In light of the Cain and Able thread, i have reread Gen 1, 2 and have some other questions regarding other people in the event of creation. Could it be possible that God could have created other people before of at the same time He created Adam? In Gen 1:31 it appears that creation was complete at this point. It also seems to confirm this in Gen 2:1. I have heard that Genesis 1 is a overview. IT seems to me that it appears as it is, complete, and Adam was a special event. :noidea:

Could it be that in Gen 2:5 when is says that God had no one to tend His Garden, could it be it ment that He had no one that is directly connected to Him? Blood line to Jesus? :noidea:

Not trying to start some cult!!! It appears to me that a lot of you are smarter that I, so I humbly ask

The simple most straightforward answer is: No. God created Adam and Eve only, there were no other human being created by God. It is according to God's economy and by His sovereignty that Jesus came from the "seed of man," of the Adamic race. Were it otherwise He could not have brought salvation to Adam's race.

Ovedya....did Christ come from the seed of man or the seed of women...no man had any part in it, was Christ not conceived by the Holy Spirit.

Theologically Christ is the seed of the woman, yes. What I meant was simply the following:

"Concerning His Son, who came out of the seed of David according to the flesh," (Rom. 1:3)

The "seed of David" in this verse refers to two things: First, it refers to His earthly kingship. Through his mother Christ was the true King of Israel. Yet also this refers to Christ's humanity. Jesus Christ was as human as He was divine.

Next: "The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham:" (Matt.1:1).

Jesus was the son of David, the literal son? No. Again this refers to his lineage. The Gospel of Matthew is said to be "the Gospel of "the king Savior" because it calls Jesus the son of David. Also in this Gospel is the emphasis on the kingdom of the heavens and the kingdom of God. It also calls him the "Son of Abraham." Abraham was the father of all the Jews. It was to him that the promise of God was given. Therefore Jesus is "the son of the promise."

Next: "And He, Jesus, when He began to minister, was about thirty years old, being, so it was thought, the son of Joseph, the son of Heli...The son of Enosh, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God.." (Luke. 3:23, 28)

In this passage Adam is called the son of God. Luke's Gospel is referred to a "The Gospel of the man-Savior" Luke traces Jesus' lineage further back than Matthew - all the way back to Adam, in fact. This means that Jesus is the "son of Adam," having come from Adam. This fact is confirmed again by Paul, who wrote the book of Romans (Sometimes referred to as "the fifth Gospel"): "For if by the offense of the one death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ. So then as it was through one offense unto condemnation to all men, so also it was through one righteous act unto justification of life to all men." (Rom. 5:17-18 cf. vv.12-21)

Paul refers to Christ's human lineage here. Were it not for Christ coming from the Adamic race, through which death reigned, He would not have been able to accomplish redemption of all humankind.

I really want this discussion to stop at this point, dear brother, because you're going down a road of thought that quickly leads to heresy. There are false doctrines which are sometimes complicated and very convoluted, which essentially deny that Jesus came from the race of Adam. These are very dangerous unorthodox doctrines that we at Worthy do not give even an inkling of place to.

Simply: get these thoughts out of your head. Even the conjecture - even the notion of such things - is contrary to orthodox Christian doctrine and theology. Don't even venture them.

It was just a few questions :noidea: I have no doulbts as to the reasons why Christ came, the fall of man, and the work of His grace. Iam not trying to start a "Waco". Jesus is still the only way to the Heven, as i have mention before, i think this is good for all of us. Proverbs 27:17  This was fun!

Bellybuttons are not products of evolution. They are products of being born.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
