Do you still deliberately sin? For example, you want something so badly but because you don't have money you steal it anyway, and later purchase it (an example is downloading software)? Or you know your not to do something, but you do it anyway? Not because you can't help it, but because the temptation is too great?

I do I have battled with temptation that I give into forever. It only seems there was a short period maybe 2 years were I was completly sold out to God, now it just seems when the hard times come that I usually bring upon myself that I turn to God with a sold out heart. Its terrible because I havealways felt I was called into full time ministry and I continue to have stumblingblocks. I know no one is perfect. I am hard on myself yet sometimes I can give in to the world and worry about it the next day.

Anyone of us can succumb at any moment. We all struggle with the same sin nature and will until we die.

I wonder though, if you deliberately sin against God, having received Jesus, and yet doing wrong while knowing it.. do you still go to Heaven?

do i? not with stealing or anything physical like that. but i would have to say that yes, i think i do when it comes to those sins hidden from the world... you know, the thoughts i entertain, my lax approach to my prayer life at times, that sort of thing.

but God convicts me really strong and really quickly about physical actions. like one day i went to walmart to buy two covered litter boxes. they were the only two there... they were two toned, or at least one of them was, and the other had the bottom staked inside the top. even the employee helping me didn't see it, and thought that it was missing the bottom half, and she was a supervisor, so she marked it down half price and told me if the top didn't fit my litterbox at home, i could return it. well, i paid for the items, left the store, got out to the car, and realized the bottom half WAS there.

i really just wanted to go home. i stood there kinda arguing with God for a minute... "i'll go back later, i don't want to go back in and stand in line, i'm tired, i'm hungry, God, i'll do it LATER!".

yeah well, God thumped me in the noggin and reminded me that i was a liar because i KNEW i wouldn't go back later. so i turned around and went back in with the receipt, took it to customer service and said "i need to pay you more money". lol, the customer service girl though i'd lost my mind. but at least i was straight with God.

now, if i could just be more obedient when it comes to those sins that the world doesn't see....

If this were the case, we would all be crispy critters.

1Jn 1:4 And we write these things to you so that your joy may be full.

1Jn 1:5 And this is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all.

1Jn 1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.

1Jn 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

1Jn 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

1Jn 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1Jn 1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Word is not in us.

Rom 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

Rom 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Let me add a litte note to that..if you are deliberately stealing or whatever be assured your Father will come and discipline you.. be assured for if He did not discipline you ...

Heb 12:8 But if you are without chastisement, of which all are partakers, then you are bastards and not sons.

Heb 12:9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh who corrected us, and we gave them reverence. Shall we not much rather be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live?

Heb 12:10 For truly they chastened us for a few days according to their own pleasure, but He for our profit, that we might be partakers of His holiness.

Thanks, I have been disciplined.. believe me. It was and is not fun.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
