Atheists are able to love, yes; in a worldly sense, they love their families and friends. I believe the OP is talking about loving God and loving one's enemies even though they don't seem worthy of that (forgive me if I'm wrong, 2027). I've yet to see an atheist who loves his/her enemies, viole. That only comes through a relationship with the Lord.

Personally, I consider the suggestion to offer the other cheek immoral. Imagine the sufferance in the world if you consistently offer the other cheek to people like Hitler, or any other crazy dictator or criminal.

Yes, in fact I do love the Ahmadinejad; I even loved Osama Bin Laden. Not because I want to but because I am commanded to do so. I would love to see Iran's President come to the Lord and I would have read the Bible to Bin Laden if given the chance. This is the type of love a Christian has for his/her fellow man. As for why we have the world's strongest military....we aren't a theocracy. Those decisions are made by the government and are not based on religious views. If you consider 'offering the other cheek' immoral then you are completely removed from your Creator. We, as Christians, don't always succeed in our personal lives but we are to try our best. I admit I can't always do it but I continue to work on it and ask the Lord for His help in getting to the point where I can.

Gods attributes are all equally important to each other and have a perfect balance.

Jesus was actually speaking to Satan who was trying to use Peter to temp our Lord to rely on flesh and blood to bring in the kingdom.

Gary has in fact sinned and come short the glory of God and needs that blood of Christ to atone for said sin. My last sin was committed Sunday the 12th of February. So I am taking this moment in my life to go them both even that I have tooth making hard to think right. As I think back what did I do what post another man heart on whether he love God or not but when I told they were letting pride in their way. They took offence in me posting person feeling that I may have agreed with or not I did have not any take on it at all.

I might not of like the way he put it but it was not my heart crying unto anyone to hear the man cry for help. Socks and Geisha had their pride step on because used strong statements they reply with strong statements to show they are better than the man that was not here to defend his self at all. What I like about the man statement was that he was honest even that he tries to pull away from God because he had got hurt.

I am no different than the next person I have the pride holding me back from seeing the truth more clearly. When I was young boy I have to use the rest room but others would hit me so I could do my thing in peace but should be mad at the ones attacking me or should I look for the reason. What bad thing happen to the leader because every group a leader pushing the others on?

I know why the teachers never stop it from happen but what happen to the child that first saw me as a easy prey. One will never know but in the some place what happen to that person to get him hating God like that. Sure he step on your believe but he has every right to shout from his heart his pain.

That how pain gets in the open for all hear if no one ever hear it how could we get a answer from God heart if we do not share our heart. If you go back and read the post I made to which you made this reply to, you should find a statement by me which states that I judge men as I judge my self, or word to that effect. I am very aware of my sin's, I owned them, until Christ Jesus took them away from me. My sins were the Nails that Held Jesus to the Cross, yet He Forgave me, I was Dead and He gave me Life. However, I still had to pay the consequences of making some very bad choices in my life.

So in short, you posting the above in reply to my post, means that you are Judging me, which I freely accept, judge away my Christian Friend.
