We go to Sunday School at 9:30am

Regular Sunday Service at 10:30 am

Sunday Evening at 6:30pm

and Wednesday Evening at 7:00pm

Our church also have Monday Night prayer meetings (although we personally don't go because of Scouts which is on the same night)

Usually at least one weekend a month we all try to get together for a big potluck and fellowship at the park or community center.

I am not a morning person..........

Fortunately, I attend a church with 4 services in the summer, and 5 or 6 services in the winter. (Yay!) I attend 6 pm evening service.

I've always been curious why some churches think it's necessary to attend twice in one day (Sunday morning and again Sunday night usually). My favorite time to go to church would be Saturday night, cuz that leaves the whole day Sunday to do whatever. I didn't mean to hijack the thread..I've just always found it kind of...counterproductive for churches to require members to be so busy at church that they have less time to be interacting with the world we're here to reach.

We go to church everyday. The Lord speaks to us and has brought us out of many churches; who have lost the true order and spiritual gifts and fellowship of small gatherings! They have now built carnal empires , and read the most popular books how to make church a better business; selling the word for profit, but not the whole word, but only those things that keep the money flowing!

You can't go to theological schools to learn gifts but only techniques, all based on traditions of men and building busineses, Ezek.34; speaks of fleecing the sheep, and muddying the waters of thr truth to make the pastors fat!

Is that the kind of faith the Lord desires?

Maybe we should seek Him out for ourselves, and find people of like faith!

If they are friends of the world they are enemies of God; and if they persecuted Christ, they will also persecute His children.

We are to help each other and the poor, not to build empires for smooth talkers! It takes a lot of comprimising to convince people to support building projects primarily for the rich, and such as these are not commomn in the kingdom, but it is hard for the rich to enter in! The poor need Him everyday, but the rich must become humble and poor in spirit.

Agape; Ephraim.

Hi Tess.....

it isnt about making the members do something, if a person wants to go, then there are services available..... there are events going on thru-out the week so that every one has a chance to worship.....

some people want to go to all the services....

if I miss a service, yes even when there are two or three on one day, I feel as thou i have missed a major event.... i have missed out on a blessing or something... so I worship where ever I am at.....

I love to just worship....

there have been some that have spent 24 hours plus straight at the church worshipping and praying and praising and such.... it is really awesome to spend that much time at one time with the Lord with no interuptions....

Blessings to you

mike

Sunday School @ 10:00am

Service @ 11:00am

Evening service @ 6:00pm

Wednesday night @ 7:00pm

Church-wide visitation (soul-winning) Thursday @ 6:45pm

I love it all and in no way feel compelled to go to any of it by people. The Holy Spirit compels me.

These times are just the basics for me. It doesn't account for the special services, anniversary parties, funerals, weddings, etc.

I especially love the evening services. I'm not sure why. Just my favorites, I guess.

We have a large town here in south Louisiana.

Most Christian churches have their services on Sundays at 8:00 & 10:00 a.m.

There may be about 2 churches on Sunday, that have evening services at 6:00 p.m

My husband and I attend the 10:00 a.m. service . The Sundays he has to work ,

I wait for him so we can both attend the evening service.

Wednesday services begin at 7:00p.m.

There are many churches in this town ......some have services at other times.

LOVE and PEACE to everyone,
