Many times, the term is attached to 'American' or 'our'. But is America a democracy? Has American ever been a democracy? The answer is a resounding "NO!" When asked outside of Independence Hall, "What kind of government have you given us?" Benjamin Franklin's answer was: A Republic, if you can keep it. Notice. A republic. Not a democracy, a republic. The media, even the so-called conservative media, says we're a 'democracy'. This is called brain-washing. It was Adolph Hitler who said that if one continued to repeat a lie over and over, soon, it would be believed. Brain-washing is not always the province of torturers in black hoods. The most effective brain-washing is often done by those with the softest voices and the gentlest attitudes. Above all, TEACH YOUR CHILDREN. Are you saying that the educational system and the media are conspiring to teach that we are a democracy rather than a republic? If so, what would be the logic behind such a thing?
