Ta, Andy I believe that this belief comes from the Catholic Church as they believe in a holding place they call purgatory, they believe in entering the spirit world. Jesus will take us to heaven when He comes again..........Because death is like sleep, it will seem like barely a moment until we are present the moment we close our eyes we will see Jesus coming in the clouds of Angels.......Catholics believe in a state of Limbo and the holding place being purgatory. It is all really complicated for me to communiate in the way I would like to. Ta, Andy It is from the comment of Christ- Matt 18:10-11 10 "Take heed that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that in heaven their angels always see the face of My Father who is in heaven. 11 For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost. NKJV It is the reasoning that we (born of Spirit) all are the children of God combined with 1 John 3:2-3 2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. 3 And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. NKJV Matt 19:13-15 13 Then little children were brought to Him that He might put His hands on them and pray, but the disciples rebuked them. 14 But Jesus said, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven." NKJV We know by John 10 the Father hold us in the strength of His Own Hand, pehaps this is one of the unbounded ways which He uses! The angels are not given any glory in any story I've read... in fact it was Jesus who said "I got to prepare a place for you" not the angels.. John 14:2 When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.
