Dear Wisdom,

Thank you so much for an inspiring post, something I really needed to hear right now.

Your encouraging words have lifted me up.

Sometimes it is so hard to see what is up ahead when difficulties are upon us but our God is just and will carry us through.

God Bless,

Shazza

Shazza:

First, let me apologize for the delayed response. Second....our FATHER is so good to us all, isn't HE? He answered whatever your prayers were (audibly/silently) by blessing you with this thread. And in the process I am blessed by being used by HIM to fellowship with you. :(

So rightly spoken.....it is rather difficult at times to see what lies ahead in our "run" through this life, yet our FATHER commands us never to worry about it. HE has everything under control. Concerning YOU and I, HE has already prepared for what will happen to us.

HE knows what we will need tomorrow, and has already anticipated the troubles/problems we'll face, and has set into motion all that we need to resolve them. HE's never caught off guard, nor taken by surprise. HE knew what HE was getting BEFORE HE "called" us. (Matthew 6:25-34)

So continue to stand on the TRUTH of HIS Word....you'll be just fine! :t2:

Thank you for sharing this with us.  I had ran into some obsticals the race when i was younger.  I can promise you our father is there and will always pick you back up.  I dropped completly out of the race at the age of 16.  If you would have known who I was before the Lord picked back up you would have thought I had never seen the inside of a church.  I had dropped out of the race for 22 years.  However I there was a lot of people in our family that was praying for me.  They where faithfull and prayed for me for the whole 22 years.  The Lord knows what he is doing I can promise you.  After 22 years I have totaly been changed.  My friends of old do not even know who I am.  I was told by some people that after a week or two the fire would be gone and I would not read the word as much and I would start to settle down.  You know what?  Wrong!!! Its been 3 months since the Lord picked me back up and I read my bible more than I did that first week.  Not only do I read it but it makes perfect sense to me.  The spirit of God has moved in and I have been created new.  My friends of the old, almost all of who are not saved, have tempted me in things I use to live for.  The Lord has protected me from there attacks as to not even rock the boat.  I cant find anything decient on TV except for sundays.  And I cant stop praying.  I dont even pray about anything other than to tell the Lord I love him.  I still have a few obsticles but my Father keeps smashing them.  I was truly saved at the age of 5.  I loved the Lord with all my heart up tell about the age of 16.  I cant even tell you how i stumbled it was so suddle I dont even know myself.  I can say this though our Father is there to pick you up.  He puts his hand out we just need to grab it.  I never would reach up to grab it, thats why it took so long for him to pick me up.  He dosent give up on us.  Even when we give up on ourselves.  Again thank you for the message.  And thank you to all the brothers and sisters at worthy that have been my church while i was looking to find one.  You will be happy to know that the Lord has lead me to a wonderful church full of the love of God.  I will be praying for you all.  Continue with the boards the mean sooooooo much.  God is doing wonderful things here.

morejesus:

I fully understand where you're coming from. You are precisely right in saying our FATHER is always there and awaits our call to HIM for help, even AFTER long periods of spiritual demise. HE wants us to understand that HE means it when HE says YOU and I are worthy of HIS constant care/guidance/deliverance. (including chastisement)

I have two sons who I love dearly. If either of them had severed ties with me it would break my heart dearly, but I could NEVER stop loving them. Because of this love, I would make valiant efforts to try and resolve whatever our indifferences are between us. It would always be my hope one day that if any one of them had hardened his heart against me, the love I reflect would melt the hardness of his heart, and he would come to know/understand that I was and am ALWAYS there for HIM, if only HE would accept my love/compassion for him.

In the same way our Heavenly FATHER reflects this love towards us. Yet, it is MUCH STRONGER than ours. HIS is an unconditional AGAPE LOVE, which tells us we can NEVER disappoint HIM. Confession, repentance, faithfulness, and obedience should exude from the child of GOD. During those 22 years you spoke of, GOD never took HIS eyes off of YOU. And I gather that you know this now just by what you've written here. HIS embrance of love does not change based upon our performance...

It has been wonderful for me to read how CHRIST is moving in your life now, and your renewed dedication to HIM speaks volumns for others to read/see. CHRIST is all about developing us, and the FATHER works to daily conform YOU and I into HIS SON's image. HE has a plan for YOU! Don't ever doubt it here on out. YOU might be puzzled by the circumstances and timing in your life...you might even feel you're going nowhere, but our FATHER has HIS eyes upon you, because morejesus.....HE loves YOU! :t2: This time....STAY in the RACE!

Sis:

You were there for me in times of need also, and you truly are one of the bright lights our FATHER has connected to this Board! Like you, I too have my moments filled with the times where our FATHER has helped me overcome doubt, failure, disappointments and angry moments. HE has loved us Sis, and reached out to us EVEN WHEN we were "unlovely". How much more should we with one another?!

Our LORD has given us dignity and hope....mercy and grace, EVEN WHEN we didn't deserve it. HE's always there with us through it all. HE hears, sees, and knows everything we do/say, EVEN BEFORE we do it. But Sis, just remember......no matter what has happened in our past (what we've said, done, or thought), our FATHER is interested in our "RIGHT NOW" (what we're doing in the "Race" right this moment.....catch my drift?!! :( )

I will always be here for you IR, as I know you are for me. I love you and am proud to be called your brother in CHRIST. Just remember what I told you. Never forget who the real enemy is. Negative things we allow to go unresolved in our lives draw "him" to us like raw meat to a shark...and if the Enemy can destroy you, your family, friends, he WILL devour you all IF you let those seeds of negativism take root in the soil of YOUR soul. Satan is a bitter adversary who wants OUR lives to become a disaster! *1 Peter 5:8-10*

Be ACCOUNTABLE to the HOLY SPIRIT. Make a conscious decision to respond to HIS inner whispers (Revelation 2:7). ALWAYS act on HIS promptings right away! HE will ALWAYS keep YOU in the "right direction" of the "Race".

Love ya Sis!! :(

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
