Look at how many countries are reconsidering nuclear power all of a sudden. Since nearly all media is liberal leaning, they WANT nuclear power to go forward. Why would they, all of a sudden, want any country to reconsider their plans? I think they fear monger just to keep people watching. In the case of NBC, CBS and ABC, it's not working. Even if this takes the worse case route, I would not shut down the nuclear power in the US. In California, they already keep aux. generators at locations away from the reactor site just in case the on site power fails. Between the news people blowing things up, and governments lying to us and companies keeping things to themselves, I'd say that in reality we don't really know what the situation is.
