I noticed that, too! Only it looks more like the wrist - which would be historically accurate. There are times when I look at these celestial images and see shapes and forms within them. I didn't think much about looking for something spiritual out of them . . . until I saw one that looked like an advancement of a demonic hoard - as if I were seeing a scene in Revelation! Later I saw a website where someone declared he could see Biblical imagery in various nebula - unfortunately, I couldn't always see what he was seeing. Mind you, I haven't taken this is gospel, but I've been finding it an intruding concept, so I've kept my eyes open so to speak, about this. When I saw this picture, the hand was clear - even the website titled it as a hand! What intrigued me was that the hand seemed to be reaching for something - a crown perhaps? Or a crown of thorns?
