There is nothing wrong with searching and asking questions. In fact, it's good to seek, as long as you are seeking in the right place. On one hand it's good that you are asking Christians questions about their faith (because we should know what we believe and why), it is also bad because most ppl don't know the answers to the hard questions (just like you dont' know all the answers about Wicca). The really bad thing is when ppl try to explain things they don't understand ... and end up looking stupid. What I like about you, is that you will at least admit when you don't know something. Alot more Christians would do well if they just said "i don't know", instead of making up some reason. God doesn't need defended. Christians just need to live what they believe, without contradiction and we would have a much less difficult time trying to "prove" our faith is real.

I know that didn't answer any of your questions...lol...just my $.02

I have no fear of admiting when I am wrong, or when I do not know something...unlike God I do not know all, if I did I wouldn't be searching.

now to level things back out and calm this thing down before it turns to war. I am not trying to offend anyone with what I post or ask, I am just looking for what your answers are.

questions asked so far, with answers...

1) if God gives us free will, then why does he plan our life out for us? that isn't free will in my eyes.

2) How come the Bible condridicts it's self so much?

3) How come Christians judge those who are not Christians, saying we are going to hell? how do you know? you are not God, God is the only one to judge..."Bible, do not judge others" that is right out of the book you live by.

if I leave, I will be back I will be getting off of her forawhile.

Its not that you are asking questions...

The problem seems to be that you are asking questions simply to prove the Christians wrong. And the lack of respect coming from Silver-Bullets is doing nothing but giving Wiccans a bad name.

Chazy.

yet again dear, you are judging...he is not wiccan actually, he is athiest. I am wiccan ^_~

Draigon,

So the Christians whom you have known have hurt you?

Has Jesus Christ hurt you?

Another thing you seem to want answers? Is silver bullets fulfilling this for you? Now whom do you serve?

The Lord Jesus Christ came to set you free from any and all masters.

Who's controlling you now?

Do you really have Free will?

Peace,

Dave

Yet again? When have I "judged" before?

And that is not "judging", that is assuming.

I sure hope he's not the one who is going to teach you about Wicca.

If thats the case, I pity you.

Chazy.

1) Super Jew did a great job explaining this one (although I'm still confused about it most of the time..lol)

2) Can you post a specific contradiction? It's hard to argue this when there isn't something specific

3) If you are not a Christian (that is, if you have not accepted Christ as your Savior) then according to Scripture, you have condemned yourself already. It's not Christians who are placing this judgment on you, you have placed it on yourself (if you are not a Christian) by rejecting Christ. John 3:17-18 are two verses that comes to mind. If you need more, I'll post them later.

Draigon,

Did you also notice how quickly your demeanor changed when he arrived?

You became abusive and derogatory.

Is this the norm around him?

You seem open to questions while he is closed minded.

Since he already knows everything? The burden is upon him to prove a negative.

He already has defined himself by the Word of God.

Will you be defined with him?

Peace,

Dave

Is god omiscent?

you mean onmiscient ... YES.

Do we have free will?

and another resounding YES!

Thanks for the quick spelling fix ^_^.

no problem! :t2:

Now, do you realize that if God is omniscient he knows what we are going to do before we do it,

Yes I realize that...God is God. I don't even begin to think that I can understand the mind of our God?! :noidea:

therefor we have no choice in the matter, meaning we have no free will.

we DO have a choice, but in God's omniscience, He already knows which way we will turn.. ^_^

The other possibility is that we have free will and God is not omniscient. Take your pick, but he isn't both, just like he isn't omnipotent.

we have free will, AND God knows before ALL TIME which way we will turn...yes it can be both... :il:

Like I said, he is NOT wiccan, he is athiest.

So the Christians whom you have known have hurt you?

all the christians I have known have hurt me.

Has Jesus Christ hurt you?

yes, as a matter of fact, he has forsaken me.

Another thing you seem to want answers? Is silver bullets fulfilling this for you? Now whom do you serve?

I serve no one :noidea: and silver-bullet is my friend, and he does not even agree with my religion so yea. He is not controlling me, they only one allowed to do that is my crow ^_^:t2:

The Lord Jesus Christ came to set you free from any and all masters.

Then that makes God my master, so that isn't the truth, becasue God would be my master if I came to him.

Who's controlling you now?

like I said no one is, but I allow one to, and he doesn't even do it.

Do you really have Free will?

I have free will as long as God is not in control, along with anyone else.

Don't know if you saw my post...

2) How come the Bible condridicts it's self so much?

I was wondering if you'd be so kind to list some contradictions for me. I will give you fair warning though, it may take me a while (2-3 days) to respond. I'm in the process of moving and all my books, Bible included, is packed away.

3) How come Christians judge those who are not Christians, saying we are going to hell? how do you know? you are not God, God is the only one to judge..."Bible, do not judge others" that is right out of the book you live by.

In Matthew 7:1 we are told "Do not judge or the standard you judge by will also be applied to you." The Greek in this is telling us not to condemn people based upon how they look. Thus if I see someone walking down the street dressed like Maryln Manson, I cannot say, "Oh he's doomed to hell." Likewise if I see a man in a business suit and a Bible in his hand, I cannot say, "Oh he's going to heaven". The simple fact is, I don't know. You're right that we have to be careful on who we say is going to heaven and going to hell even after we talk to people. I've had friends that were Christians, accepted Christ, turned to Wicca, Athiesm, Buddism, etc. and came back to Christ. A typical Christian, talking to them during their "fallen" stages, would say they were doomed for hell. Well we don't know that.

However, we can say that unless you have accepted Christ as your savoir, you will go to hell (John 14:6). That is all we can say. I can't say who has and who hasn't.

Again...I will say, I do not believe in the Bible because as you have proven, it is to wishy-washy and nothing can be taken truthfully.

and you are most welcome to believe or not what you desire. You have FREE WILL, a TRUE GIFT from our Creator! You can CHOSE whether you want to love HIM or not. YOUR CHOICE! How amazing is that. :il:

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
