Well since Revelation reveals there is a "first" and "second" resurrection, the first being of the saints of God BEFORE the Millineal reign of Christ, and the last being of the "rest of the dead" AFTER the Millineal reign of Christ, and Thes. is the only place in the whole Bible that speak of a "rapture" or "catching away" and IT occurs AFTER the FIRST resurrection, then how do you get 3 raptures?

SIMPLE! I'm John Kerry........

In truth...I don't have a clue

Greetings John 3:16,

the prince that shall destroy the city and sanctuary (A.D 70 Rome) will in the end times with a flood come against Jerusalem. What are your thoughts on this?

The above all took place at 70 A.D. The Temple shall remain desolate (utterly destroyed) even unto the very end and the completing of the Daniel 9 covenant with Israel.

Blessings,

Dad Ernie

I have read a lot of these threads about per, mid, and post trib, and I must say it saddens me. It seems that a lot of Christians are getting angry at each other over this subject, why? I could be wrong and maybe just taking it the wrong way, but it looks to be that there is a lot of anger on this subject. I have seen Christians judge other Chirstian just because they beleive in something alittle different than the other. This should not happen, we sould not judge, we have no place to judge others. If I have been taking this worng I am sorry. How are we to Glorify God if we are fighting with each other? Fighting amongst ourselves will distroy our fellowship with each other, and that is what Satan wants. Sure you can disagree but that is know reason to fight with each other. There also could be non-believers reading these posts, and they could be turned away when they see Chirstians fighting with each other.

If I have took this the wrong way, I am truly sorry. But it does look like there are angry arguments going on.

In Christ's Love,

J.C.

I too would like to see us "walking together in agreement", but as you can see through your looks at the Eschatology Forum, this is one particular area that basically fundamental, evangelical type Christians have a great disagreement as to what eschatology is all about. The "title" of this thread should clue you in to the fact that I personally, and there are several others, who find the notion of a pre-trib rapture to be anathema to the scriptures. You may want to give the following verses some very deep consideration:

1 Cor 15:12-19 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: 14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. 15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. 16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: 17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. 18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. 19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

This is all about the RESURRECTION, and OUR resurrection, which is in the LAST DAYS. How much SHOULD we know about it? If ONLY in THIS LIFE we are benefited by Christ, then WHAT GOOD IS CHRISTIANITY? This is only TEMPORARY, we are NOT of THIS world, but look forward to OUR ETERNAL HOME with Christ Jesus.

Besides, this argument has been going on since the Lord's day, and it is not expected to change any time soon, that is, UNTIL the Lord comes. So if you would rather not see these types of heated debates, it probably would behoove you or anyone to frequent only those forums you feel most comfortable with.

Blessings,

Dad Ernie

Umm... I Know Jesus rose three days after the Cross. If that did not happen then there could be no life after death. Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior, and I put total faith in Him.

They call it Apologetics ( defence of you faith) your whole faith.

It would seem that the point of contention is: who is the kingdom of the North?

Who do you believe it is? From scripture it appears to be the revived Roman Empire, which would point to Euro, but Rome did not conquire Germany, and some other european nations, and they did conquire many Arab nations, so Europe is not necessarily a lock.

Greetings John 3:16,

Can you relate "the Kingdom of the North" to ANYTHING in the New Testament?

Wow. I 'm just in such awe that I'm in the presence of those most learned souls who are the fountainhead of all wisdom.

Actually, for those so certain they "know" exactly what's going on, I must humble myself and say that I know only this: I know where I'll end up in eternity.

My focus is on obedience to Christ Jesus.

My goal is to take every thought captive to obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ.

My challenge is to love even hard-headed, opinionated persons because you're my spiritual family and God loves you deeply, (despite yourselves).

Frankly, there's a few here who could use stepping back from their prophesy studies and reread the scriptures on humility and kindness, instead of insisting on just "being right" all the time.

I know. I've just come through this valley of having to be right. I cost me dear friends and hurt feelings on both sides.

Man, does it matter whether before, during or after? You're never gonna be ready for Jesus if all you care about is being "right" and proving your point. That's called, "Pride".

And I've been very guilty of it in the past.....again, I had to be humbled in order to recognize that subtle trap of Satan.

The bible (remember that?) says to regard others BETTER than yourselves. We sure don't like that verse, do we?

Play nice, okay?

Greetings Catsmeow,

Do you peak your head into this part of the forum just to criticize those of us who believe it is important to UNDERSTAND this promise:

Revelation 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

Or are you sincerely interested in "being blessed"? If this is the case, you may want to intensify this area of study IN THE BIBLE so that YOU TOO can be blessed.

Blessings,

Dad Ernie

DE: I think the spirit in which people are "teaching" others is nasty.

I can't tolerate wallowing in the mudslinging of Christians who don't agree or like each other's understanding of scripture.

There's a diplomatic way of handling things...and frankly, brother...you haven't seemed too charitable lately.

I had to learn the hard way that "being right" isn't always the right thing to do. Being an example of Christ is.

I'm guilty of this in the past and praise God am learning that's NOT the way to get your point across.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
