, etc if one wants to. But is there enough Biblical reason to infer such an imaginative interpretation? Naaah.

O.K it's not a matter of life or death how you see it. I'm just

Job 38 is speaking of creation,

God is in some ways mocking Job, 'Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth?

"... When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth: When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep: When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth: Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him; Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men." (Pro 8:27-31)

Let's put the Hebrew words and their English equivalents in:

Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it? Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;

... When the boqer kokab (morning star) sang yachad (in unity), and kol (with the whole, all) ben elohiym (son of God) shouted for joy? (Job 38:4-7)

"By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses." (Psa 33:6-7).

Funny, but nowhere in Genesis 1 or in Proverbs, or in Psalms - or anywhere else in the Bible - are we told that angels were present when God created the heavens and the earth by his Word.

We're not even told ANYWHERE in the Bible that angels were created AFTER Adam, nor are we told ANYWHERE that angels were created BEFORE Adam. We just assume that's the case, because

1 Satan appeared to Eve in the garden. But this doesn't even imply that Satan had been created BEFORE Adam - it simply states that he appeared to Eve in the garden.

2. We are told that plants and animals were created BEFORE Adam.

3. Because Job says:

... When the boqer kokab (morning star) sang yachad (in unity), and kol (with the whole, all) ben elohiym (son of God) shouted for joy? (Job 38:4-7) and the words have been translated into English as "... When the morning stars (plural) sang together, and all the sons of God (plural) shouted for joy"

It's a pity that the Hebrew words don't actually imply such an interpretation, because in Hebrew

1 ben elohiym = son of God (singular).

2.benei elohiym = sons of God (plural).

3. boqer kokab = morning star (singular)

How many morning stars are there, anyway?

"... I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star." (Rev 22:16)

"... When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:..." (Pro 8:27)

"Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth?"

Sorry, but I'm a Berean at heart. I don't believe everything I'm taught. Sounds to me like assumptions + imagination = "sons of God in Genesis 6 and in Job refers to angels"

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
