Lorie,

The Isaiah 11 passage, if it applies to America is about fulfilled, I agree with you that America seems to be missing in the last days.  verses 2-5 seem to be America as it was founded, not as it is now so much.  We still have equality and we still are slaying the wicked, but our delight is not so much in the fear of the Lord.  We are quickly becoming a Godless nation with all of the pornography, abortion, corruption in our finances resulting in major companies failing, not to mention our scientific discoveries-harvesting embryos, (cloning) which hasn't been passed on humans-yet, thanks to a Godly president.  Seems to me if you read 6-10 it depicts us gone in the rapture and standing as a banner for the people.  Then in 11 the Lord will set His hand again a second time to recover the remnant who are left

Is 13:could be pointing to a nuclear war, v. 8  .........They will be amazed at one another; their faces will be like flames. 10, the stars of heaven and their constellations will not give up thier light; the sun will be darkened in it's going forth and the moon will not cause it's light to shine.

I'm not set in concrete or anything, just some ideas I'm thinking outloud.  I think it's exciting just digging in the scriptures and seeing it really is coming to pass as He said it would!

Okay, the dream starts with me and my family (husband children and all immediate family) in our house gathered around the television at what appeared to be a live newscast of another country ready to launch a deadly bomb and several deadly bombs to the US and to Isreal.

Guest C.D. Light

I am certainly enjoying these many intelligent posts.

Regarding dreams, Ive had a few and Ive found those that are God given are quite different from our regular dreams.

Mine have all been in the morning just prior to waking up and have much meaning in them by the scenery, the color clothing, etc. God's signature is all over them usually and much of the message is given in that way.

As an example:  There was someone once that God wanted me to have a specific conversation with, but this person was not obliging and we were always interrupted by other people or another phone call.

I was beginning to agonize over this and telling God that I couldnt get this done, and asking what was wrong here.

So God responded so clearly in a dream:

I was in the midst of an outdoor daytime get together where there were many many people. I saw this other person in the crowd, then suddenly we were walking side by side, going someplace to sit down and talk more privately. As we were on our way, I suddenly looked beside me and they were not there. Then I stopped and looked everywhere thru the crowd and afar off I saw the back of this person, walking away, and then they were just gone.

The interpretation of this was that we came very close to having this conversation, but that they were wanting to avoid it because they knew it would cause a drastic change in their life. This person was beside me because they wanted to talk, but then became scared and and walked away.

God was showing me that this person was willfully and disobediently walking out of my life permanently. That was why I saw their back and afar off.  It was their doing.

And I even felt the finality of it.

Then I woke up immediately after the dream ended, and I felt that it was so real. It was quite distinct and clear, and tho there was not one word spoken, the message in it spoke volumes.

And in real life, that is exactly what happened.

My point is, that when He gives us dreams, we will know what it means within a short time period, and they are quite different from the ordinary.

As soon as I get up, I get quiet with a cup of coffee and focus on it, and fortunately the Holy Spirit fills in all the gaps and highlights all the significant parts of it and their meaning.

I am also unable to dismiss the dream for several days afterward.

I believe that if we have dreams that make no sense, then its quite possible they may not be god-given, as he is not the author of confusion. A dream is to convey a particular message, and when we receive one, He will see to it that we do get the intended message.

Lorie,

I think the flourescent lights are the lightening flashing from east to west.  Thunder's right in that the rapture will be in a twinkling of an eye, but maybe you were looking down in the twinkling of an eye too--have to say, I've not had any prophetic dreams but that is really exciting!

Hey wordsower~

I have to say, I was sortof thinking the same thing about in a twinkling of an eye, is when I looked down.  Plus, to add a thought to that...I believe that it will be a thuroughly enjoyable experience for the christian(the rapture is what I am referring to)  I believe the rapture will happen in the twinkling of an eye to the unbelieving world that is left behind.  I believe once our bodies are transformed into glorified bodies, that, we will be on God's time scale....which is nothing like ours....the rapture is meant to be a "surprise" to the world, in the twinkling of an eye, because it is either a wake up call to the unbelieving or a choice for death, in the end.  It is suppose to be a great mystery to the unbelieving.  So, in conclusion...maybe....just maybe...we will be able to "take flight" in a glorious family reunion in the skies and be able to be aware of our surroundings.....I know that in the dream...it was the most unbelievable peace and warmth and love and joy that I have ever experienced.  It was a true, going home feeling, like none other.  I know that the time is nearer than most would like to think, I can "feel it" in my spirit.  Like the word says, "anticipating the rising star in our hearts"  also the word talks about the time of the end NOT taking the believers by surprise....just as the fig trees and plants tell of the coming seasons, so shall we be informed!!!!!!!!!!!!  Come Lord Jesus!

Hey Lorie,

That's awesome.  I'm sure we have no concept of what "time" is outside of the earthly constraints.  I have no doubts we will be so astonished at how much we don't know.

Exciting isn't it?  Sometimes I just say WOW!
