UFOs attracted to skies over Israel

Something very strange is happening in the skies over Israel. The Jewish state is reporting a spate of UFO sightings, strange terrestrial occurrences such as cattle mutilations, close encounters of the third kind and, yes, even alien abductions.

More puzzling, say those who study such phenomena, is the fact that the sightings appear to be occurring almost exclusively over the tiny land mass of the Jewish state rather than throughout the Middle East, as one might expect.

The respected Jerusalem Report magazine recently featured an article focusing on the case of Herzl Ksantini, a successful, 42-year-old Israeli businessman, who last year reported coming face to face with a 9-foot-tall mud-colored humanoid monster. While security agents found no monster after scouring the area, they did track deep footprints for some eight kilometers. Ksantini is just one of hundreds of Israelis who have reported experiences some believe to be unearthly.

"Israel is recognized as an international UFO hot spot -- with an unsurpassed quantity and quality of evidence," says Barry Chamish, an American-born Israeli who studies the phenomena. One Tel Aviv newspaper now runs a weekly column called "X-files," which details local stories about UFOs. A 1993 incident also involved some trace physical evidence -- crop circles, some presume to indicate spacecraft landings, in nearby gardens.

Another dramatic incident was reported in the Jewish state in 1987, accompanied by a month-long series of sightings over Haifa. The phenomena ended with a spectacular explosion that scorched the Shikmonah beach in the shape of a spacecraft. Tens of thousands came to witness the burn, which was highly magnetic and contained high concentrations of zinc.

But why all this activity over Israel and not in neighboring Arab countries? Some believe the answer is spiritual. Some suggest the angels of the Bible, who sometimes visited earth in "chariots of fire," are returning to herald the dawning of a new millennium. Others say the phenomena are part of a great deception perpetrated by demonic beings pretending to be from other planets and civilizations. The idea that the operators of UFOs might be other than aliens from another world is being supported by some top-notch secular researchers. (see 2Kings 2:11,12; Psalm 68:17)

Whitley Streiber, author of "Communion" and "Transformation," says this about his own encounter with an alien creature: "Increasingly I felt as if I were entering a struggle for my soul, my essence, or whatever part of me might have reference to the eternal. There are worse things than death, I suspected. And I was beginning to get the distinct impression that one of them had an interest in me. So far the word demon had never been spoken among the scientists and doctors who were working with me. And why should it have been? We were beyond such things. We were a group of atheists and agnostics, far too sophisticated to be concerned with such archaic ideas as demons and angels ... I felt an absolutely indescribable sense of menace. It was hell on Earth to be there, and yet I couldn't move, couldn't cry out and couldn't get away. I lay as still as death, suffering inner agonies. Whatever was there seemed so monstrously ugly, so filthy and dark and sinister. Of course they were demons. They had to be. And they were here and I couldn't get away. I couldn't save my poor family. I still remember that thing crouching there, so terribly ugly, its arms and legs like the limbs of a great insect, its eyes glaring at me."(Please study Mark 5:1-20)

Whatever they are -- aliens, angels or demons -- the appearance of these "signs in the heavens" over the holy land fulfills Jesus' prophecy about "terrors and great signs from heaven (or outer space)" in the last days. The Greek word for "sign" literally means a supernatural phenomenon intended to point the observer to some profound truth. And there is no greater truth than the reality of Jesus' Second Coming. Actually a UFO conspiracy is the best way to hide your military's aircraft testing. Why are the UFO sightings only over Israel? Israel is the only country in the Middle East that develops its own technology. Most of the other countries get their weapons from Russia, France, China and perhaps Britain. If the Arabs were developing the kind of technology that Israel does you would probably see sightings over those countries as well.

We have UFO occurances here all the time in the US especially out in the West. I can imagine that the governments of both the US and Israel possess weapons and aircraft with capabilities that the average person is unaware of. What better way to conceal a secret than let a bunch people run around touting alien conspiracies. It works in the US and apparently it works in Israel too.

Yup, we have (Area 51)! They have Secret aircaft and they want people to make up alian stories so it would hide what they are really doing in Area 51. They say we have aircraft that can go almost the speed of lite! but that neither here nor there.

Back around 1987 I was so fed up/maxed out with UFO stuff both from my pre-born again and after days. Then someone gave me one of Whitley Streiber's books {"Communion", i think]. Then I read a bunch of his. He claims he and many others have been abducted by aliens. Others claim that he and those others are not perceiving reality correctly and/or are lying. Little background.

Now, anyone else read Dave Hunt's "The Archon Conspiracy"? It is Christian fiction, so that is that. But it ties in aliens/UFOs/etc. and it was interesting to me.

Remember back in the 1980s-Christians were being warned about the New Age and how the space brothers would come and "rescue us" in flying saucers. Or that the Antichrist would explain the Rapture by how He got rid of those holding up the Age of Aquarius.

So-a real Rapture could "easily" be explained by those left behind. A false Rapture [defining false as millions taken out of her/disappeared] by not The Lord himself:key word to me in <1Thessalonians 4:> is "himself":i personally like that word and do not think it is an unneeded word at all.

Remember, to deceive if it were possible the very elect. Deceiveth the whole world.

Book i read 20 or so years ago-fictionalized, but had this concept of the Beast:if I recall correctly-and remember, this is just a fictionalized concept-the Beast's I.Q. was 500,000.

The only UFO's I have personally seen are what's left by my one-year old daughter in the form of "Unidentified Food Objects".

But seriously, most UFO conspirator-types have come up with some far fetched ideas, such as "God lives on a flying saucer" and "What the government knows about UFO's". My mother claimed to have had an encounter with a UFO when I was a kid. I still think to this day it was an encounter with a demon. But she is like many who think we are actually related to some species of alien beings from another planet. :sam: :prayer :alien:

was a box kite with lights on it, looked really neat in the night sky.....

only most people did not know what it was, and probably still have no clue to what they really saw...
