actually, we've discussed just about evertyhing one might think about over the years I've been here. While this might be a bit touchy, I personally don't see it as a minor thing.

Because of you, you've just added weight to it.

Um, I understand you having priorities in other areas, Monarchy... but to go to threads that do not align with your priorities is itself the waste you fret over.

By all means go to other threads where what you are concerned with is being discussed.

Better yet, turn off your computer and preach in the streets or in your neighborhood.

Lambasting us is discourteous, unfruitful, and as I said a waste of your time.

So, what other conclusion would YOU come up with?

I believe the theory that Judas thought he would "help" move things along for the Messiah-King to rise against the Romans and win Israel back into sovereignty (what pretty much everyone back then were looking for in Messiah).

When Jesus was arrested and carried away instead of rising against the soldiers as he thought would happen, he was cut to the core and couldn't live with himself.

No, no impasse just your unwillingness to see the clear line of scripture I showed you.

I hate it when people throw this kind of arrogance into a debate.

There is no Scriptural grounds for anyone coming back to life - apart from those raised from the dead by the power of God while their body is still intact - period.

Whoa! Heavy man.

Oh?

Romans 8:23 (KJV)

23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

Apostle Paul wrote this some 1900 years ago. His body long since turned to dust. It will be raised in the general resurrection when the dead in Christ rise first. Millions and millions of bodies will be raise that are dust (or not intact as you put it).

You do believe in a bodily resurrection, don't you?

And who is going to raise Judas Iscariot? God?

Has Satan ever raised the dead?

I made a mistake in understanding about the topic, the Seal of Solomon (Star of David), I though the topic spoke of an artifact that might of had powers. How I reached that understanding is not important. Of course the symbol is to be esteemed and I love to see it on Israeli flags because it causes the memory of David's greatness.

I am sorry JohnDB, for snapping to a harsh judgement of your OP.

And who is going to raise Judas Iscariot? God?

Has Satan ever raised the dead?

Revelation 20:1-3 (KJV)

1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
