Then follow this feeling to it's logical conclusion. The people elected Representatives to vote on their behalf. They created and passed a bill through the democratic process. This is the exact reaction that the folks who pushed this nonsense are counting on. God help us when this bill destroys our economy. This wasn't and isn't about Health Care. It's about controlling your life. If you want to be the rich man's wife, have at it. After all, Abigail was give to David because Nabal was a fool. We should not be looking to the Government to take care of us. Peace, Dave I am not saying it will work for you. Neither am I trying to make a case for what is happening in the USA. How can I when I don't live there? But it works for us Ahh Fez . I've kicked that can around here before as well. It works for us, I like it. Americans don't want it. Each to their own.. The problem I have is that a citizens of a democratic country are being forced to accept something they don't want. That's wrong! And many of my brethren across the pond are mightily upset and angered by this. Regardless of how I feel about this bill in particular, or about socialised medicine, I do feel empathy for them. Actually Andy we don't live in a democracy, we live in a republic..... in a democratic government the government is supposed to follow the will of the people....... in a republic, we elect people to represent us in the government, but they are supposed to do what is best for our country and for those they represent....... sometimes what is best for the country is not what is popular. Sometimes those in Washington have to do hard things that no one really wants. Is this one of those instances....... I really don't know. I do know that just about everyone says that what we had was not going to last long before it simply fell apart from over expense....... so they did something. May be good...... may be disasterous.
