I think this is a good look at some issues surrounding all kinds of theological thoughts. David is a Messianic Jew who has seen both sides of the issues regarding who Israel is and how gentiles are indeed Israel.

The Messianic community was always intended to be an the underground movement of Jews working towards re-establishing the Israeli kingdom under Yeshua. But then it was hijacked, and turned into a Gentile organization that lost all emphasis on Israel as the key to ultimate restoration of the planet. The salvation program is not about individuals. It is about global restoration under a restored Israeli monarchy—the ultimate “tikkun olam“! And each of us acts as a representative of our nation, swearing an oath of fealty to the Israeli King.

This is pretty much what Paul taught against. Jesus' earthly ministry was for the Jews, yes, but Jesus called Paul to be the Apostle to the Gentiles and Peter confirmed that Paul was and that the Gentiles were also to partake of the Good News.

Acts 11:18; When they heard this, they had no further objections and praised God, saying, “So then, even to Gentiles God has granted repentance that leads to life.”

Which is not license to Gentile up what the Hebrew God painstakingly revealed to humanity.

We cannot approach Holy God on OUR terms. Even the evangelization of the Good News is proof of this. We are not born Christians even if in a so-called Christian nation.
