Why not just share? I don't recall Jesus ever giving the people an ultimatum before He taught.

If I heard any teaching from anyone else I would listen but I would not swallow until I asked the Lord, "Lord what about that?" And until I heard from the Lord I did not eat that which was offered.

Why not give your listeners the same opportunity?

Man, I have been sharing and everyone has the opportunity to go before the Lord and ask, "Lord, what about that?" I have stated that same thing before also. The "And I will share with you" was me simply, in the post, sharing something that the Lord had taught me, not that one has to come out first before I share.

How are believers to meet together for prayer, fellowship, the breaking of bread, and the apostles teaching?

It truly is quite simple. First, come out from under the "names." And I will share with you what the Lord shared with me about 38 years ago. As I know you have read my testimony (and for those who have not it is posted on this site under sdktlk testimony) then you can understand that I was on fire for Jesus after having been saved. Even though I was in prison I of course wanted to get my hands on everything that could help me know Jesus better so I began to try to gather up all the teachings and writings by all the greats that had gone before.

The Word of the Lord came unto me saying, "Put down the books and forget everything you think you know about everything you think you know about the Bible, come unto Me and I will teach you." I remember that Word verbatim as if it were yesterday. For the first 10 years of my walk with the Lord I read nothing but the Bible. If I heard any teaching from anyone else I would listen but I would not swallow until I asked the Lord, "Lord what about that?" And until I heard from the Lord I did not eat that which was offered.

Unless you are saying believers should not meet together and learn from each other, worship together, break bread together, etc.?
