To my fellow Christians:

Maybe we shouldn't be so quick to defend our actions? "Oh, well I've never done this..." The simple fact remains, we've all messed up and we've all caused hurt on an unbeliever. Maybe it's best to point them to the one we believe in. Afterall, He is the reason we believe, right?

Draigon, I'm looking forward to your responce.

Even if you pointed me to him, you are all suspose to be living like him, changing everyday to be more in tune with God, more in love with him, and showing his way more everyday. The Christians I have had my run in with, I would never want to be like. But anyways...let me catch up on the other stuff.

I am sad for you that you haven't run into the 'real thing' of people who truly HAVE changed because of our Lord, and those who ARE living a life led by our Lord...for that I'm sad for you...and for them as well.

D,

You are right when you say that most here don't know exactly how you feel because no one has been through what you have been through. Well I have, at least to the extent of having a parent die. I was 8 (I'm 28 now) when my mother died and I know exactly the type of hurt and abandonment that you feel in relation to that. I know that a lot of questions come up as to why and how could a loving God allow that to happen because I asked the same questions. Maybe not in that way because I was only 8 but I still had them. This is the thing that I can assure you, God knows your hurts and wants to take care of them. I know that you feel forsaken by God right now and that is normal but He does care for you, and even though you might not be able to see it right now, with God, it will work out for the good. The Bible says that, "All things work together for good for those that love God and are called according to His purposes."

Please know that I do understand your feelings and I know that you have questions about whether the Bible is true or not but know that those things are secondary in comparison to the fact that God loves you and wants to have an intimate relationship with you.

Jesus compares it to a mother hen that gathers her chicks to provide protection under her wings.

In His Grip.

Draigion,

The fact remains.

What will you do with your sin?

How is it absolved?

Was Jesus Christ a madman or really who He said He was?

You will never understand the flood or other issues pertaining to the Bible until you come to terms with the Word of God, Jesus Christ.

Back at the end of 1980 i was supernaturally born-again at age 36. As best as i remember, this was my second supernatural experience in life. I had a B.S. in Physics and was a medium-heavy in computers. Mathematics was my best talent:no grey, everything black or white, true or false. Especially with computers-i peaked out in that field as an Operating Systems [old GE GCOS,Honeywell/Bull/NEC GCOS3/GCOS8] problem solver:hardware/software interface. Worked on some very difficult problems:multi-processor gating and was just getting into NEC's Hypervisor architecture.

With computers:had to be 100% correct. Even that turned out to be insufficient:transient hardware problems, radiation affects on the hardware, holes in the hardware/software [just like today] allowing malicious or inadvertent "glitches". Trojan-horse viruses,...

That all said. Before being born-again i was a "very-logical Mr. Spock kind of person". Was an agnostic. Never prayed. Thought religion was for weaklings.

Had a traumatic experience in my 20s that made reality something needing to be assumed for me.

About 2 years after being born-again I received the KNOWLEDGE {NOT FROM MAN} that The Holy Bible was/is the Word of God. Remember later yelling out to God:"If there is one word in this book that is not 100% true i will take it and throw it in the f---ing trash!". Yes, i used the "f" word. Spent much intense effort looking into Scripture that contradicted itself, antinomies, "hard sayings". Gleason Archer's "Encyclopedia of Bible Difficulties" was enormous help in this area.

No, i have not harmonized all Scripture. Yes, it is The Word of God. The Kuran, for example, is from the devil. Islam is an antichrist religion. Yes, the devil is a real being. Yes, spirits of antichrist {<1John 4:1-6>} do exist. They do communicate.

Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life. Just like He said.<John 14:6>. Every word He said is 100% true.

Super Jew...there were no questions, so I don't see why I should have to respond. I see your points, and I will look into the book.

Lekcit...Hmmm...Not much to say to that except I am sorry that your mother died. My father died when I was 6 at the hands of his own gang, with me in the room watching. I loved my father very much and at his funrul, I was crying on his grave and a christian women pulled my off and told it me it wasn't lady like to do that. Guess I have had a grudge ever sence.

Dr. Luke...

What will you do with your sin?

I will live with it, I have for 17 years and I can live with it longer.

How is it absolved?

like I said above. I will live and deal with it on my own.

Was Jesus Christ a madman or really who He said He was?

I am not being direspectful, you asked the question...Jesus was a madman imo.

What are you going to do with Jesus?

For now nothing, because I still do not believe. But you never know what the future may bring.

So how will mother earth deliver you?

Mother earth will not, we don't need to be delievered, for we will just come to earth again, and again, and again.

ajesuschristi_mathetes...I guess I have not reached that point to where I know the "truth" then. >.< Thank you for sharing the story though.

I wanted to say something about the chat that I was in yesturday...if we can not get answers even from a chat, because they are "disrespectful" then how are we to find them in real life? A question is a question to help others know the answers. If one question pretaining your God is disrespectful, then all should be imo.

Thank you all for the answers to the questions I have asked. I hope it was not to much trouble. :sweating:

Greetings Draigon,

We at Worthy worship the One True God and His Son, Jesus Christ. Though probably most of us here have not yet SEEN either, we KNOW both through the Spirit of Truth that He has given to those "who believe". Knowledge alone is insufficient to meet this One True God and to KNOW Him. We accept by "faith" that He is indeed who He says He is. He tells us that we are "eternal creatures", whether we be saved or not. Those who believe will go on to "eternal life" in glorious splender in the presence of our God. Those who DO NOT believe will go on to spend ETERNAL LIFE IN HELL. So our interest here, as should be yours, is to ensure the safety of YOUR soul. God has prepared a plan for you and me and that is by the work of Christ culminating in the cross, He then became the "propitiation" for our sins. Therefore we have found justification in the sight of God and can come to him freely.

I can guarantee you that if you are SINCERE and DESIRE EARNESTLY to KNOW the One True God, that all you have to do is ASK HIM. He will in turn reveal the Lord Jesus Christ to you, even somewhat as He did to Paul on the road to Damascus. It may not be quite so profound, but you will INDEED know that the "Living God" cares for you and does not wish you to perish with the rest of the unbelievers. He alone loves you with an immeasurable love. In Him you will find peace.

So let your actions here amount to seeking the truth and perhaps God will have mercy upon you and draw you to Him.

Blessings,

Dad Ernie

D,

Know this, any question that you ask in a sincere manner is never trouble. At least not to me. You have been hurt by people that profess to be Christians and for that I apologize. I wish there was something more that I could say to help that but know that even Christians, while forgiven, are not perfect. The main reason that Christians may seem to act the same as everyone else is because we are like everyone else except the relationship we have with Jesus. Should we act that way? No. Do we? Unfortunatly, yes.

Please continue to ask your questions and I will do my best to answer them in the most understanding and helpful manner that I know of. My hope is that your perception of Christians has changed at least a little because of the people that you have encountered here. At least on some level.

In His Grip.

My father died when I was 6 at the hands of his own gang, with me in the room watching.

have you hated those gang members since that day? It seems that they robbed you of your childhood and robbed you of your purest joy...your father. draigon, do you love anyone? do you have anyone in your life who loves you? Who are they if you don't mind me asking? Do you live by yourself, or with others?

What will you do with your sin?

I will live with it, I have for 17 years and I can live with it longer.

do you think that you have sin?

like I said above. I will live and deal with it on my own.

do you know how you will do that?

Was Jesus Christ a madman or really who He said He was?

I am not being direspectful, you asked the question...Jesus was a madman imo.

you are most definitely entitled to your opinion of what you think...have you ever thought about what IF you're wrong about Him and Jesus TRULY IS the Son of God...God in the FLESH, and all that is in the Bible is true? What then...what IF you wait until you die from this earth? Do you care which way your eternity goes? What IF you're wrong about coming back as something else? What IF that has been just a delusion to cover up the pain your living with?

What are you going to do with Jesus?

For now nothing, because I still do not believe. But you never know what the future may bring.

fair enough..

So how will mother earth deliver you?

Mother earth will not, we don't need to be delievered, for we will just come to earth again, and again, and again.

and what if you come back another child whose life is completely in shambles from a very early age...like yours has been. And you have to live it all over again ... and then you die, living miserably on earth, and then you come back again in the same scenario...for ALL eternity...over and over and over again? is this your HOPE?

Thank you all for the answers to the questions I have asked. I hope it was not to much trouble.  :sweating

never too much trouble...you intrigue me, and my heart cries out for you. I pray that one day you find peace in your life.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
