I guess asking not to beaten up, is the equivalent of asking to be beaten up.

Anyway no I am not a messianic Jew. I am just writing a book and wanted some of your opinions of the seven laws of Noah. The fact that less than 1% of you know what I am talking about is the reason I

I do not turn away from the Jewish things, I simply know Jesus Christ is all of God's Word, and thus He is over all His Word, and before all His Word, and He has chosen in His Word to establish new things, when He comes back He will establish more of the Old Testament, but if we chose to believe in all the New Testament we should realize we are not under any law of the Old Testament, we are under Christ of The New Testament.

You do know that the Christ of the New Testament is the God of the Old Testament, don't you?

You know, the God who gave the Feasts to begin with!

The feasts and much more in the OT are types and shadows of which the NT is the substance. While the types have great value for instructive purposes, I should not live in the shadows when I have the full Light of the Substance.

Let's see -

Communion = Scripture reading + rememberance + wafer + swallow of grape juice or wine

Passover = Scripture + rememberance + fellowship + feasting

Hmmmmmm. . . .

Passover = looking forward = unfulfilled

Communion = looking backward = It is Finished

Heb 10:7 Then I said, Lo, I come (in the volume of the Book it is written of Me) to do Your will, O God."

Heb 10:8 Above, when He said, "Sacrifice and offering, and burnt offerings and offering for sin You did not desire, neither did You have pleasure in them" (which are offered according to the Law),

Heb 10:9 then He said, "Lo, I come to do Your will, O God."

He takes away the first so that He may establish the second.

I desire people would know, I love the Old Testament ways, but they are not as high as the ways of The anointed One, His Ways are Higher. One major reason this is true is because when He came first, they refused Him, and His way to do the Old Covenant, and the Jews Killed Him, and the Romans also, but in killing Him, He made the necesity of loving Him, and believing in Him, far more important then the Older Testament sacrifices, feast days, holy days, and eating, and drinking in certain ways, he shows a way which is new, to save all the elect, and to bring in the full teaching of who He is, so we would embrace Him, and do His will. Now one reason why the Old Testment laws do not continue, is because He is them, and told us to do something else, because of the disobedience of the Jews, and because He is choosing to have mercy upon everyone now, and not just Israel in the natural. In the song of Moses, we can see God promised when Israel in the natural had disobedience God would punish them, He has done this, and continues to do this, yet the purpose is to set them free from all sin, but many do not see that. Those who do not fully receive the sacrifice of Christ, and think they must still be involved in the Older Testament teachings, Christ is the Older Testament teachings, and yet is Higher then them. Thus God has chosen to change teachings, to establish His will in the way He choose through Christ, not through the Law of Moses.

AFJ...I truly believe you are a brother and you are living a life of real faith.....but....some of the things you say tell me that you have been discipled by a culturally western christian religious system instead of the pure Word.

I desire people would know, I love the Old Testament ways, but they are not as high as the ways of The anointed One, His Ways are Higher.

He is the Living Torah. He can not contradict Himself. He IS the Old Testament just as He IS the New. The same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.....

Only man's understanding of Him has changed. His ways are eternal.

The Anointed One has given the Feast Days to remind us and keep us in Him. Men have decided they don't like (because they don't understand) His Feasts and went to plan B with Easter & Christmas and many other cultural replacement celebrations...which I have no problem with.

Yes...believing in Him is far more important than holidays...but are you really satisfied to stay in such an embryonic state?

You simply have no idea what you are missing. Please don't take this the wrong way but you are totally ignorant of 2/3rds of the Bible and therefore your foundation for understanding the New Testament is faulty at best.

A person can be (and usually is) saved without having ever read either Old or New Testaments. The Holy Spirit can guide you to repentance and write the law on your heart. It's still the law.

Once you have been saved, the New Testament is milk that teaches and weans you from a child to maturity...but Christ is the goal of the law.

When you are ready for some delicious prime rib steak....we'll be glad to explain what you're missing but you will have to toss all your assumptions out the window and reprove everything by the Word alone.

It's all based on the Old Testament...get the history of the world up to Jesus and you will understand a LOT about why the world is like it is....and exactly what it means to be saved from the law of sin and death (this is NOT referring to the Torah) and you will then see how Yeshua came to give us the spiritual understanding of the law...not to do away with it...but to give it the fullest proper meaning

He does not divorce Himself from Himself by making the law void.

Well the written Word comes from The Word, being God, even out of Him, and so therefore the things which are written are for our learning to bring us to Christ, we need to come to Him. You see the law of Moses does not stop the promise given to Abraham, the promise is done by faith, and not by the Law of Moses, the promise is for those who do the Law of Moses, and for those who do not, Abraham was justified, without circumcision, and thus that is a type, of not doing the Laws of Moses, and then after that faith was come, He was told to be circumcised, and thus that spiritually speaks of doing the Law of Moses, so a person is not justified, by not doing the Laws of Moses, or doing the Laws of Moses, a person is justified, by the faith of Abraham, and in the New Testament that comes by the promise, which does not disanull the teachings of Messiah, The promise is for Him, and His teachings, The apostle Paul got into His teaching very indeptly, and all the other apostle, you see they all ended up preachings, and teaching the same things. So then we who are of faith are the children of Abraham, as Galatians, and Ephesians says.

I think as Christians celebrating Passover would have a much, much deeper meaning. Of course, my father was so confused the day they became completed jews that he came home and decorated the menorah and lit the tree.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
