As for making money, should a pastor get paid?

I did not see the name of Jesus SPECIFICALLY mentioned once in any of the songs. I do see how He could be inplied. That leaves ambiguity though. Anyone could imply anything depending on their own frame of mind.

Pastors labor in the Word of God. That is why they get paid.

What are their lives like when they are not on stage or infront of a mike. What are they doing 3,4,5, yrs down the road? Are they continuing in the Word? Then are they true deciples.

Do you realize that in all your posts that you disagree with you have to throw a barb? Does that really make you feel better? Good thing that we have a shield of faith that quenches all the firey darts of the enemy.

And when Jesus told Peter "get the behind me Satan" He knew who he was speaking to.

Then rid yourself of the book of Esther because it doesn't mention God or any diety for that matter. Likewise, it's very obvious who they're talking about. Any person with half a mind could figure it out larry. I know you figured it out, however it's hard for you to admit you're wrong becuase this would require a paradigm shift.

Janitors don't yet they get paid...even though it's a service. Music ministers don't but they get paid...even though they don't labor.

The thing is larry, there's nothing wrong with them making money off of this. Not a single of of them is rich and are basically getting by. They've dedicated their lives to serving God through this gift and have to make some money in order to eat larry.

Are these blatant enough for you? Do they praise God enough for you? Because I honestly don't see how singing a Psalm can be interepreted in any other fashion besides in a Chrisitan context.

-Yes, they are continuing in the Word. They even continue in the Word when they're on tour. Some of the guys do studies when they have downtime and are discipled by their pastors. They also pray before their shows.
