My son has a question about people

Recommended Posts

Posted
This was my son's first time to ask any type of questions about God to the extent that he has. My husband Senerhu and I have been praying for his salvation and have asked others to pray for his salvation as well.

He asked me to post these things on the board for him and I consider that to be progress, which I am very thankful for.

My sole purpose and intent on posting this thread was to help my son and I believe that it did and I thank God for that.

Thanks to everybody that posted in this thread and may God bless.

Kat

Anytime Kat! This is wonderful, I pray that he will continue to ask questions and to seek the truth of God's word! AMEN!

Thanks kelli!! It means a lot to us.

I am a FULL GOSPEL NON-DENOMINATIONAL BELIEVER witha pentecostal background...This is how I belive and I stand firmly on my beliefs which are strictly biblically based.

I respect your opinion, however I believe otherwise.

You respect it you say .. but here you say your right and that you are firm on your beliefs ... which means your ALWAYS right.

Not all penecostal groups are even close to being biblical

No this how I believe...You have your beliefs and I have mine...I am not going to ague scripture with anyone...As far as I am concerned from this moment on I will not respond to your negativity...I have not and will not question YOUR beliefs that is up to you and God not me...My belief is not to be questioned by you or anyone else..It is not your place to interpret my beliefs as it is not my place to question you.... Every word I have said in this thread is backed up by scripture ...There will ALWAYS be subjects that we ALL do not agree on however, we ALL have one thing in common and that is the LORD... We all love the LORD... I have stated my belief and as a CLOSE friend of Kitkat and Senerhu we SHARE the same beliefs....Their son asked these questions and I answered according to the beliefs WE SHARE... It is so easy for those of you to sit back and disagree...Have you eEVER thought for one moment that you yourselves just MIGHT be wrong???? So please do not question my beliefs...I hold my beliefs very close to my heart and not ANY man will change that...I listen to LOrd and what HIS word reveals to my...As faras prophets go...I have learned how to test them to kow if they are of GOD and YOU can learn them through scripture...I read the bible daily and have been in the MISSION FIELD for some time now...I do not hold my beliefs above your or anyone elses..SO please do not do that to me...

In His Grace

We are to test everything .... There is no your beliefs and my beliefs. There is only one belief. I test my own beliefs all the time and will freely admit if I make a mistake. We are called to point out error in doctrine when we see it, by claiming that you hold the key and no one can change it, sounds like pride.

I spoke truth that not all penecostal groups are close to being biblical. The incorporate many off shoots. Its such a broad term. Even satan can twist scripture to his own desire.

We HAVE to agree .....

Disagreement only brings division and it makes us look like fools. How can we bring people to Christ if we cant even agree on Christ's own teachings. We either stand as one or we fall, look all around everywhere the church is being attacked most importantly from within. Movements such as Word of Faith and false prophets like Benny Hinn do nothing, but harm to the name of God.

If its not in the bible we dont need it, why do we insist on seeking out the advice of others.

As I said to you before I will not argue any of this...God Bless you and you have a wonderful day...

Absolutely, so why be the one to incite an argument?

No one here is saying NOT to put the WORD of GOD FIRST. NO ONE.

I can ASSURE you that NO ONE in this household listens to OTHERS before we heed what the WORD OF GOD says. You can take that one to the bank!

There is NO need for anyone to come along and try to prove their beliefs here. My son had a question and I asked it for him. ...'nuff said!

If they are inspirations from God listen to them, and learn, and do what they say if they are for you. Although The Word is established, and we can trust The Word without any doubt, now when we Here from God we do hear, and sometimes we will treat this as His Word, and thus the word is just as important, let us keep the Bible separate, and not add things to it, rather anything that is an addition of God's Word we can write it somewhere else, but if someone is understanding all the intricasies of what someone does, or says, by God's Holy Spirit that is also His Word, and may be added To The Bible, because the addition is not adding to the bible, in the sense of taking away from the meaning of the Word, or in the sense of adding different false meanings to The Bible.

Try to pawn your ideas of "one" belief off to the people who have different beliefs about the rapture and see how far you get.

-In other words in todays world, if somebody receives a vision or message directly from God and records it, would or should those messages be accepted as possible additions to the Bible?

-NO----NO----NO------NO----NO----NO-------NO----& BESIDES ALL THAT---NO---- :x:

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
