Hello there I'm ~*~Marsi~*~ and I'm a bit new to the WC forums. Well since I couldn't get the "chat now" to work. (I'm rarely there but I've lurked there a bit behind some of my friends *hugs to Gamma, Angel, Omega, and I don't know the rest of their names*) Is this where I post a "Hi I'm new" thread or did I miss something? lol I don't know the rules or whatnot of these forums and I'd like to meet some new people so I guess I'll try posting here and get poked if I did something wrong. :)

What would be helpful is a quick run down on what to do here is all I need. Other then meeting some brothers and sisters (or soon-to-be's?/ I'm-just-lurking's). Well I guess that's it. I'm not the most active member but maybe that'll change. *gets poked by Angel* I'm sure she's happy I at least /tried/ to get on when I' at my own house. *misses taking over gamma/angel's computer and being silly on chat* Anywho Nice to meet ya! :):)

Welcome to Worthy Boards Marsi,

It is a pleasure to have you here. Just so that way you know, usually your introduction posts go into another section here at the Worthy Boards. However, it is awesome to have you and I hope you enjoy your stay. God Bless

With Love In Christ,

Danielle

Hi Marsi!peek.gif

Welcome to the boards!

All you really need to do is jump right in and start posting. :) You'll find some fun stuff (as well as some crazy people) in the Fellowship Hall and jokes in the Humor Section. The rest of the board has more serious discussions, though you never know when somebody may throw a pie at you just for innocently giving your opinion. :)

I guess you already know we are a loving family...with a few sibling rivalrys and an occasional nut in the family tree.

Why thank you Danielle. Could you happen to tell me which one I cshould have posted under? I didn't see which one so I just picked the one I though most likely. lol ^^ It is a pleasure being here.

Edit:

hehehe Hi IR! lol I guessed as much. I should've started posting here a LONG time ago *can see Angel nodding like crazy* Fellowship Hall and Humor Section sounds like fun. ^^

We throw pies here? Ohh goodies I wonder what kind? *peacons* lol I've had a share of pie-in-the-faces before but all should be in love. Exspacailly here since we're mostly all believes. *Though that doesn't always happen* Thanks for the heads up. ^^ I hope to see you around more. *I'm sure of it. ^^*

Marsi!!

(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((Hugs Marsi)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

that is a chat room hug when you get in!! Welcome to Worthy!!! Like you, I can't get into chat at the moment (a chat Mod who can't get in?.. :) ) lol

Anyways, it is very simple. You post away here till your heart is content. We have board moderators which are different from Chat room moderators. You can go to them for help for whatever questions you may have. Also anyone with Senior or Royal membership status next to their name are awesome people to talk to! Feel free to pm any of us and we will do our best to help!

The different forum have different theme's if you will. The Upper Room has fellowship hall and humor sub rooms which can be for questions, getting to know people and general lighthearted stuff. Also a ladies only forum!!

The other Forums have different subjects you can talk about. They are pretty self explanitory once you see the different topics being discussed. But if you want to talk about something and you see nobody has posted on a topic like that, start one up!!! Don't feel slighted if your topic is moved. A moderator may feel it is more appropriate in another forum. No biggie.

As for rules?? We love and serve Jesus here. So of course if there are posts which cause Jesus name to be taken in vain or mocked - expect a moderator response!! LOL I am sure if there is anything of concern - a brother or sister in Christ will PM you and let you know any concerns. Otherwise, just post away and like the chat room......it is waaaay more fun to just dive right in!!!!!

Blessings to ya hon!! look forward to chatting and posting with ya!!!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
