I wasn't yelling at him. I was just thinking of the influence he might have on young believers and new believers in the faith. But I agree we should pray for him. I accept your correction.

We are supposed to accept Scripture, yes, you're right. Christians do this; nonbelievers do not.

I can recommend three books written by former atheist and evolution adherent Lee Strobel, who, in the development of his books interviewed a number of world renowned scientists, whose conclusions clearly contradict the theory of evolution in favor of God, the Bible and Creationism. I couldn't begin to duplicate Lee Strobel's work but I can highly recommend it. The books are, "The Case for Christ, The Case for Faith and The Case for a Creator".

I've read all three, the first two don't deal with evolution at all and the third simply regurgitates basic ID points that have already been refuted. If you're going to claim that anyone who claims evidence supports evolution is out of touch you really should be able to back it up with more than referencing a couple of books that don't actually support your claim. Just a thought.

Did you read the books, or glance at them and reject them, since they disagree with what you think? In "The Case for a Creator" for example, several of the underpinnings of Darwin's theory of evolution are reviewed and refuted-- much of the "evidence" given in support of evolution has been exposed as fraudulent and Darwin's "tree of life" has been turned upside down.

I'll not debate you further, your mind is made up. Whether you are serious or simply playing the devil's advocate, to cling to such a fraudulent and fatally flawed ideology as Darwinism, you are only making yourself look silly. I'll not try to change your mind.

Here's the rub, Lurker. You proclaim yourself a Christian and yet you call God the Father and Jesus liars and deceivers. Jesus spoke of the absolute historicity of Adam and Eve and the Flood - both of which you deny. Your explanation, for instance, of the story of Adam and Eve, is that God created man too stupid to really understand how He created (via "evolution"), so God gave them the story of a make-believe Adam and Eve and the rest of the Creation account instead.

I guess after 4000 years, man was still too stupid to understand how God actually created, so Jesus repeats the Adam and Eve lie in the New Testament.

It took the coming of Charles Darwin in the 19th century before man was finally smart enough to understand how God really created.

You cannot be a Christian while calling God a liar and denying God's Word.

It is you who are blind, and are leading the blind.

The scriptures are spiritually discerned, And a fool says in his heart there is no God, Evolutionists believe in what they see, Christians believe in things not seen as if they are. My reality is not in the past, but in my future.

Besides if the scriptures are spiritually discerned then the truth about life has already been revealed to the ones who has been given the faith to see it.
